Beyonce: Beyonce (2013)

Beck Did It Better Podcast 2013
About this episodeThis week we are the best Beyonce podcast as we talk Beyonce's eponymous album...Beyonce! But before we get into the album we're discussing the best songs to get you in the mood and Aaron introduces us to an avant garde piece that all you parents will love. And the silence you'll hear, is not Lambeau field. In addition, Matt's looking for tips on taking your kids to Disney World, Russ is looking for hookah bar advice, and Rob wants to know, why do people say bless you (or gazoontite). Then Aaron tells us that he's a boss! Not a boss, like in an extremely cool way. But literally, a supervisor

[0:00]In 2024 friends decided to listen to every one of the greatest 500 albums as decided by rolling stone magazine this resulted in a text chain that celebrated the music excoriated the order and led us to making these podcasts yeah these podcasts good enough we are far from experts we promise to do almost no research man all opinions are our own unless you disagree well we have a separate podcast that you're not on russell it's really fun actually you should listen to it that's how lemonade happened have you not listened to the chronology of these albums you can't be stepping out on this podcast listen our podcast that examines this Podcast it gets thousands of downloads every week people love it all opinions are our own unless you disagree please sit back and enjoy beck did it better from 2013 this is album 81 the eponymous beyonce guys finally we have an album that tells me whether or not the artist would sit on my face oh okay no i think van morrison had a song about that but i wasn't it's it was kind of i think it was more of a metaphor is she talking about your face i don't think so speaking of

[1:00]Sitting on things let's listen to k-rob our favorite radio station they've been coming out with hit after hit of a very good songs and actually quite funny hit parade and it seems like maybe the profanity filter has kind of been taken off so let's let's listen to it here what's up everybody welcome to k-rob k-r-o-b you know what rob's favorite thing to do in the world is oh yeah it's time to take a bath uh-oh looks like i left a little mark oh no i've been bathing in the tub i'm floating just below the surface like a little Sub i've been in here about an hour i think i like baths i like them oh so much more than showers i get out i can see where my butt was when i was in the tub that won't do there's a mark there's a mark my butt touched the tub for some reason it is extra dark i'm red in the

[2:00]Face red in the face this is really bad because i'm at my sister's place oh no is this because i'm a fatty daddy oh no when i got under the tub there's a dark mark where my butt was touching oh no When you want to hear that is the best song you've ever done you know the key to writing this song is everybody has to relate to it and i think everybody can relate to seeing your butt and the marks in the tub totally relatable i've got the perfect i've got the perfect podcast you know here's the real problem better is that i'm gonna have to release the butt prints in the

[3:00]Tub picture on instagram so that song makes any sense to anybody that is of course when i took a bath at my sister's place and then when i got up i realized their tub just had two butt marks and i took a picture of it some of these guys and they did nasty things with it when i was in miami a few weeks ago i was in a nice hotel and my hotel had like a big nice tub it wasn't like a huge tub but it was a big favorite and i filled that fucker up and i got in it yes but i am not meant to be in a tub like my knees were sticking out there was water flowing over the edge When i got in i'm just not an exterior i'm not an experienced tuber at all that's because you hadn't heard this album yet you fill it up halfway and then beyonce rides on that surfboard fill the tub halfway that's what beyonce tells you oh don't get me started about trying to have sex on the tub again we've already talked about that it's cardboard on cardboard that's the thing beyonce gave us the blueprint you only fill it halfway we're going to talk about it we're going to get her husband gave us the blueprint too so here's the deal is that the key to a tub by the way russell's you spend part of your time sitting up so your legs are in

