[2:00]If we went anywhere else on campus we were the dorks i've never smelled this bass clef before Rob guy you must have a club foot or something he's totally walking off beat he's just Completely off being on his walking hey i'm here to see some g-strings that's what i would Say if i went to the music library that's a good joke now listen okay i realized without a Parody song these two jokes are going to come parasitically close to each other so nothing We just said could be edited out i've got three guys here who think kierkegaard's either or are Often centered around only perceived overly simplistic presentation of life's choices It's potential for promoting moral relativism as i said by emphasizing the either or dichotomy It's lack of clear ethical grounding it's potential damaging impacted individuals Who might feel pressured to choose between drastically different life paths Without considering nuanced options in between i mean i've got three jean-paul chartres here This is then we're going to lose half our audience we cannot do whatever you're doing

[3:00]Now we cannot keep i think you lost half of the panel here the half that's not going To laugh at a jean-paul sartre joke goodbye don't need you okay either or there's the door Either stay and listen or you can get the out there are less than three people Listening to this that have any even close to having a clue what you're talking about Now do you think if you think that sounded weird because i was reading the words off the page not Understanding what i was saying i to that i say what listen okay i've got matt minneapolis we're Talking about oh i should say we're talking about elliot smith either or man i got matt Minneapolis matt how are you doing today good rob drink up baby stay up all night why not we Need sleep oh my god i got a russell in minneapolis with no sun streaming in the basement today Russell how are you doing today i'm doing good guys last time when we were in vegas and i was Late you thought i was hung over it turns out i i'm going to admit i actually tripped over a dog In a choke chain collar oh wow oh no how did my choke change collar get out of my hotel stay in

[4:00]The box yeah and i've got oh nevermind it was good tell a story but i'm not going to and i've Got aaron out in california now aaron told me he he said he had a bet with his wife he said i'm going To make a car out of spaghetti and guys you should have seen her face when he drove pasta could you Do that with an italian accent redo it sure i told my wife i'm going to make a car out of spaghetti You should have seen her face when i drove a pasta I don't have a lot to quote on this album but i did go to target and michael's in alameda California yesterday so i feel close to it let's let's talk about elliot smith All right let's get right to the voicemail which i just remembered i did not you guys realize when When we don't do the parody song it means rob also doesn't do the beck did a better song

[5:00]Oh oh geez yeah what the hell podcast is what's up that's a problem well how do we do this i don't Even want to listen and i would say like welcome to beck what would i say i would say today we're Doing elliot smith how about this elliot smith this is elliot smith either or blah i Mean what are we this is elliot john paul sartre when you want to hear about it does go better Quality of this song is so poorly recorded every time i hear it on the podcast i should re-record it No no i don't know how i don't know how i did it it's not the time you got to just roll with it I know but it's so lo-fi for this album although actually i don't know i did it better I don't know listen okay let's get right into the voicemail next time russell next episode I machine i just got back from the future rivets smoke i nailed it I nailed when to play the theme song next episode so joe there's gonna be a little Weak delay i know you hate that but get ready okay you're gonna hear me nail it

[6:00]Same as the old tickler file Beat the new tickler same as the old tickler don't get fooled again f mary kill Dave matthews band matchbox 20. Goo dolls Dave matthews band matchbox 20. Goo dolls now i have to mean by f what is what does that mean It was the f stand for a finger oh no no no no uh-oh russell's brussels Russell has a list of words that somebody whose life has written for somebody who's written down A couple of words for russell where he's now his response to those words but guys of course we're Talking about which band would you like to which band would you like to marry and which band would You like to kill all right i don't know which band would you like to marry and which band would you Like to kill all right which band would you like to marry and which band would you like to kill all right What do we think do you do dolls do now google dolls i am not as familiar i have to say with the

[7:00]Google dolls i know their most famous song is iris okay oh yeah i mean this is a banger right Compared to the other two bands now well i mean matchbox 20. Awesome What's their biggest great lineup we just had a song by them Ago yeah what was the one i just didn't i just have one that i played in the background Do you get smooth as a max budget 20 adjacent song no that's that's rob thomas that's rob thomas only Okay the other matchbox 20 guys were like are you serious we not we're not part of smooth You know they were there they were like lined up next to record they're like we don't Have any of this smooth money terrible what's the best matchbox 20 song man if you're gone Bent is considered its number one hit let's pull up bent Bent yep bent what about the one that's like sunday morning rain is falling oh no that's murdering five

[8:00]I get them confused back to good that's a good one back to good matchbox 20. Unwell That's what i mean This is a really easy one for me okay mary is easy for me Well okay so you know what let's just go you killed it right before it hit the No i never do that so okay so let's pick our married right now okay who are you marrying out Of this group dave matthews same very dave matthews man all day i gotta say the same thing That's who i'd wanna spend the most time with that's what are you marrying I did have a dave matthews band cd at one point but here's why i'm i'm gonna Dump or kill dave matthews band i can't understand the people who are dave matthews

[9:00]Band like they go to all the concerts like there are so many people out there that are diehards Like matt is with pearl jam with dave matthews band i don't get it i'm killing them i'm dumb Dumping dave matthews band you're doing dave oh wow that's crazy just because you don't like the In-laws i i don't i don't get the space between i don't get the die for it that's what i don't get They're cool i like the band smart this song's better than any google dog This is so much better russell i don't care if the fans are the most annoying but on Crush is this like an issue where like you learn with like the people adjacent to the Person you would potentially marry and that's why you wouldn't want to marry them what You think a little real family the big problem is that they're dave matthews fans This song right here is on my oh this is on my top 100 songs of all time this is my only Dave matthews band song I could listen to this song on repeat over and over. I love this song. You never stop surprising me, man.

[10:00]Oh, right. This is a good song. Now, of course, you cannot talk about Dave Matthews and not think about his RV dumping poop onto that boat in Chicago. That is the number one reason. Also, the reason I'm marrying them. I like stuff like that. So you guys have all picked Dave Matthews' band. I agree. I like the Dave Matthews' band songs better. Which one are you marrying? Here's the real question. What are you prioritizing, the fucking or the marrying? To me, that's a lifetime commitment. You got to listen to a band for the rest of your days, and you got to listen to their days at work. You got to listen to stuff about maybe if they're running a powerlifting meet, you got to listen to a lot of stuff about that. And actually, when it was over a week ago, you still have to listen to stuff. It's crazy. It's crazy how much more stuff you have to listen to. Or I think what they... What's the good part about being married again, guys?

[11:00]Tax breaks? What's that? You've been on tax breaks? Nope. As you know, she has thrust us into a much higher tax bracket, as she talked about yesterday, With whether or not I can quit my job last time we were together. I got to say Dave Matthews. I just think the variety is good. I think it's fun. So what are you... What are you having the one-night stand with, and what are you getting rid of? I'll tell you. Let's do one-night stand. Who are we effing? Okay? And who knows what that stands for? Matchbox 20 for me. Really? I'll mess around with them for a little bit. Really? See what happens. Yeah. Goo Dolls are so soft. They're so soft. I can't... I don't know, man. I was going to say Matchbox 22, but once you played Bent, I was like, I'm not sure I can get... I don't know. Bent is bad. I... My Matchbox 20 is so clouded by Rob Thomas being on Smooth that I... I didn't realize how much I don't really dig their stuff. Yeah. Smooth sets you back. Smooth is like if you know that girl dated the weird knife guy in college.

[12:00]Like, she dated the guy with all the knives in his dorm room, and now she wants to come and mess around with you. Are you going to let knife guy throw you off? Okay? Or is it... Listen, every college... If you went to college, you knew there was a weird knife guy. Yeah, that was... Guy with a collection of knives. Yeah, that was Chris from Lake Oswego. My freshman year, they got me a birthday cake, and he goes... Bright Lights is the song. Put on Bright Lights by Matchbox 20. That's the one we played a couple weeks ago. So, what did Chris from Oswego do? These guys got me a birthday cake my freshman year of college. Russell might have been there. It was a Marvin the Martian cake, and we were sitting down in the dorm... In the lobby, and it was like, oh, we got a cake. We don't have any knives. And Chris from Lake Oswego goes, I got a knife. And he runs up to his room and brings down... What, Russell? Like a nine-inch Bowie knife? Like, just not the sort of thing that you would have expected someone to have in their dorm room. In their dorm room? Something that should have not made it through a metal detector or something along those ways, right? Yeah. There's no way to take a birthday party from lots of fun to unsettling when the guy goes and grabs his knife.

[13:00]I mean, he was the number one fun to unsettling guy I've ever met in my life. Now, I do have to get back to the fact that it was a Marvin the Martian cake. Yeah, I don't know how that happened. I don't know. Maybe I'm imagining that, but I feel like they got me a Marvin the Martian cake. The frosting on this cake was both green and black, two of the grossest frosting colors. We all know it. If you're stuck with black frosting, it is a gross day. Okay? The answer, by the way, is I'm effing around with the Goo Dolls, Because I like Iris better than any of these songs that you guys have played me. I think for one night, I could put up with just a true banger. That's kind of right. You know what I mean? It's good, though. I don't think frosting tastes different based on the color, does it? That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. I mean, that's the whole joke about red velvet cake, right? It's like red velvet is just red food coloring. Like, black frosting tastes horrible. That's not a joke, though, Aaron, because red velvet cake, it's cream cheese frosting, So it's a totally different taste. But the cake itself. Yeah, but frosting is not red velvet cake, Aaron.

[14:00]Top two frosting flavors. Number one, white. Okay? And number two, okay, is pink. If it's a giant pink flower, we know that's delicious frosting. Green and black frosting, bottom tier, F tier frosting colors. I'm still friends with at least one of those people. Although it's probably, I'm going to guess it was not Russell who got me the cake. If I remember correctly. I would have got that cake, I would have ate that shit myself, Aaron. Sorry, it was not me. But Russell, you wouldn't even have a knife. Wouldn't that slow you down? Just kidding. I once put a hammer in a cake in college. I told you that story, right? What? When I was at the football house. They were having a party, and they had a cake in the middle of the table of the football, And they had a hammer. Well, so you got to pick up the hammer and go, ding, school's in, sucka. And then you use the clock. You use the claw part of the hammer to dig out a piece of cake. That's normal. And then speaking of hooking up more one-night stands, Why didn't I have more one-night stands in college? But it didn't have anything to do with the hammer and the cake story,

[15:00]Because you know I ate the cake off the hammer, too. That's all. Question. And I think a lot of people didn't like my frosting conversations I had at the party, too, Where I'd be like, oh, this is grade A frosting. Yeah, because you're a white supremacist frosting guy. That's not, no. I'm just, okay, so let's go to Rob wore one of those hoods that looked like, Like a frosting thing with a thing cut out on the top. Is that going to come out? Oh, my God. He's putting it in the star-shaped thing on his hat. He's doing a different shape frosting. Oh, that joke is funny. But if you tried to explain to somebody, they would never want to listen to this podcast. So let's talk about dump. Who are we dumping out of this group? Okay. Oh, I guess that's just who's left, right? I got to say. Smashbox 20. And I think too, Aaron, I think smooth really screwed me up. Let's listen to smooth. Let's see if that's better than we think. Yeah. Carlos Santana on it. It's like, it's, it's on the graph of cheesy to great.

[16:00]It's like up in the right quadrant. Like it's cheesy and great. I heard this song so many times growing up. I agree. This clouds Smashbox 20. Matt, you're getting rid of Google dolls because they're soft, huh? Yeah. I saw the first concert I ever went to, like my mom dropped me off and Went with a couple of buddies was Google dolls opening up for Bush from Google dolls soft To Bush who good thing I had two pair of socks on that day. Cause one of them got rocked off. That's good. You know, it was good. I had, it was not even close. So I just, I haven't liked them since then. They did not have a good first impression. Russell, I can't remember what you said, but did you just already say you're going to dump Dave Matthews? Yeah. I don't like their pants. Get them out of here. I'm out. Oh my God. Aaron can't deal with it. Can you say something that's such a transition us to the Rolling Stones section?

[17:00]No Rolling Stones section. Well, they're rolling going section. We need a joke to get out of the voicemail section, but this is the hardest thing. Yes. I'm not the joke guy. Aaron. Okay. How about this? This song reminds me a lot of what, Santana's favorite peanut butter. Collection is what that is, Aaron? It's got to be crunchy. Everybody's here. It's got to be the organic stir peanut butter. It is organic. He's dumb as shit. Santana famously came out and said, duh. I like you only have to stir it once, Rob. Yeah, right. It also, I, that happens to me sometimes, right? Open up the peanut butter and there's some liquid in there. You know what? Closing it back up. Don't need peanut butter that bad in my life. Not going to stir my peanut butter. I was going through. I have a, what's, what's one of these things called a lazy Susan. One of these things in the cabinet where you spin it around and it's got everything in There. And I was looking through the other day and I came across a canister of Aaron's.

[18:00]You got to stir it. Peanut butter. I was like, you gotta be shitting me. Oh, it's so good, man. It's just, it's just peanuts. That's all that's in there. Maybe some salt. You know, Russ spun that shit back to the back. Get out of my sight. He spins it around. It's gone. Roland going here. And how's it going with you? It's going pretty well. I do. I want to let you know. Russell, I will happily stir your peanut butter anytime. Number one thing I was a little bit late getting on the podcast tonight. We don't have to talk about it. I'm sorry to keep you guys up late, but I have to, I had to watch the Iowa state cyclones Close out their first 10 win season in program history for the victory over K state. So I was pumped up to watch that. So I super enjoyed it. And of course, Rob is about to play the university of Iowa fight song. We love the Hawks. I got my Brad Banks Jersey on tonight. Go Hawks. He lost. He lost to the cyclones in his only, in his orange bowl season. He had two losses.

[19:00]One was to Iowa state. Aaron, I'm just coming over as a Hawk. I'm going to come over and shake your hand right now. So if you'll just shake my hand, I think everything's going to be fine. No problems there. Happy to shake hands. So I would say that's what's immediately happening with me, but I want to ask you guys, I, I don't Get out as much as Russell does, but I wanted to tell a, I wanted to do like a little bit Of a story about, hanging out with a bartender. And again, I'm going to do a little bit of a story about, hanging out with a bartender. I'm going to get you guys thoughts on this. So in, when we spoke last, I was in Arizona. So on my way back from Arizona, I was in the Phoenix airport. It had been a day. I was, it was afternoon. So I was like, okay, I'm going to go get a drink at the bar. But first I walked around for a bit. In fact, I even listened to this podcast. I was walking around the airport, listening to this podcast. Wow. I got to say you guys, the Charleston and the job of the hut joke. Very funny. Some good stuff. Thank you. Yeah. Thank you. I mean, really though, Aaron, imagine you're in the twenties. Okay. Oh, let's go down to the store. I'm going to buy my favorite kind of candy. Charleston chew. I'm going to go home and dance. I'm dancing the Charleston. No wonder it was called the great depression.

[20:00]That's the joke I should have made. So, and there was some good, I think there was some good vocal effects. I don't know. You guys make a good podcast. Russell's 1920s voice was very good. Russell, what would a 1920s guy have to say about frosting? I'm going to steal this Charleston chew out of this. I'm Rob. My name's I'm Rob. I'm going to steal this Charleston chew. Out of this station here. Cause I don't pay for shit. Yeah. Hey, fellow 1920s guy. What's your favorite kind of frosting? Red frosting. Right? Oh my God. That's red. You know what? Red worse than green, Russell. You just reminded me. Red is one of the, if you get a full thing and it's a slight, it's just red frosting. You know, you're in for a gross ass time. Isn't that what like the flowers are Rob? I like kind of cake. Aren't the flowers like red? Pink. Pink. Russell, bro. You got to buy more cakes. I wouldn't know any of this stuff. I got to tell you, Aaron airport bars, an all time great place to get like a 2 PM drink. Yes. So that's what I did. It was 2 PM. And I was like, I've been walking around all day.

[21:00]I had done a little bit of a hike in the morning. I was like, I'm going to get myself a whiskey. I walk in the front of the breast re-zinc. They had blends, a couple of other things. I was like, I'm going to sit down and get a whiskey. And it was one of those where it still has the sign that says, please wait to be seated, Which like even in an airport is just like, wow, I can't believe we're doing this, but Cool. I'll sit down and wait. And the bartender was like, I'm going to sit down and get a whiskey. Kind of a grizzled veteran bartender looking guy. And so like you waited the sign and we took him like big country Grizzled. Mike, what are we talking about? Honestly, he kind of did look like big country. He was like a big dude had a little bit of like a mullet kind of going on. Kind of like a, definitely like a pro wrestler jobber goatee like You're exactly right, Russell. So he's got to wave you over and he's the kind of guy who goes your brother right away Or friend or whatever you know. Right you know who this might have been at any point now let me just ask you this at any point Did he talk about owning a truck that had big arms in the front of it remember that when hulk

[22:00]Hogan also had like a monster truck like that's the height of being a man is when you have a monster Truck named after you there's not many people that have done that i'm all set to get a whiskey and so He has to like motion you over and it's like it's like a it's like a ceremony right it's like you've Been blessed when our bartender like points at you points to a seat so you're already in the Mindset of like yes this guy controls his space like this is his domain right so i'm blessed to Sit at his bar and so i sit down he kind of has this it's just like kind of like hang dog that Kind of quiet demeanor and he's like what do you want man like a ipa or something like that And i was like yeah i guess i need an ipa like this guy knows what i know what this guy knows What i want better than i do so of course i'm like yeah look at the ipa and i was perfectly Happy with it it was great but then it turns out that's his thing like he tries to guess everybody's Drink when they sit down like he's trying to like this is how he's entertaining himself at work my Favorite one was a younger guy sits down next to me you know kind of like a i don't know hipster

[23:00]Looking dude and so he's like what do you want a modelo and the guy wanted white wine and he knew Exactly he didn't even look at the list the guy knew exactly what wine he wanted he totally threw The whole wrench in the Whole thing and of course my friend the bartender handled it with aplomb but it was a fun experience Is there a drink he could say that is yours that you would be insulted by Don't say slippery don't say slippery nipple although that would be funny you look like a Slippery nipple guy well i don't know like maybe if he just said like hey you look like you need To diet coke oh that's rough that would be tough that's true what are you saying sir that is rough Anyway Diet right diet donald trump has said a lot of things but when he did say that He's never seen a skinny person drinking a diet coke i think about that almost every week i mean Look at this these are by the way the diet cokes they have in new york they have these tall boy Diet cokes i've shown you guys this before right hey your hands look really small yeah no i've got

[24:00]I've i've got huge hands actually i mean i i know we have a lot of hard seltzer fans on or fans On the call tonight but i like i think if i sat down and listening I think if i sat down and he like cracked open a high noon from the cooler i'd be like Hey man i do want like a proper drink at this moment in my life not that i'm against the high I mean i like seltzers but i think if it was like those are for all day drink right you know those Are for the marathon not the sprint yes you get not for quality if you're drinking for Quality you're not drinking a fucking yeah you get it you know i truly disagree with you guys Are you ordering it truly at the bar russell though no way no chance I did i went to this bar in new york where with every drink you got a free hot dog And i but so i was like well i'm gonna get came with a free hot dog oh yeah so the bartender Would give that would be a proper time to get a seltzer i i just got seltzers there And the bartender would give you the drinks and then go and turn around and put on latex gloves