[4:00]And then you go submersive mode you put your legs up on the wall in front of you and you put your whole body underwater so you can't hear your family knocking on the door trying to get in because you only have one bathroom in your apartment and then you just alternate that and then what i do now is i empty and fill up the tub about three times so i'm just in there like when i'm in a tub i'm in there for like 45 minutes to an hour it is no joke it's like and i'm like oh this is for my power lifting but really it's because i'm playing like a new game on my switch or something so which part do you like more when you're when your legs are in or where your shoulders are in and your legs are out no it's Shoulders and head like my ears are underwater it's a whole thing when i was younger i used to get swimmer's ear all the time because i'm just taking baths i get ear infections and my parents like jesus christ and i was like 15 do normal size people their whole body fit in or not or is it just big guys where you don't all you don't fit in the body fits in a tub i mean like i fit in a tub i but not under all the water right i would never rent well no not all the way you don't fill it up first i mean our hello our comedies like you know it's like the thing is is like i would never like that's the first thing we

[5:00]Look at when i rent an apartment or or purchase a condo in new york city is i look at the size of the tub and if it's not big enough forget about it yeah the happiest i ever was is in vermont i had a jetted tub oh my god it was like heaven i loved it listen we are talking about no so so first of all those of you that know who i am and know what i look like just picture me in a tub with everything floating up and all these it's like a coat of many colors but it's body parts of different colors floating around so it's joseph and the other guys are like oh my god the amazing technicolor genitals grease up the arm looks like a hot dog but in the tub I wish it looked like a hot dog oh my god that'd be so great russell in minnesota russell how are you doing tonight i'm good rob i had a question for you when you're all alone by yourself and you're lying in your bed and the young man's game stares right at you are you happy with yourself oh i mean that's you're making so many assumptions there that i can like see stuff or like there's nothing blocking my vision or whatever yeah i can see it because i'm in age i'm in hd with my vr goggles on i got matt minneapolis matt

[6:00]How are you doing great it's been so long since we talked i can't wait to get into the cell we are on the end we are on the back end of a back-to-back tonight and unfortunately it did take me about an hour and a half to prepare while these guys were on the zoom so matt is extra grumpy but i got a feeling we might meet an old friend of ours we will see maybe get a couple phone calls see what celebrities have died what beloved celebrities have died that we could have call and i got aaron in california and aaron i agree with you what we were saying before the podcast The pandemic has made it really hard to cheat on your wife aaron how are you doing man i gotta say rob you mentioned celebrities who've died rest in peace to betty davis who is one of the original bad girls she died this week and she is the blueprint for what beyonce was doing on this album if our listeners are here for some soul surgery i'm here for them but rob let me sit this ass on you let's talk about beyonce oh aaron at least put your pants on when you say that she can't open up the door for me i'm here for you i'm here for you i'm here for you i'm here for you Open those Betty Davis eyes. She's dead. But that's a different Betty Davis.

[7:00]Different Betty Davis. Yes. The song about Betty Davis's eyes is a different Betty Davis than who just died the other day. Yes. Betty with an E is the Betty Davis eyes. Betty Davis who just died was one of the original funkstresses. Oh, that's right. She was married to Miles briefly. Yeah, Mary's Miles. I saw that. And she's got the song. He was a big freak. We put her album on today. She would put even Beyonce to shame. Well, maybe not. Maybe not on this album. But otherwise, she was the original Make You Blush kind of gal. So shout out to Betty Davis. I feel so bad because I've been sending Kim Karn unwanted emails about the Betty Davis eyes remake that I made about how she can't open her eyes because she's dead. But now I realize it's a different Betty Davis. So it doesn't make any sense. And she needs me. Do you like that poll, by the way, Kim Karn's Betty Davis eyes? I had nothing to say, Rob. That's so good. Aaron, which of us would you say has the closest to having Betty Davis eyes? Okay, let's get close. Let's get close to the Zoom. Let's show Aaron our eyes. Let's see it. It's Matt.