[25:00]And then take out a bun from a bag of buns in the back and then go into the dirty water And give you as many hot dogs as drinks you got so if you got four drinks you got four hot dogs And it was a cheap if you come here rosie we're going i think this place might be named rosie's I feel like there's a pig out front is it place named bar in new york just give me i just Was appreciating this guy's approach to his job he he didn't just let you he he controlled the Space and even when somebody threw him off he was okay with it so i like that i like how Somebody like makes some choices and makes that makes the thing their own so that's it fun to see Fun to see people good at their job that's like any person in any sort of like tourist town right It's like disney world you know in vegas we run across this in vegas right where so you just know They're not being very genuine but that's their job they know they're there for you're there for One weekend and you're never like who is that gal that knows john from owatonna what was her name Last year do we even remember no are you serious like we talked for like three days right because

[26:00]Minnesota things like that she's just trying to be friendly it's like that like you have to if you Know you don't have regulars coming or something like that you have to find a job you have to find A way to make your job enjoyable like that right you might as well just mess with tourists at the Airport but if you remember that so that woman you're talking about was our waitress at Vegas for the football game so she saw us for multiple days eight hours at a time and we would Get like we she would kind of drop the facade a little bit and then tell us real things that were Going on and without fail every one of them made us super depressed for like the last Time She'd be like well my husband and i split up but i still moved out here with them We're like oh yeah we still live together yeah we're like oh god i wish you would have said that You know what aaron if the guy what if the guy came out and said you look like a white russian Guy that'd be pretty ball i would have had to drink one right i'd be like i mean i'd have to Been like well it's your bar this is what you think i need i mean that's what dude abides I would love to be a white russian guy god that'd be good and it's probably not me but that's me how

[27:00]Is everyone going with russell we're only going things are good i went to a thanksgiving day Celebration with some i don't know what you'd call them people and there was about 20 people at this would you call them in laws you can't couldn't pick a worse name than people Just like people humans so i get there and it turned out there ended up being about 20 People there was more than i was expecting but you know i don't know what threw me off about This thanksgiving day celebration yeah The number of dogs that were at this oh yeah what do you think is the limit on dogs that should be Allowed at a thanksgiving day celebration one and they better be under better be like under four Months or something like where you have to watch them or something like that i'm telling you russell To me it's about five or six bring all the dogs in i love a thanksgiving with dogs you got dogs Around they're all over the place some of the dogs like you some of the dogs don't i love having some

[28:00]Dogs around we hit the high first i want to say this Very clearly food was great all the people were great okay great time yeah but over six and a half Dogs over six and a half dogs might be too many for us seven dogs at the thanksgiving at once i Was like this is crazy how does everyone handle all these dogs right around and most of them were You know well-behaved dogs you know they weren't causing a problem but it got a little bit much What are your guys thoughts seven dogs at a thanksgiving day celebration Did you ever have the urge to just get the dogs totally Whipped up like you start They're like stop barking i mean in a lot of cases dogs are not gonna like kids are gonna be Even worse than dogs but it's yeah sure every well-behaved dog is well behaved in their Own home or under the certain circumstances but when you get seven over six and a half dogs Together it doesn't matter which ones are well behaved there's gonna be some shit going down What's the worst thing you saw a dog do did any of them eat food off the table no there was no eating

[29:00]Food off the table so that none of them were that bad there was like the occasional little dog who Was like walking on the back of the couch or whatever that no big deal but one of the dogs Was a very loud high-pitched barker and this is something like i have got this problem with like Loud unexpected noises does that make sense like i don't i don't respond well to it it freaks like If someone were to drop something unexpected it it it catches me it i'm not ready for it And the one dog was a very loud high-pitched barker But most of the dogs were like i don't know what to do with it i don't know what to do with it Most of the dogs were fantastic i just was like seven is a lot of dark like what kind of Space are we in here picturing russell's face when he's at this family event and you know already he's Like and then he shows up and there's like seven dogs and one of them barks and russell flinches And everybody goes oh russell you flinch when the dog bark that they make fun of russell for Flinching and he's just sitting there like get me out of here just out of here russell's russell you

[30:00]See russell go To the kitchen he goes a dog pooped on the floor comes back well i think part of the The thing with having the dogs like aaron you mentioned it or matt you said one is the Appropriate it should be the dog that lives there none of the other ones i think part of the crazy Thing is you saw all the people like tending to their dog making sure the dog wasn't getting into Some so they're constantly like running after making sure the dog's all right and it just Seemed like a lot it seemed like a lot more stress than what i would be able or capable of handling I finally this is the first thanksgiving i've had where my kids are old enough both of them Are old enough to just sit and watch football or do their own thing or hang out with the other Cousins stuff like that where i didn't have to watch them it's been literally like 12 years of Like watching kids to make sure they're not pulling crap down and everything why would you Add a dog that's right you made it like why would you i don't know and it's probably people Is there people with kids and dogs or is it just like dog parents that are bringing their dogs along

[31:00]I think it was people without kids that brought dogs people with kids i and i think it's it's just A family where everyone's like a dog owner right yeah and so it makes sense like if you were to go Back to your parents you bring your dog what do you mean yeah rob how do you know well i just to Me what i'm picturing is that you get the newlywed couple and i bet the husband is a rural guy who Bought a dog that he wants to go hunting with so his way of interacting with the dog and i'm not Gonna do it now because i'll yell i'll wake up people is just yelling at the dog like he's in There's always guys who are like 23 when they have a dog they're like chelsea don't get over here and You're like dude we just shut up we do not care that your dog is not returning the throwable Duck toy that you've been playing with for the past three hours okay just shut the fuck up stop Yelling at your goddamn dog we don't care okay we like matt said we just release ourselves Of kids duty now matt if you are like me you did buy a dog who immediately had a number of health

[32:00]Problems haven't you done this twice oh no including now the dog is like oh my god i'm Just itchy like that's one of his main problems being blind is even still eating underwear is This oh yeah well i didn't have to just buy underwear for my daughter she says the dog is Still eating that he is not eating as much as mine because he can't see anymore a lot of my Underwear is very visual how much your underwear just kidding i think he gets it i'm Not gonna lie he gets it by scent he's not exactly a sighthound anymore roll it go man How's it going with you good i i thought i'd just continue our list from last Week just oh yes well also joe from woodbury wouldn't be can i just show you guys this i Gotta delete this i gotta delete this picture because it keeps distracting me but look at this The hulk all good monster truck it is very hulkster i mean it's got his big arms can you Imagine having arms so cool it's on the side of a monster truck if a guy pulled up to my house And he had the truck with the hulkster arms and he came in and then fucked my wife I would get it to me i would get that i'd be like this guy gets it

[33:00]To fuck my wife look at this car he pulled how much sushi are we talking oh Especially in new york city there's nowhere to park that truck No you can't invite brother i'm double parked i gotta fuck your wife real quick I just ate a bunch i mean you know too he's eating rolls right he's not eating sashimi Right he's he's having the heat up in there and he's doing like the big like the deep fried rolls You know what i mean like stuff on there and yeah shrimp tempura with hot sauce and That scorpion roll gotta go fuck my friend's wife oh brother and don't forget he got a call from his Son mid-banging and picked it up which is true that's it i gotta now you gotta admit that guy's A good dad because if i was banging my friend's wife and my kid called there's a very low chance I'm picking up that call hello what do you need starbucks for your friends okay sorry go

[34:00]Ahead man you were saying Just gonna for joe from woodbury just so i wasn't hanging on tenterhooks yeah for next week so I think we got to about 45 i think we just talked about big lebowski that was like number 43 or Something like that so i've just got a few highlights i say this i loved owning soundtracks Growing up i thought soundtracks were a fun way to collect a vibe album without having to buy all The albums like i think the forest gum soundtrack it's really good it was like a classic in Our house and if you love to move You felt like you needed to get the soundtrack yes i always i liked all that what was the there Was a 19 rap see if you can look this i think it was 1994 x games soundtrack kind of a thing That had just a whole bunch of songs see what presents x games the soundtrack album Or if you loved end of the road and realized that it wasn't on Fully high harmony you had to buy the boomerang soundtrack exactly yeah that's a good point

[35:00]It's a great point if one of the number One things that the boom it wasn't because it's like goddamn you know what movie i want to think About when i'm listening to music boomerang i've never seen the x games volume one rob go x games Volume one x games volume one geez higher ground by chili peppers so click on that five More so higher ground by pepper chili by the way can i just say this was the song are you Gonna go my way this was the song awesome kingdom by toady this is the song when you guys hear this Is so funny by court so of course i had that bass I brought to college with the amp now i was not a music major i was not a band i was not good at Playing bass let you in the music library we've discussed nobody was getting in the music library I just played it and it must have bugged can you imagine somebody practicing bass while you're at Football camp can you imagine something more annoying to your life not a bass just a bad guy Playing bass the other guard comes in pete who it turns out guess what he played in the jazz band in His high school okay i'll give you one guess the bass he pulls up and goes hey can i play that real

[36:00]Quick he then plays this Now after he played this i packed up that bass and i brought it home And i never touched it again because he in front of everybody with my bass he played this song I mean what the fuck he did this yes he did this might as well play your other instrument from i Was just like it's a good thing i beat his ass for a starting spot my freshman year when he was A year older than me because he dominated me in bass playing that's man this is one of the i know About the chili peppers ones but that's a mind like stevie wonder probably played that Bass line with his fingers right he probably played it on a key on a synthesizer and then Flea was like well yeah i can do that on a bass fucking guitar it's crazy good now listen to the Rest of this are you gonna go my way lenny kravitz a guy who we have not talked about enough on this Podcast okay once again i will say you can't you can do worse than putting on a lenny kravitz album Any time of your life yeah it's great jerry a little primus jerry was a race car driver

[37:00]Oh here we go google dolls guys google dolls only one so man you think of google dolls are soft Well maybe you haven't listened to xp put that one on quick i don't remember i think i skipped Over that one okay yeah you don't remember xk now we're gonna start the episode over What are we gonna do we're never gonna get i knew this is a good voicemail this video is weird I like this i don't remember this Hey google dolls i'm glad we're we effed one night okay on my navy blue sheets Happen to be a notch in your bed you know there's i'm looking about the sixth one down on your list There was the 20 worst live performances of all time we have to we would have to put that in the Okay that's in the tickler file joe it's in the tickler file you know what's not In the worst live performances of all time the dolphins lament that's in the best

[38:00]It's one of their best albums a lot of people say that one of i've heard a lot of people saying that All right let me get through this quick so number 30 was singles the movie singles and had You know pearl jam was on their smash pumpkins paul westerberg wasn't with the he had some Solo yeah so by the way is his replacements guy did he literally just listen through 156 and say Screw you guys i'm done i think he sent me a text today that he's recently decided the beatles are Good so if you want to update on replacement guy yeah well you know what replacements guy we should Call him up because he's gonna like the end of this list he just heard hide your love away for The first time he's like these guys are pretty good he sounds like russ at the beginning of this Podcast okay these beatles guys are pretty good hey yeah if if if he likes the beatles he Should listen to a little band called back there's a whole podcast about that yeah right

[39:00]Number 25 one of my favorite movies of all time almost famous it's great soundtrack water You know when they're playing tiny dancer singing yeah they're singing that it's great all time Number 19 one of john from edina's favorite movies well almost famous is one of his favorites as well I know that but boogie nights oh soundtrack to boogie nights is number 19 soundtrack Is that a sister christian on it night ranger yeah of course it does motor in number 17 this is spinal tap which gets funnier the more you watch can i first couple times you watch you Don't get that i know every song on that album i know every song i know every lyrics i played it Before but one of the greatest songs of all time okay of course is oh my god how can i type in sex Form right you know what i mean like how hard is it to just type and those songs are all the Originals that were written for the movie is that correct yes a hundred percent

[40:00]All right but it's kind of like what was the movie with mark walberg where he filled in as the Singer invincible You know he was head to the born identity Whoever he filled in you know the like the actual songs they're actually pretty darn good songs that They had there is just like Like spinal tap number 16 which again kind of crazy that it's at 16 i'm sorry 16 is good Fellas i just i love that movie so like number 13 i would think this would be a little bit higher But oh brother where art thou is that number 13 what that's 13 russell did you hear that's Top five oh brother without thar is that 13th i mean top 20 that's a respectable spot i think it's Gotta be top 10 i don't know that's gotta be all right top 10 now something called wild style from

[41:00]1983 it was like a kind of first hip-hop yeah i mean that feels like a cultural artifact kind of Choice i don't know number nine american graffiti good movie number eight the graduate i mean i Remember you know they had the song this is robinson from there yeah but that's is that i Mean that deserves to be that up high i don't think so i don't think so number seven which i You know again we were young when this came out this is we were impressionable but number seven Is pulp fiction that is a killer soundtrack that had The song jungle boogie on it of course okay which you would never confuse for a different song Earlier all right jungle boogie is such a great song by cool in the gang oh i love it all right Number six superfly which we've already had is number 76 on the list yeah number five saturday Fever which is number 163 in the list so superfly which is 76 higher which means it has a lower Number lower on the list which means it has a higher number yeah that makes sense to me

[42:00]Number four for replacements guy hard day's night oh number four soundtrack of all time check it out Hard i don't is that i can't believe is that really a soundtrack though wasn't that in an Album that they made a movie too i mean that wasn't true so number three the harder they come Which we had at 174 i agree that was a pretty yeah that was fun soundtrack number two For replacements guy movie help There's two beatles yeah like give me a break so we will come to that we will hear that At 266 in about a year from now what the hell that's so crazy who made this list it's like They're like okay how are we gonna piss people off guys thank god we did make a podcast about This dumb list you know what i mean and then number one again is it a soundtrack or is It just album but purple rain number one soundtrack of all time which is number eight on our list yeah

[43:00]I guess it is a soundtrack yeah but then again the bodyguard is number one that's crazy guys that's That's the craziest that's that yeah see to me the soundtrack should be movies that the director Picked to go with it like i think if you listen to the rush singles the rushmore soundtrack that That's on there that's pretty it's one of the greatest soundtracks of all time because it Totally defines what the movie feels like it gives you a sense of the movie right help is not doing That rush bar was number 12. Rob so it was yeah that's a great it's a great one mark mother's bar yeah as great as purple rain is It it was a companion piece with the movie they're not they're not yeah or is part of their by Or pants or is part of the problem that the album's so big that you don't think about the movie as Much as you think about the album yeah i i don't know i don't know so that's it rob rolling Going how's it going with you here's the deal morning radio shows i found out have a a You know i'm obsessed with like morning radio i love the idea i wanted to be on the radio show

[44:00]I used to listen to lots of morning radio shows and they have a formula which they call the dick The dork and the deer okay so we got to figure out who on this podcast well oh no let's just go Through it i'm not sure the way it sets up is there's a guy who is the dick who is mean and Causes trouble okay who kind of just goes against what other people say all the time oh boy all right And who sometimes is actually some of the most attractive of the whole thing Then there is the dork okay the person on the podcast who is socially awkward who's kind of a Nerd okay who does weird stuff k fan in the twin cities has this nailed and then There is the deer who is the person that everybody loves who's really nice okay so my question Is what's russell you know what i mean like what is russell on this show we need to come up with Another d word to describe russell i think

[45:00]The dichotomy of all of them the director i like that i don't know russell i have all these Pictures russell has got russell is a really interesting guy to have on a music podcast Because when we started his musical knowledge his pop culture knowledge is almost is is not it's not Zero because you do have this very like if it's a show on fx about a group of guys doing something Russell is seeing the shit out of that show you know what i mean i'm doing rescue me right now Oh my god you're doing rescue me I'm gonna But russell has a weird like pop culture gaps and i think when we started he had Almost no musical knowledge right like he had no russell he plays a role but he had more musical Knowledge than you think he he knows stuff remember his choir list he knew a lot of stuff That's true eyes the boy that builds the boat rob yep i don't know what d word do you think you

[46:00]Are on the podcast russell i'm the d word for you I'm out going and doing things that makes this podcast fun to listen to right wow Russell that's why you're the doer do do and do that's crazy that's true wait So who's who's the dick what matt you're raising your hand Or you are you pointing up to my zoom though like this is a pretty bunch of situation I mean rob's obviously the dork right rob's obviously no i'm obviously the deer so i play A character on this show where i argue with people and i make fun of people things i would never do in Real life people okay oh yeah and make fun of everyone equally matt and aaron both have dork And deer qualities i would say that they've probably got those roles split appreciate that You did that song you wrote last week was a pretty dick continue to bring out well the worst part

[47:00]Was is i didn't share with the text change just like you said i shared it with the text yeah of Course we knew that was going on and the response was underwhelming so i was like the guys were Right it wasn't good so you know sometimes you just get sometimes you get misses you know what I mean yeah i know the beatles they wrote a couple songs they're like this is gonna Crush and nobody liked it they're like well for those that don't know rob had an inappropriate Song last week that's not going to be shared with the general public yeah and i had to nicely put To him chicago guy can email if he wants to hear it i i Nicely said in a text rob i'm not trying to be critical but this i think would need to come out If this were me it would need to come out and then matt immediately followed up and said it has To come out which i appreciated matt jumping on board and he did the right thing he knew What had to happen with the way you guys text me with baby gloves on okay and yeah that's what they Are they're the softest of gloves they're baby you said you take that stuff personally so i was You would think i exploded you would think i explode into a

[48:00]Rage when you guys think my songs are too dirty i get it okay a song a parody to truck and that's Not about rucking i get why that would be too dirty okay i understand it and i appreciate the Feedback okay i would rather put out a song about rucking than one where if people thought maybe Having a certain kind of sex was you know not as funny as maybe other people in this podcast thought It was then i appreciate the help with that i really do so i i've now just learned whatever Russ says with the edits that's good i used to fight for him i don't do that anymore because i Just trust him Okay now we start if we start litigating this f word though we are going to have an issue about That because i think the f word is very funny okay and the word is not funny here and i can See you look confused russell hit him with the f word can you bleep it for nobody's favorite oh Yeah it's finger fucking oh just kidding i'm putting the i'm putting a big echo Behind it here and it's gonna be the loudest thing you've ever heard it's gonna be like he's saying It to god himself listen let's talk about either or

[49:00]He hit us with a double f word by the way there yeah double f we're talking about either or By elliot smith so you here's the thing with elliot smith right is that this is another one i'm just Going to spoiler alert for the end here elliot smith ends up stabbing himself in the chest at The end of this whole thing right we've had a couple artists like this who kind of put out Albums who are these where you know kind of like a jeff buckley thing right you know the tragic end So it kind of paints the whole album with a separate thing a lot like nick drake right Same thing with nick drake like just You know it you can't help but think of the album in terms of this guy's life Elliot smith goes to hampshire college in amherst massachusetts makes the band heat miser okay while He's in heat miser he is now living in portland and he comes out with this kind of guitar and Soft voice music he's recording it on a ford track and in a friend's apartment and it's so Opposite this is 1997 this is so opposite the grunge that's big in the northeast at the time

[50:00]He said that going to going out to play an acoustic show in the northwest was like Crawling on a limb of a tree and begging it for it to be sawed off like you just you it wasn't the Kind of music everybody was into on this album elliot smith plays all the instruments themselves After this album comes out he hits it big the friends have intervention for alcohol abuse at The same time gus van zandt says also from portland by the way the director says i love this music i'm Gonna put three of your songs into goodwill hunting including a song called i think mercy me Which is not on this album but it's one he performed at the academy awards and basically They said we want you to play no miss misery sorry they said we want you to play this at the Academy awards and he says i don't want to and they said okay we'll get another artist to play it And he's like okay fine i'll play it which i think is so it's so nasty to do to some small Indie artist oh it's disgusting And then yeah and then after this the music comes out at people it it's actually a kind of a