[8:00]You guys know Matt's the most handsome of us. Matt's got the best eyes. He does. Matt's the most handsome of us. Come on. Don't make me say it out loud. Jeez. It's totally true. All right. Let's get into our new voicemail. It's my ass. Dumb shit listeners. They can't even tell what we're doing. God, they're dumb. They are. It really is. It's something. All right. So today, because as our last caller pointed out, none of our listeners appear to have phones. Okay. They can't figure out how to get it. We were playing an Instagram. We got an Instagram message from our best friend, Music Mike. Oh, an Instagram message? Music Mike 76. Oh, yeah. By the way, he did not give us permission to use this, but guess what? We don't care. We're doing a lot of things without permission. I'm begging you all to share your sex playlists, three songs, early stages, ramping up, and TCB. I have to know the indie lo-fi jazz hip hop EDM trance, funk track that Aaron uses to cross the finish line. So that's a normal thing to ask, I think, is to think, to know a stranger that you're listening to over the podcast, you've never met them before, and you want to know what music gets

[9:00]Them in their mood to blow a fat load. And I think that's important for us to talk about. You know, when you're getting romantic you're with your lady or ladies in Russell's case, and you just want to know like or non-gendered person, whatever. Yeah, that's true. You know what? Yeah. If I was fucking some dude, like what soundtrack would I wanted to, if I was just going absolutely balls deep. And by the way, this is a Beyonce episode. She's mostly talking about sex. So if you've got kids in the car, just tell them to get out. Okay. Just stop the car. Tell me about it. Brian and Woodbury warning to Brian and Woodbury. Yeah. Your kids are going to learn some things that you probably don't want them to learn from uncle Rob. Okay. Just have lessons. Aaron, I noticed you didn't say, or if you're just not doing well in the dating seat and you're by yourself, I noticed you didn't make a, you didn't acknowledge those people too. That's true. We should be inclusive. I appreciate that. That's wonderful. So listen, we are going to do our first ever. Sex playlist. Okay. Where we have three songs each. We are starting with kind of, we, we just have, yeah, well, I guess it's, I don't know.

[10:00]Here's, here's the deal. It's not a draft music. I can't, well, I can't take your, I can't take your songs and playing while I'm doing it. Right. Cause then I would just be thinking like, Oh, Oh, this is what Aaron does it too. Like I can't, well, no, wait a minute. Maybe I can think about that. Now that I'm thinking about it, I kind of really like it. You know what, Russell, you're right. We do need some draft music for this. So let's play some music that I think would be right for our. Sex songs draft. Agree. Agree. Welcome to the first ever. Yes. You and your partner are getting in the bedroom. Things are getting hot and heavy. The kids are probably asleep or you lock the door and you're hoping that it's quiet enough. Oh, your wife fell asleep. You're putting in your headphones. What are you going to tune into to really get that feeling? So we've got three songs.

[11:00]One is going to be, pre kind of foreplay. One is going to be during the act and one is going to be as magic might call it TCB, which almost made me throw up when I read it the first time. So let's care of business or what does that represent? That is, yeah, that is taking care of business, which is some may, maybe sometimes that's how you have to do it actually. And I think it might be a, a physiological thing. It's not, it's normal too, for you don't have to. I just started. I started thinking of that yogurt company. That yogurt was the best, the TCB why yogurt? It literally was. It was the country's best yogurt. It was right there. It was the only label. Yeah. It's a yogurt. Congratulations. Remember you'd go and you'd be like, Oh, I'm feeling a little heavy. I better get some health food, get some yogurt. And you know what? Throw a throw. Can you throw approximately three tons of totally frozen M and M's on there? Ah, yes. I love the taste of totally frozen M and M's. I can't actually taste it. I'm going to get all the calories. None of the taste because yeah, it tastes like gravel going down, but for some reason I love it.

[12:00]But whatever. As a kid, I was desperate. So we let's start with Aaron for your foreplay song. What did you pick? Oh, my foreplay was, lost and looking by Sam cook off the night beat album, bring it on home to me. Isn't Sam cook bring it on home to me. Isn't that the big Sam cook song? Yeah, that's a great time. Cook song. But this is a little bit smoky. This is, imagine you're at the end of the night. You're finishing your nightcap. If smoking weren't bad for you, maybe you're sharing a cigarette, just one things down. Maybe you're about to kind of move things into the next room. Touching that. Do you have a smoking jacket here? And I can see you having a smoking. Ooh, I should have a smoking jacket. Sam will get you there. The whole one, the whole night beat album. It's a great prelude to all the action. Your kid's like, what are you wearing? And you're like, this is a smoking jacket. And he's like, what? He's like, what were you doing last night? And you're like, what are you wearing? And you're like, this is a smoking jacket. Yeah. All right. I've got Matt. What is your foreplay song? Hey, to be fair. I think this is the dumbest thing. Music. Mike magic. Like 69. Brought up. I'm playing along. And I don't even, what did I send you?

[13:00]Rob? Something by the way. Yeah. I'm playing along. And I don't even, what did I send you? Rob? This is a bad company. Oh, bad company. Oh yes. Yes. We'll just go, we'll just go right. We'll just go right for it. It's good. I mean, sometimes subtlety doesn't work. You gotta let somebody know what you're thinking. It's true. Isn't it? The longer you've been married, the more you just had to be like, Hey, are we doing this tonight or not? And it's like, no. And it's like, okay, time for me to go gamble on Chinese basketball leagues. Why didn't that Matt not pick bad company by bad company on the bad company album. Isn't that? That's not what you want to play for a lady though, or for your partner. You don't want to say, oh, this is bad company time. Oh, I would totally go into all my music knowledge. That's, that's what, that's what puts them over the edge with Russell.

[14:00]All I want to hear is I'm at Russell's place. Okay. We finished our fish fillets or whatever we have on the TV trays is what I'm picturing. Those little fold out tables that we used to have. And it is time. I'm going to be sharing tonight. We're having those two. It's going to be real. It's, it's whatever's on Amazon prime and chill. Russell, what are we listening to? Well, I got to walk you through what I chose not to select as my first round pick for my four place. So we're not going to play all these, but obviously rump shakers been on the pod before. That's more of a getting in the action. So I did not pick that. How does it feel by D'Angelo has to be like number one on the list, but we've talked about D'Angelo so much before, so he didn't make it. I was thinking about TLC waterfalls, but I kept thinking about what Rob used to do to that video. When he was a teenager. And so I cannot, that cannot be my four place song. But so what I decided to go with, usually when I'm getting to that four play moment, I'm just begging for anything. So I went with boys to men on bended knee. Check this out.

[15:00]Oh, Russell, you sound good. Jesus. I don't know. That's that went from zero to 60. Like that's, that's the end of it. Girl. Would it be okay? If I could touch your bra right now? I do smell like a fish fillet, but I think you and I, I've got my white jeans and my white shirt. We're going to make sweet love together. And Russell's date says, okay. No. I don't. Okay. I don't know. The translated date did not go well enough to where I could play. It goes off on that one. Like one. It wasn't one. He's not going to let that girl go home. All right, Rob. Let's hear it. Oh, no. What's your pick, Rob? What's your foreplay? You know what it is, guys. It's a song that turned me on when I was in middle school. It turns me on now. Every time. It might be giant.

[16:00]Oh my God. I'm trying not to think of Prince's little butt sticking out during the music videos. Oh, of course it's Windows cry. Are all three of your songs going to be Windows cry, Rob? Oh my God. Just different parts of it. Can you, my darling, can you picture this? Rob, how often does this work for you? When you put on this Prince song at the apartment in New York, how often does it work for you? It's worked exactly once. Cause I thought of it and I was like, Hey, I've always wanted to see if this works one for one. Yeah. And she was like, Oh, okay. I guess I'll do it. It was like this weird, like, yeah, she was like, there are certain tricks. You can't like, just, they're not going to work every time. So you can't just play it twice a day or you got to wait for the right. So now guys, we are, so actually looking at you and doing this is actually making me kind of ill. So now I am thinking about Aaron actually going to town on somebody, which grosses me