[51:00]Big hit like nationwide elliot smith at the time you know nme knew who he was like all these Magazines knew he was he wasn't like totally like he was sort of a critical darling in a way Was his heat miser music was heat miser this kind of band were they i don't know let's listen To their story heat miser i don't know what did you know about elliot smith before by the way heat Miser i think it's the devil there's no space i didn't know much i remember the when it's when From a basement on a hill was coming out i remember reading about that and maybe even Downloading it from a music blog here's heat miser i i have never heard of wow elliot smith Until this episode did you think he was british russell i had no idea what to expect i had never Heard of him kind of sounds british doesn't it yeah for sure what did you i i've never i don't

[52:00]Know that i this seems like the kind of music i would like i mean let's get into it right but Like here's speed trial so he actually recorded this in the friend's apartment On a four-track recorder now it might surprise you i got my hands on a multi-track recorder When i was in high school and i loved it that might shock you guys good one now Didn't we try to record a podcast once on the multi-track recorder it didn't work out i know It worked out fine here could have been anyone's fault well yeah we don't we don't do it anymore Because nobody liked recording the podcast we would rather be gambling or hiking we're not sure Yeah you get it i mean to me this is exactly what my pandora station is this is nice music right like This is good the only thing is i do think it can get a little atonal sometimes or like a weird There's a weird tonality the whole album yeah i hear that like you don't know what pitch he's Actually singing right he's kind of like somewhere in between the pitches always But i think like so many songs on that pandora station i have i think if you hear him like a

[53:00]Hundred times and now when i'm catching in headphones he's got the vocals double tracked Right he's got one in each yeah here that's kind of true yeah i mean that's the thing is that he I think it's interesting him playing all the instruments i do think this album is well Produced for the most part it's interesting sonically interesting alameda about alameda Street in portland i don't know if you've heard of alameda street in portland i don't know if you've Ever heard of alameda street in portland i don't know if you've heard of alameda street in portland That's where he spent most of his youth guys if i had to name a song after the street you spent Most of your youth on what would it be i asked the question i'll go first for me skyline lane Wow that's what the song would be called what a great street to live on doesn't that just Sound fun living on skyline lane that sounds like a rich guy street That was skyline drive okay if you went down skyline drive forget about it those houses were Rich as hell the real posh people lived in skyline court Oh well it was confusing because the other side of town there was a water slide called skyline

[54:00]Raceway and so sometimes people thought i lived at the water slide and they were very disappointed When they came over because it was one of those water slides where like when you got older and You went down it you're like oh this isn't safe like this was constructed in a time where water Slides were not constructed safely the amount of water going down was too much the curves were too Sharp you're going too fast we would just go and then stop in the middle of it we just put our hands Up and stopped everybody smashed into us and we thought it was so funny i had not heard of elliot Elliot smith here before we did the podcast but one person who did was beck he's a big fan of Elliot smith they're kind of coming out at the same time right he actually covered after he Passed away he covered this song alameda rob i think i gave it to you if you want to queue it up Oh no i didn't know you sent me any email at all that's interesting that's an interesting fact to me Did you put in the email russell i think all of Rob's emails are from jennifer and start don't do not look at my email is a mess i

[55:00]Book of the month i didn't do any of these songs russell we can skip them no no Russell the alameda one absolutely not we're not skipping it we're editing it Beck said needless to say he was one of the best songwriters of our day and a formidable musician The good thing about Smith's songs that they're so well Made, they're so crafted and meticulous, they can Weather even the most feeble rendition. Oh, so Beck played this at a, concert After he had passed away. But then actually there's other people that have Compared their music a lot. And I give you another song, Rob. I believe this song is called Junkbond Trader. Check out the song by Elliot Smith. This is from a different album. So you hear that. Yeah. And now the song, a lot of people say that Beck was

[56:00]Kind of, inspired by from this. If you go Dear Life by Beck. This one, that is so much more like musical to Me or like Melodious. Doesn't that sound really similar? Yeah, I hear it. I, I, I hear a lot of Beck in this. Now, how far apart really in truth, like where is Odley relative to either or, or I mean, maybe Odley's Not the one, but it's the Odley is 96 or C change, C change is probably the one that's more influenced By either or. This is Odley is two years after this. Yeah. The change is. Whoa. No, no, no, Odley's before this, right? No, 96. Either or is, oh yeah, it's 97. I'm sorry. You're totally right. Yeah. It's before. Oh, that's interesting. And C change is 2002. So that's five years after he was obviously a big Fan of Elliot Smith. So I got to see when it comes to being inspired

[57:00]And giving an homage to Elliot Smith, who did It better? Beck did it better. See, that was the same voice. Russ used the double F word earlier. You're going to do a lot of both of those. I might give a lesson. You guys make a good podcast. Ballad of big nothing. Now listen to the song starts. He's talking about growing candy out into the Crowd on a parade. Have you guys ever been in a parade before? Yeah, in my hometown for like the summer parade Or whatever. Like, but anybody could just back in the little League or the little league. Yes. So my, my neighbor growing up, one of the Complimentary movie guys, dads, he was the Uncle Sam in all the July 4th grades in Like the Apple Valley, Eagan area. So he had the full stilts. He had the one outfit. He had stilts that were like six, eight

[58:00]Feet high. So he was doing the walking through wear and Stilts as uncle Sam. But I bet he did it for 10, 15 years. Did he have a big white beard? Oh yeah. They had the whole kid. He was a full uncle Sam. Look at mother fucker. Holy cow. Did you ever ask him to hold some Elmer's and then it's like, you'd say Like, we want glue. You know what I mean? Like do like, we want. If he was going to have sex with somebody, Do you think he'd say, we want goo? Uncle Sam he's pointing at Like a naked woman. We want goo. What? Not me guys, please. Before I kill again, I'm giving you all the Clues. Why won't you stop me? I do, but I feel like a serial killer Right into the police. There were a next step. Just laid out right in front of you. We want. Okay. But your foot, right? You're right. Let's go. Checks rhymes with goo. What purple link behind the Between the bars. This was on Goodwill Hunting.

[59:00]I don't remember. I think this was during the fun. This was during the funny part. Oh, yeah. Was this on the list, man, of best Soundtracks? Should we talk about this? Oh, I think Goodwill. It was like 90s. Yeah, I think there was when he's This is what he's hanging out with. What's her name? Mindy. Yeah. Mini driver. Part of the movie that we didn't Care about any time. Many drivers there is like, who cares? We want to see this guy do math And like be smarter people. Don't give us this shit about. Does he have a girlfriend? I think there was another one from, I don't know if it was Miss Misery Or whatever the other song name. I don't think it was on the album, But that's the one that won like best Yeah, best song or got one Academy Award. We play that one. Yeah, I was going to ask you to play it. Let's see. But first, I want to show you This picture of the Hulkster's Monster. He played this at the Academy Awards. He won like best original song Or something. And people were fucking sad in 1997. Right. Just everybody's just people are

[1:00:00]Pumped out in the late 90s. Can you imagine? Like you just had Bill Clinton stuff Going on and everybody's like, Boy, this is as bad as it's going to Get. Can't get worse of this. But I don't know. Yeah. Geez, the president is having sex In the only lot of pictures of me. Now, this one did remind me of Now, Replacement Sky. Listen up, because to me, this Kind of sounded like the Beatles. Like if I told you this is a Beatles song, would you kind of Be like, oh, that makes sense To me. Aaron, I will take you over that Wife swap and bring it up. And I edit out all the time. OK, but you know what? It's going to be a wife swap of The minds. An intellectual mind swap. Yeah, wife mind swap. Rob, can you imagine you show up At a party or you bring your Little girls when they were kids And it's a it's a wife swap Of the minds?

[1:01:00]What a bummer. I've got a box of condoms. I'm like, I don't even. What are these for now? How would they go over at Coles Resort? He tried to hold that money. Oh, I'm sure. Yeah, hey, I've got my Kierkegaard. Yeah, either or you're Going to fuck me or not. Like what's going on here? Oh, this is a wife swap. Only going to be started about Moral relativism at a wife Swap. No name number five. Not going about biting his Fingernails here. You guys bite your fingernails. I'm a big fingernail biter. I'm not as bad as I used to be. No, that one gives me the creeps. Really? Yeah, I don't mind if other people Would have a problem that I Couldn't chew fingernails. No, I used to do it all the time. I've stopped lately and now I Have to trim them, which I'm Very proud of myself for. Great. It's progress. Now I want to chew them. Just think about it. You guys get grossed out Watching other people chew Nails or like you chew your Nails? No, me chewing my own. I just couldn't do it. Are you keeping your nails clean

[1:02:00]Guys? Watch my hands. Watching my hands. We already went over this Route that you don't like Washing your hands a week. That's not that's not what I Said. What I said was when you're Digging around in there, you Don't have to. I don't think you should have To after number one, but I Still do. But you know, it's like you Don't have like dirt under Nails. I'll take a picture of Like me holding. I think more pictures of me Holding cans of things than You would imagine in my life. And my nails are always just Dirty enough for where I'm Like, I have to not show This nail. Like I don't know. I need to get one of those Like kits what I Mean with various picks and Stuff that I can put under There. Oh, I'm more Concerned with like ear and Nose hair. Like when am I supposed to do That? I need one of those kits. Yeah, it's happening. We don't we can't make this an Old man. That's happening to me. And I've got to deal with That. Aaron, you want to see what Happened to me? Look at this. Maybe you guys haven't Noticed yet. Look at this disaster struck Me. Thanksgiving break. I decided to. First of all, I trimmed my Beard. You're clean shaving. Yeah. Right. And then I trimmed my

[1:03:00]Mustache and it got too Short. Oh, and I looked like I Looked like somebody Michael Jordan. I look like somebody who you Would not want around your Daughter. I know it wasn't no, it wasn't Short like from the size Russell. I did not have the Michael Jordan. Oh, like too short. There's like the length of The mustache. Well, hold up. Hold up, Rob. You think the old mustache Gave you a look that would Want people around their Daughter? Nope. Yeah, I was kind of like a Time selling. Rob, Aaron's laughing way too Hard at that, don't you think? Yeah, people constantly Asking me like, hey, You're just going to hang out With my daughter. It made me. That's a nice looking full Mustache. Hey, you, sir, with the Mustache. I'm bringing her to volleyball After after dinner. Like, what do we do? We can squat a lot. Why don't you come out? Obviously, you're obviously a Private eye detective. When you're done with that, Why don't you come on over And hang out with my daughter? My daughter has for a copy. No, this was not a good Somebody. Take my way. Please. This was a negative daughter Mustache where I trimmed it Not too short, but too thin.