[17:00]Out. Hang on. Can we? Let's not. Jesus Christ. I'm just somebody. You should only be thinking of Aaron at foreplay right now. We haven't gotten far enough to where you should be thinking of him further. No, Rob's taking it to the next level. No, I thought this is where we're rearranging the guts here. So Aaron, when you're rearranging them guts, what are, where do we listen to? You guys know that there was going to be some Sade on here for me and you can pick almost any Sade track, but I did pick a track one side one from Love Deluxe, which is No Ordinary Love. This is a sexy song. The bassist. The bass line is sexy. The guitar is getting in there, kind of like throwing things off a little, the rhythm's off a bit. Can you just see Aaron looking over his shoulder to see if the record is still recording? It's like, it's a vibe you can't, he's like looking at the rag that he used to clean his records the night before he's like, oh yeah, clean records. I know it's true. I did. I, this was the first record I cleaned when I got my groove washer fluid. I was like, I gotta get this Sade record cleaned up because this is important to me. I need to turn down the music before I ask this question, but Aaron, did you ever make

[18:00]A sex tape of yourself? That ever occurred? No. God, no. Why would I do? Oh fuck. No, I don't want to do that. Jesus Christ. Okay. But he's nodding. He's giving it the wink and the nod at the same time. He's like. No, hell no. Rob's got the technology that can blurgle out your balls and everything if you do want to make one. Blurgle? Isn't that the word? Yeah. It is the word actually. It was like the hand blurgler. You know, when he went to McDonald's and you saw the hand blurgler, that was trouble. It was like the hand blurgler. Okay. When he was saying, "Robble," and all you could see were his ass and balls From behind and you're like, "Who would want this from you? Who wants this?" All right. I've got Matt. Matt, when you're getting them addicted to what the dick did, Matt, what are we listening to? Well, if we get there, then. Matt's foreplay is like, "Hey, nice bra. Oh, okay. I got to go to sleep. I'm so tired." Well, then it's kind of one of the greatest days ever, right? So obviously we play Smashing Pumpkins.

[19:00]I like it. And we have to admit, Billy Corgan, probably one of the most erotic singers that have ever. I like it though, because it's true. So did you go, right? Did you just randomly pick the, you didn't go to like, "Today is the day, is the greatest day I've ever known." Yeah. That's the whole point of the bit. Actually, Matt, about the joke you just made, any day that it's, this is, it's too close to home. I don't, I don't know what to say, but, and my family is listening. Just go ahead. Hey, we're in a safe space. Yeah. Rosie, just go ahead. Any day that my wife wants to have sex with me is the greatest day ever. Like it doesn't, any day that came before that doesn't matter. Like at that moment, like this is the greatest day. This is it. I made it. What do you think she says about those days on the Bizarro podcast that she does? Like the worst day ever? What does she say about that? I mean, I hope she says like it was like an okay day. I just imagine. I hope she's like, "Oh, this is a pretty good day." Well at least she's got clean records. Guys, just imagine that you're on that Peloton call with me again.

[20:00]I'm guessing, I'm guessing she's playing Ice Cube. Today was a good day. Thank you. So like today we were saying it's the greatest and she's probably, eh, today is a good day. I'm okay with that. That's all right. I'll, I'll feel good about that. Jenny was playing her too short play last night. She messed around. Got a triple double. Today was a good day. Russell, once you're, once you're all up in that shiznit, what are we listening to? So what I would love to, like in my mind, I would love to think that it's Barry White can't get enough of your love, but I don't think I really have the skills to, to, to Like, I don't, I can't roll with this. It's, it's, it's too on point. I'm not, I don't have the physical capabilities to live up to this song, right? It is a really nice song. It's such a nice song. But so what I'm going to take instead is sometimes I think you need to get a little more tempo going. I'm going Moany, Billy Idol, check this one out. Yeah. The back and forth. Yeah. That's good. Russell. This is a great choice.