[1:04:00]You know what I mean? Like it was just Fuzz on there. So I was like, OK, time to Shave the mustache. Now I did like a Matt Dillon in Something about Mary kind of Thing. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, I shaved it. Look at what I did to my face. Look at this. Oh, no, he took a whole chunk Of there. I was shaving the mustache for The first time in years. I shaved it. A piece of skin the size of my Pinky nail, which someone Under there, the size of my Pinky nail just got shaved. And as soon as I did, I was Like, oh, that's a bad cut. And sure enough, now I have a Scab that's come in on my Face where I didn't have a Mustache before. Guys, this is and now do you know What my face? You know what my number one Facial feature is now that I've Shaved my mustache? Eyebrows, bags under my eyes. The only thing that has color to My eyebrows, too, eyebrows, I Think I do look younger, though. I look way younger. Yeah, that's why maybe you Will get a chance with somebody's Daughter. You have a prominent forehead, Rob, a prominent woman's head.

[1:05:00]Thank. Aaron laughed at that one. I got to get this mustache back. This is a disaster. It's an absolute disaster. Oh, and then guess what? When I move my mouth now, Guess what happens to the scab? It pulls off and it bleeds. So I came back today from being In public for like three hours. The whole thing was bloody. I had no idea. So I was walking around with a Bloody face. Can't tell. Absolute disaster. Rose Parade. Now, listen. This is the second time I've This is the second song That this guy has. About parades. I was thinking we've got a Parade ribbon already, right? Yeah. We already had a throwing out Candy thing. And the weird thing is, Is that this music is like The opposite Of music that you would think of With parades. Right. If you went to a parade, You heard this music and be Like, what is this?

[1:06:00]I mean, this you can't hear This album, but anything Other than a cry for help now Once you know. Yeah. And it sounds like he's just Really trying to paint that Picture of a person who's like, Well, I went to the parade Because it's what people do. And I don't know how to be a Human. And so sad. Yeah. If you went or you could Think of it like this. What if you went to the parade And one of the floats was For euthanizing pets? I think this would be a song That would be coming out of That float, right? Like everybody else is like That, that. And then the euthanizing Pets float comes down And you're like, yeah, It's kind of a boat. Here's your parody song. Oh my God. That'd be great. But it made me think. Good thing I didn't invite Aaron To my Thanksgiving dinner This last week. Six and a half candidates. Okay. I'm off to the parade. I'm driving the euthanizer Pets float. See you guys later. Don't think about me. But guys, I thought to Myself, what is the best music For parades? I made a list. Parade list. Parade list on the Elliott Smith episode. Now we're going to play a Special game during this

[1:07:00]Segment. And this game is Rob made this list when he was High. Okay. So by the end of this list, You have to guess that if Last night at about 8 30 p.m. When I made this list, I super baked. Okay. And did I go off into some Weird places? What was Rob baked enough Where he ignored my list of The G bail and made his own List? Yes. He was high. I didn't ignore it. I don't check my email. Use your list. But I got high. I never check my email. Look at all these unopened Emails. My email. I was going to copy your YouTube clips. But I got high. God, I hope that's on the List. That would be such a fun Parody song to make. Number one best parade Song. I thought of it without even Looking it up. Okay. I got this top five List. And I know why. When you think of a march. This is what you think of From the music man.

[1:08:00]110 Cornets Right behind. You know this? It took my place as the one And only baby. You can talk. You can talk. You can bicker. You can bicker. You can talk. You can talk. Now listen. The more you listen, though, The more you realize this March doesn't really sound Like a good march. Okay. And somebody has been Researching a parade list For a long time. Okay. I'll tell you what. And that's because they're Not it's it's like it's For a musical. It's a facsimile of a march. It's not even a real march. And we're going to get to What some real marches are. But then I went to Google And I typed in best parade Music. And you know the number one Song to come up? Very Moon. Already in the U.S. Sometimes it snows in April. It's that Google A.I. Shit. When Google is giving me A.I. Results, it pisses me Right off at those results. You guys know what I'm Talking about? Is that the worst Thing possible? It's frustrating. I hate it. Look what Google A.I. Thinks is great parade Music. Listen to this.

[1:09:00]What the fuck are they talking About? This is type in best Parade music. This is the number one song To come up. I mean, the great song. I mean, if I was on my Euthanized your pet float And I was playing this, I think it would be. We haven't heard this on The list, have we? What? Is this on pets? Yeah. Yeah. This is on pets. I tricked myself Into thinking about it. This song is so good. Now it is possible I Didn't see the right Song. Instead, they meant this. This would be a better Parade song. Now, when I Want to remind you, we're Playing the game. It was Rob high when he Made this. I mean, yeah, you're Making those associations. Your mind is in other Dimensions. So then I had to do Some Google food. I finally started typing In best parade March songs. And I came up with This guy named. Now you may have never Heard of this guy. Okay. John Phillips. He made Russell. Think about this. A hundred and thirty-six Marches. Can you imagine what he was Like at home where he's Just like, okay.

[1:10:00]Okay. Write this down. That that Pump pump pump Pump pump. Like he'd just be Making up marches. Can you imagine his Hundred thirty-sixth Best March? Like what do you think That sounds like? It's got to sound Terrible, right? A bad March. Probably about as good As the bodyguard Soundtrack. 101. John, that would be A great soundtrack, by the Way. It was just John Phillips Suza. You're Matt Damon. This shit's easy for me. I wish you could see What I could see. I could see this. This shit's easy for me. And then all of a sudden Just right away. What kind of accent was that? I was going to say, That's a great accent. You're listening to Goodwill Hunting. It's just this. It would be a totally Different movie. That Goodwill Hunting Is from Austria. My way of California. Yeah. Good eye, Mike. A lot of people Think I'm really good At accents. Another shrimp on the Bobby. What I love is that When you look up Why are you going to go see About a girl? How do you like them apples? This is Semper Fidelis.

[1:11:00]This is a song. John Phillips Suza wrote when he was Listening to the Marines Singing at Quantico And he started crying. That's how every Biography of a Suza march Goes is that he Listens to something. He cried and he Wrote a march about it. That's to me, That's the third best March you can have At a parade. Okay. Number two. This is a parade song. This is a parade song. Now, when you hear 76 Trombones compared to this, This is so much better. Listen to this. This is the Washington Post march, The Jeff Bezos march. Hey, Aaron. Yeah. Do you think the Washington Post march, Who did they say Should be president this Year? They wouldn't, They refused to say. They refused to say Just in case somebody Got in charge That could hurt One of their other Businesses. Russell, is this An all time march to you? Pretty damn good march. I mean, this is when You hear this, You know there's a parade Going on. First comment on YouTube though, This fucked me up. First comment. Believe it or not, This played on Iranian radio

[1:12:00]When the Shah was in power And I loved it as a kid. Do you think John Philip Sousa Wrote this march? That's fascinating. For it to be Played in Iran For the Shah Over the radio? I don't think so. Guys, this is the Number two greatest Parade music of all time. And at number one, Okay? John Philip Sousa Led the Marine Band back to New Heights Of Perperlarity During his 10 years Leader from 1880 to 1892 Was during this era, He earned the title The March King. Now check this out. Stars and Stripes Forever. This is the all time Best parade song ever, Right? It feels like It's just on a loop For parades, right? Like you just keep going. Right, just play it Over and over. Now, what I love About John Philip Sousa songs on YouTube Is check this out. There is a guy, He runs the Marine Band And they play All of John Philip Sousa songs. Now, they do not, They play it sitting,

[1:13:00]Which is kind of sick. Like if you were In an auditorium, Watching a bunch of marches, I think you're, They go to blow your mind. But watch this, This guy comes out And explains beforehand. John Philip Sousa Led the Marine Band to New Heights Of Perperlarity During his 10 years Leader from 1880 To 1892. It was during this era That he earned the title The March King. I mean, he said Some smart shit there. That guy, I reckon this guy, When Leo had to Pick out an instrument to play. Yes. You know, so they were like, Okay, well, here's all The different instruments You do for band. This guy was explaining All the individual Instruments. So I've got the Alex. It was the The Marine marching band That was, They were the ones That were doing All the different instruments. And Matt, I agree, Guys, what a great list. I really like that. That, I've heard that song Before it's got a great Piccolo section. Yes. Completely in the comments. 100%. Yeah. Yeah, you saw the comments,

[1:14:00]The comments on that video. What do you mean? No, I didn't see any. I just remember The piccolo section was awesome. The comments in that Are so nasty. They're like, Oh, the piccolo section Is actually in tune And the trombone can Double tongue. I'm like, Jesus Christ, There's a band People on YouTube. Hey, guys, if you think I'm going to edit that out, Russell, When are we doing your When we doing your list? What are you supposed To be doing yours? Well, I would have done it On that one because that was About the Rose Parade, Which is in Portland. And I was going to do a list About the best bands There we go. Here we go. It's a list off. Okay. Now, We're going to play a game. Was Russell high When he made his list? Let's see. Okay. I may or may not Have had a THC cocktail. The other night, Which I've never really had Before. Okay. Oh, It tasted terrible Didn't it, Russell? Taste wasn't a worry. I think the problem is I probably shouldn't mix An espresso martini With a THC drink. I think it's like