[21:00]Great choice. What is he saying here? I always thought he was saying money. And I was like, what does Russell say about ride the pony, but the song is called Moany. What does Moany mean? It's spelled M O N Y you know who it might be about the million dollar Moany man. Oh, Mona, you're stuck in the dryer. Mona. It's time for some Moany, Mona. I'm Tony. I'm wait, I'm what was his name in that show? I'm Tony Danza of the show. I think that was his name actually. It was Tony Danza. I thought you told us it was the gill flunter. Actually, part of that song is like a pony. That's what you said, Rob. I don't remember saying that. What's it Matt? Part of that song is like a pony because it makes me feel like a pony. So good. Like a pony. So good. Like a pony. So good. Moany. Yeah. Moany. All right. I do like how we're ruining these songs for other people. Like they will never be able to hear these songs the same again.

[22:00]I challenge anyone to make love to any of these songs and then email in and say if it was actually as awesome as we say it is. Okay. Can you imagine by the way, being married and being like, oh, are we about to make love? Let me put on music. That would be the most insane thing. If my wife did that, I'd be like, oh, this is really bad. This is a bad sign. She's learned this from somebody else. This is very bad. Oh, Rob. What you're getting it on song. So I would say sometimes there's all sex doesn't have to be what Sex can sometimes be all sorts of things. So when I think about really having sex, I think about this, it's a Prince again. You're just going all Prince. All Prince. I love it. Oh yeah. Oh God. It's Prince. Jack you off. Oh boy. Huh? Spoiler alert. This is not going to be the last, song we're going to listen to. This is the last song we're going to listen to.

[23:00]This is the last song we're going to listen to. This is the last song. This is the last song we're going to listen to. Be some D'Angelo and obviously that just goes without saying. Russell already mentioned it. We know, like if you put on D'Angelo, You know what it's about. But I want to get to what's really real. I want to talk to the parents out there. And I want to play the Thing that you have to play when it's time to take care of business. So this is no idea what this is going to be. This is John Cage, four minutes and 33 seconds. Rob hit it. This is a live, this is a live version.

[24:00]This is a live performance. Oh, you're doing that live. This is a live performance from the Berlin Philharmonic. What's happening? Oh, it's so good, Aaron. This is so good. So four minutes and 33 seconds is a piece written by John Cage, who was an avant-garde composer that is sheet music that is Four minutes and 33 seconds of silence. Oh my God. Some of us. Oh my God. We need to stop this podcast. Like I, I've had fun the whole time, but we can't be played like music. Is the greatest thing I've ever heard in my life. Aaron, don't listen to that. Some of us live in small houses. We're really watching on the screen this song is playing. There's nothing happening. The song is playing orchestra, playing the song. Some of us live in a tiny house where your child's bedroom is next door to Your bedroom. And when it's time to take care of business, You might have to be a little bit quiet, but this might be the soundtrack. That's it. Like that's it. I mean, when you get, when,

[25:00]When you move from the living room to the bedroom, You might just have to keep it down a bit. You don't know what, What kind of idiot foot freak do you have to be to buy a Fucking CD with four minute 33 song of nothing. Aaron's like, Aaron's like cleaning it. Yeah. I mean, you could be in a hotel room of an expensive hotel. Maybe that's like the turns out that's rice fetish, Or you could be in a camper going across the country. Like you just sometimes the four minutes and 33 seconds of silence is so Important. How often do you guys get as parents of, of kids, How often do you get that four minutes and 33 seconds of silence? Ever. Right? It's sacred. That's sacred. My kids are middle schoolers. They are like hermits in their rooms. They just, and they lock the door. So when do you guys find your TCB Y time? Oh, well, she usually does it in the morning and I'm in the afternoon. I'm going to fast forward this Aaron. It is plain.