[1:15:00]It's got my wires A little cross. That is messed up, Russell. That is like Could you find your room? I could. I could find my room All night, But I was reading That the THC, Like for some people Can cause like paranoia And stuff like that. I don't think These are good things for me. I think there's a brain A brain thing with me That is not good. Yeah. But Russell, What if somebody is coming To get you? You don't realize it. This is just informing I can actually save Your life. Okay. So think about that As you go to sleep tonight. All right. So we've talked before With a sleeter Kenny, I believe is a Portland Based band and Aaron, You went to Portland. I believe you stayed In the roughest Town. I stayed downtown. They told me don't stay Downtown. And I stayed there. Yeah. Wow. That's the night We recorded with replacements Guy. I was in Portland. You love Portland. So I figured we could Honor some of the best bands Ever from Portland. Yeah. One of the ones

[1:16:00]We won't get to Is it the Kingsman, I believe Louis. Are they are from Portland? They're from Portland, Which I thought was Interesting, but the first Band on our list Is Paul Revere And the Raiders. The song is Interesting. Really? Yes. I thought these were A British band. Yeah. 100%. I thought these guys Were a British invasion For sure. Mark Lindsey's voice On this is awesome. They were inducted Into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in 2007, The same year As Elliot Smith. Wow. Really? Wow. Interesting. Boy. One of the bands, Next song on the list, One of the bands That did play at that, That was the inaugural Oregon Music Hall of Fame And another band that played At that Is the band Everclear. Oh, that's so good. Santa Monica. Her, my only life. Here we go. This is who I would ask. You could take, Get rid of googly dolls Until they have the rights. Yes. I like how this song Was totally different Than the other song Father of Mine. When you play them Back to back, They definitely don't sound

[1:17:00]Like the same song. Who cares if you Land on a sound That's pleasing? Everclear is touring Right now, I think. Yeah. Bad air song, When they're singing About the West Hills, That's a little nod To Portland right there From Everclear. Wow. Next band on the list, This is one of Matt's favorite. This is kind of like An indie rock household name, I think, right, Matt? That's Modest Mouse. The song has flowed on. Oh, yeah. Yep. Oh, this is so good. I believe they began in Washington, Spent most of their time In Portland And Jeremiah Green. I was one of the, I think the lead guy From Modest Mouse Was really good friends With Elliott Smith. And actually, The guitar player From Modest Mouse, Jim Fairchild, Was in Elliott Smith's Touring band at one point. Oh, wow. So another Portland connection There. Wow. Yeah, They play that very, They do not like Playing it very much anymore, But they know that They have to play. Right. I mean, They have to.

[1:18:00]Yeah. So they kind of play A different version of it, Not a all out. We're not going to Like end the show with it Or start the show. They just kind of play it Mad. You go to a concert. They don't play it. What would you say? They opened up for, I think, Weezer Recently, Like, At the Armory. I saw them recently. I forget. I think it was Weezer. So, Yeah. So I have seen them, But I like, Yeah, I like their work. They do good, They do good stuff. I just, I think I love bands From Portland. I've loved all of these So far. Check out the next one. This is the Dandy war Halls. The song is Bohemia Dandy war halls. Fun song though. Why do you say that? Because I don't know That I know, I know the name of the band, The Dandy war halls. And I know this song, But I wouldn't have named Any single Dandy war halls Song. I didn't know that was Who did this song, But I know the song. Rob, Weren't you talking about That Elliot Smith formed An indie rock band As a heatmeister? What was the one you were

[1:19:00]Talking about at the Beginning? Heatmeister. And actually, One of the people that They started playing with In school was a guy named Dandy. So I thought that was Interesting. And another interesting Thing, The Dandy war halls Also had a song On the Goodwill Hunting soundtrack. So there's obviously some Linked to Portland. Is that your fault, Rob? Yeah, it's not your fault, Rob. Gus Vanzani is from Portland. I thought it was a pretty Cool song too. This is the kind of music I wish my kid would get Into it. Or like they're finding Up and coming bands And going to see them When the tickets aren't $300 at Madison Square Garden. Well, If she was going to Get into new bands, Rob, She might have learned Some new slang. Wow. And she'd be listening To the Shins, Which is the last band On the list. Oh, the Shins. Man, Where is Garden State On that Best soundtrack? I didn't see it. It's got to be way Out there. It's one of the best. This is on the Garden State soundtrack. That part of the Garden State soundtrack, Right, Rob? So good. That whole soundtrack

[1:20:00]Is so good. This is my Pandora Station right here. This song comes up All the time. This is a song That I would love to ignore. What? I mean, Here. It's a very pleasant song That I could put on. You mean that in a good way? Yeah. What the fuck? How can you mean that In a good way? I'm just like, I'm making a grilled cheese In this song. It's fine. Background. Yeah. Wow. Wow, wow. Frontman James Mercer Knew Elliot Smith Or was kind of influenced To men at one point. This is crazy. He actually bought The southeastern Portland house That Elliot Smith recorded Roman Candle in. So this house he was living in When he recorded Roman Candle, This guy, The lead singer from the Shins Ended up buying it Like 20 years later And didn't even know it. Kind of wild, huh? Number 66, Rob, Is number 66 Above Goodwill Hunting, Which was at 77. It feels like some influence There, don't you think?

[1:21:00]To some extent, A little bit of a similar Sound. Right? 100%. Oh, Russell, That was a great list. That's a list. The top one list. That's a top list. Those are some pretty good bands From Portland, right? Russell, What if a band named themselves After a Portland basketball Player? Wouldn't that be crazy? Terry Porter's? Oh, the Mookie Blacock. Wasn't that what there was? That's from the Seattle Sonics. Oh. Where it was? The Clifford Robinsons? Movie. The Greg Odins? Yeah, who's the guy? The guy from Ohio State. The Brandon Roy Randy Foy trade? Oh. I just say this right now, Russell, I apologize for not reaching out To see if you're doing a list Because your list Beat my list ass. Okay. I marched all over your list. Oh my God. You guys. Function Judy. Good list. I'll never go list To list against Russell again.

[1:22:00]That was crazy. I got a list now. Okay. Top groups from Portland, Maine. Oh, they're Maine. Top of Portland, Maine bands. What are the main places In the United States? Is there a couple of real Maine bands? Yeah, something called The Fog Cutters And Six Gig and Stains, Maine. The Fog Cutters. Let's see. The Fog Cutters. One of the top. Oh boy. It's all live videos. A lot of people in there. What is going on here? Is it a ska? Is this a ska? This is crazy. I like this. Okay. Man, what's another great Band out of Portland, Maine? Is this the best time We've heard all night? I don't know. Do you hear that march? Why did you both march? Cruel hand. Cruel hand. Cruel. Like, cruel intentions. Ah, cruel hand.

[1:23:00]Like, cruel hand, Luke. A cruel... This whips ass. From Portland, Maine? This is decomposed. Yes, fuck, yes, fuck, yes. This kicks ass. Wow, this is very different From the Fog Cutters. One more. You need one more for a list. The rustic overtones. And you overtones singing. Now that would be some shit. If that happens... I can hear it in the background. I'm the one over there in Portland. Man. You know what, man? This is the number two. This is the second best list of the night. Wow. Well, yeah. Yeah. Don't make Russell feel bad, But man, that was a great list. Great list. How about let's go one more. The Stains. The Stains?

[1:24:00]Let's just see what the Stains is. The Stains? What says the Los Angeles? Yeah, the Stains and then Put Maine next in parenthesis. Maine. The Stains. Maine. Oh, yeah, you do. Every one of them, the Stains. Maine. Sick of being sick. Stains, Los Angeles. Oh, this is from 1980. Nice. Hey. Could we be going coast to coast From Portland to Portland Just to listen to music? Yeah, it's a hot bit. This is so good. God damn. Man. Wow. That was a top two list. Easy. Three lists. If George, if John Philip Sousa Is from Portland, That's going to be crazy. Okay. So somebody look that up And see if that's true. Punch and Judy. I got one more list. Yes. It's a one song list, Rob. This is best songs On an FX show That I've seen that sound Like Elliot Smith to me.

[1:25:00]The song is... The show is called Tough Chef About a bunch of bikers Who are also chefs. Who's doing stuff? I'll have to get that one later. I don't have enough. Angeles. My head. This song I loved. This is not Good Will Hunting 2. Yeah, the guitar stuff here Is really nice. This is crazy Because if you think about Elliot Smith... This one he's driving away At the end. Going up the hill. Oh, wow. Gotta go see about a girl. I don't watch sad movies Anymore. Always piss me off. That movie pissed me off So much. What's up? What movie? Good Will Hunting 2. Hi. Yeah, he should have Stuck around and done more math. I like the math. I like where he was doing The math. He was just doing math. I would. But then he went up to Vegas And went to Atlantic City And worked Johnny Chan, The master in poker. Sign me up. It's great. Then he went with his brother Who he hadn't seen in 20 years And they drove out to Vegas And they were counting cards. Yeah. So he could... His brother's business

[1:26:00]Could come back Because he was sure. Yeah. And something about the baby Bathwater. And then he became an angel That fell from grace. And then... Then he bought a zoo. Oh. And then you got high And went and saw a vanilla sky. And that messed you up For a long time. Speaking of paranoid. Whoa. I got done with that movie And I was like, What happened there? He had no... He had no face at the end. He bit strict. It's crazy to think That he went right from Recording into somebody's Apartment to Literally the songs After this album He's recording with DreamWorks. Like, who's the famous Movie composer, Alf Klossin or whatever? Like, he was making songs With him. Like, it's crazy. I'm sorry. Kenny Loggins? No. No. Who did all those songs? Famous movie composer. Are you going to give him Danny Elfman? Danny Elfman. Danny Elfman. You nailed it. Okay. By the way, If that guy looked Like a troll, That would be crazy, Wouldn't it? Alfman, And he looks like a troll.

[1:27:00]He does look like a troll. 2.45 a.m. Uh-oh. My lights turned off again. That's all that was Happening. Hey. Pull up. Pull up a picture of Danny Elfman quick. Okay. Does Danny Elfman Look like a troll? I promise you'll enjoy it. Let's see. Look at that. He does. He kind of looks like an elf. Danny Elfman. Like an elf character. He's like Alf Klossin. For sure. This is Danny Elfman. Russell, look at Danny Elfman. Look into his eyes. I mean, He's got to be good at Writing music Or he would get no air. I bet his name was Like Danny Smith And they were like, Nope, you're Danny Elfman. You're an elf, man. That one below the one With his shirt off, Taking a picture. Click on that one. We're down here. This one. One below it. Look at that one. God damn. He's got the tribal tattoos. Oh my God. Chocolate brother. The nerdiest of the nerds Who adds the tribal tattoo In some like Failed attempt At being tough

[1:28:00]Props. I can't make the Simpson song right now. I'm getting a Tribal tattoo. Yes. This one was fun. I like this. He said he wrote the song In five minutes During the episode Of Xena Warrior Princess. Wow. If that doesn't date This album, I don't know what does. Rob, pull up. Pull up. The Lost Boy. Greg Holden. You too. This is the Time I would, I'd get the vibe Of this album And I like it. This is the song I would want to hear Sung by a real Voice. I agree. I think this is a This is a great song And I love the way This one is produced. I think it's beautiful. The Lost Boy. Yeah. Check this song out. So I heard this. So when I'm here This Elliot Smith, I thought of this song And I was like, What is that song?

[1:29:00]Because I thought it Sounded pretty similar To what we're listening to. And it was from The FX show Sons of Anarchy. Oh, this is Sons of Anarchy. Sons of Anarchy. Rob, FX trivia In your face. Yeah. And you know what? Sons of Anarchy Makes me think of Katie Segal Which of course Makes me think of Married with Children. Oh, that is a connection. Okay. And you're going to Have to wait One week, Joe To see why We're talking about Married with Children On this episode. But right now We got to get to the Reading system. It's popular. It's banded. It's gotten brought up On this podcast already. Russell, Is there any way You can turn your lights on? I cannot handle having Hostage video, Russell. It's like Nothing I can do. They're going to stay Off on a timer for a while Now. I can't do anything

[1:30:00]Is something I could do. I will send you Pieces of their finger For the next week If you don't send us A million dollars. I would not be A good hostage guy Because I'd be like, All right, What do you got? All right, I probably get bored Even keeping on Talking about it. Listen, This is the popular And padded Rating system. We've already talked About it. Is this album At 216 on the list? Is this perfect? Yeah, It's kind of lo-fi. Yeah, It's sad. But guess what? It was in Good Will Hunting, A movie that Literally everyone In the United States Can quote. If you are over 40, 35, If you're over 35, You know Good Will Hunting. Guaranteed. It's like A cultural thing. It's like not knowing What the time to play The game guy is On TikTok now. You have to know This stuff. Time to play the game, Triple H. See, Russell, This is where You got to be. This is, See, but there's a guy Who sings it on TikTok.

[1:31:00]So you got to Get into the meta now. You got to get on TikTok. You got to spend Three to four hours a Day on there, Like I am over the Thanksgiving break here. It's kind of rotten My brain away. Listen, Is this a rolling Well-toned? Rolling boned. It should have been Higher up on the list. Okay. This is one of the Greatest movie Soundtracks of all time. I would say If we were going to Make a list, It should be higher On the list. That would be a Rolling boned Or is this a Rolling Should be lower On the list. Not this high. Matt, What do you think Rolling well-toned Rolling boned Or rolling grown? Excuse me. I just I'm failing To hear This is Just it feels like Every college album That came out of The 1990s, I guess, Somebody who had a Little bit of a College angst, I guess. So it's Not for me. I don't know. I would listen to it Again. I'm thinking with Aaron

[1:32:00]Where I'd like to Have it on the background And forget about it If you will, Because it's just good Music to have Out of the background. But do I think It belongs up here? No, I don't. I don't understand Why it's up here. Is it boned? No. Rolling grown. Rolling grown. Rolling grown. It would be way down On the list. Higher notes. Now, Matt, Here's the thing, right, Is this is not A college vibe album, Right? If you had this album on... It kind of is. But you've got some knives. You've got a knife. You've got a knife To cut some cake in the room. Your college vibes Are very different, I think, Than our college vibes. We've disagreed On every college Vibe album For weeks, though. This is literally On Good Will Hunting, Where he's dating A college student. Yeah. And That's the whole thing. I mostly watch the Math birds. I'm not going to lie. Other fun. So I don't know. I don't get it. I mean,

[1:33:00]There's We're going to hear So many more out. It's the fact that, Like, 16 stones By Bush, This is kind of The same thing. Oh, yeah. It's not on. And this one is, Like, I don't get it. So I'm going to say Yes. No. Yes. Rolling grown, man. This is so simple. My way we break albums. Russell, What do you think? Rolling well toned. Russell was Currently fixing the Headlight on his car. Russell, Rolling well toned, Rolling boner, Rolling grown. What do you think? I'm going to go A similar route, Man. To me, This is perfectly Pleasant music. I could have this on. I could Be making dinner, Making brunch, Put it on in the car. Plenty of places To listen to things. To listen to this music. It's very pleasant. It's enjoyable. I think it's well done. But we're talking About the 500 Greatest albums ever. Like some, At some point, You've got to have something That blows me away. You have to have something That's so unique and new. You have to have An amazing singer, Some amazing musicianship,

[1:34:00]Something that Something has to Knock your socks off. And I didn't get blown away By any aspect of the album. So while I like it, I enjoy it. I think it has a place And should be enjoyed By a lot of people. And I'd probably even recommend People listen to it. It didn't blow me away. To me, that means I don't think it should be This high on the list. So I'm going to say Rolling Grown, Similar to Matt. Aaron, what do you think? Rolling Well Tone, Rolling Bone Or Rolling Grown? 1997s, Either or. And disagree with these guys? I can't say it any better. I think it's a fun album. Maybe fun's the wrong word. It's nice to listen to. I like it. Maybe I didn't give it The right chance. There's probably some stuff In the songwriting That I'm missing. But it just, And I'll listen to it again. But I can't say it belongs Where it is. It's just not blowing me away. So I'm going to give it A Rolling Grown. Is it possible that Rolling Stone included This person on the list Because it makes them Look smart music wise? Of course. Okay. There we are. And that's why I think It should be on the list Because I'm also smart Music wise. A lot of people are saying That.

[1:35:00]I'm a real Albert Einstein. This gets a rolling. Unfortunately, you guys Are incorrect. Shit. This gets a rolling D'spondoned. D'spondoned. D'spondoned. D'spondoned. This is an album to listen to When you're sad And you want to hear someone Else who's sad. But not enough Where you want to actually Listen to their problems. God, I don't care what Bill Said to Oscar at work. Shut up. Oh, God. I should have said shut up. I didn't mean to say shut up. Okay. I was talking. I was talking to the video Game. Not about Oscar. What you meant to say Was relax. Relax. That's always a good Choice. Just like your mother. All right. Next up. Which would be great? Is there a second one? Bernie? Okay. I wish. Who's going to listen to this Episode? My wife or my mother-in-law? I wish she was like my Mother-in-law. Next up. This album was just Russell. What was the title Of the album we just did? Either or. The next one is called Definitely Maybe. Oh, my gosh. This is getting weird. I don't know.

[1:36:00]We're in the middle Of a Rolling Stone Listwriter bit. We're in the middle Of a Rolling Stone Listwriter bit. We're in the middle Of a Rolling Stone Listwriter bit. It's a dumb shit bit. It's the only reason these Two are next to each other Is because the song, The title, the album titles Are the same. And I know. Waffling. Guys, this is a dumb bit. And I would know. When you want to hear About the greatest Albums of all time. I just did a bit Earlier about parade songs. But you're just too lazy To look it up on line. I know a bit When I see it. Oh, no. You can't cut it. I feel like You brought it up again. I didn't say that. I think there's more meat On the bone about a guy Who writes parades. What his life is like. That did it better. I want this part to go Bop, bop. Why would I try the bit again? You know it's not going to work. Why don't you just play, You should play like Eight different Marching band songs To end this episode. So that lasts another 45 minutes To see who gets to the end.

[1:37:00]We could not get copyright Strict because of marching bands. Oh, that's true. We cannot. Although I would like to Do the worst march. You know what I mean? What is John? You know what? I thought it was 136. We already talked about it. Right? Sousa's worst march. Like, do you think there's One where it's like Tired and sleepy? In your opinion, what's the Worst? What's the worst Band read it? What's the worst Sousa March? Not even the band read it Episode. As a horn player. As a horn player. All of them. Wow. Okay. You know what they're Saying? King Cotton. Now this doesn't sound Like it's going to cause Any video that goes along with It. All right. Do you guys see why this Didn't make the list? Seems as good as the other 135. Right? Right. No. The first two comments. Oh, this is how it's Supposed to sound. And my favorite Sousa March. Well, that's the dog. This is the worst Sousa March. A lot of people don't

[1:38:00]Realize that. Do you think John Phillips Sousa was Still a murderer? That's why we know All three of his names. Oh, wrong place. Yeah. It's time to say. Goodbye. I have to say. If I wrote a song while Watching Xenia of Warrior Princess with a sound off, There would be a lot more Verses about trying to Jack off real fast. Oh, no. Hercules is on. No. Or no. Oh my God. And Sorbo. Yeah, it's Renegade. I made it all the way To Renegade. Damn it. Russell Renegade is kind Of the poor man's son's Of anarchy if you think About it.