[26:00]I'm going to fast forward it right to the end. Let's listen. Just go all the way to the end. Yeah. This is the life. Just hear Russell. They're going, what the fuck? You're making fun of me. Like, I think it's crazy. There's people that are actually clapping for this. They did it. They made it. I don't care what Aaron says. I'd stand my ass up and clap. How often do you get to see that? It's like going to a museum and you see the white square and you're like, Fuck yeah. What is art? Sometimes you got to be discreet as a parent. Oh, I'm sorry. Do you not think the urinals are? Oh, you don't like Duchamp? I mean, come on, my fucking brain is so big. All right. So Aaron is going to, He's going to finish to absolutely nothing, Which is terrifying. Like when he watches the movies on this place, With no sound. Oh no, does he watch that? He watches the airplane travel. Like a true psychopath. Yeah. Aaron is voted most likely to be a serial killer on the spot. There's no doubt about that. Now, every time, now, Now every time you ride on a plane and with someone who's not watching, Not listening to the movie they're watching,

[27:00]You're going to think this is how they finished their sexual life. Oh my God. Meanwhile, Russell is taking pictures of Jessica Rabbit. So man, we have here, man, what do you think here? Let's say something funny and quippy about how excited you are about this draft About the draft. Yeah. So I mean, if you go, what, What is it? TCB is that what we're calling it? Yes. TCB. This is the, This is gross. That's the end of it. Right? I mean, That's like the end of the night. So of course my song, The end by the doors, right? Oh, this song is so freaky. I love it. Is this the end? My only friend to the end. Well, I, I, I might rather TCB, Why the air and song. This is a mess of shit going on here. Once again, you miss, It's the end. Not once did you find a spot where it says, This is the end.

[28:00]Well, to be fair, everyone else sent time clips with theirs, man. They didn't just send me an angry text saying the doors. I'm sorry to, to jump in on Matt's sex finishing song, But my favorite thing about this song is this makes me like this anymore. It's not fun to talk about a real life. My favorite thing is listening to that cassette when I was in like eighth Grade and being like, Oh, is this what it's like to be high? Like this must be it. Like this is like, This song must be like what it's like to be high. This is amazing. Did you drink like four Mountain Dews and down a couple of pixie sticks? And then listen to that song and be like, I think this is it. Yeah, this is it. I made it. Russell. When we get to the TCB Y portion of the night, What song are you listening to? Can you move into two 27? You got to go up a little bit further. Oh, Russell, I'm not with you. This is, we're not roleplayed.

[29:00]You sick fuck. Okay. All right. Oh, put the pillow under your hips, whatever the whole time I was thinking in Reality, I'm thinking I need like monster ballads. I need eighties rock. It's part of my evening at some point, Whether it's in the middle or at the end of the TCB Y portion of it. And I was thinking about nothing but a good time by poison, But instead I decided to go with AC DC, Thunderstruck. Check out the lyrics here. You'll see why. Yes. How old are you? Right. And you stand up and you say, you've been Thunderstruck and then you Thunderstruck stand up. What are you guys doing standing up? I mean, Are you insane? I'm saying after you're done, you just like, Can you imagine you stand up and say, you've been Thunderstruck. And then you just like, I'll tell you, if I was smarter, I would have picked that song, roll over Beethoven. I mean, That's like roll over Beethoven and go to sleep. Like the best part

[30:00]Is the next time Matt TCB wise to the doors and then he gets up and he Says, you've been Thunderstruck. I can't believe you guys are getting up. Just wallowing your filth like a pig. You are. You sick. All right. What's your TCB wise song? So it was going to be called. Oh, You, your pelvis is so wide. My hips hurt, But instead I'm going to go with another Prince song. Okay. See if you guys can pick this out. That's a little too real prints. I mean, it's, it's hard to go around as hell. Russell is true. No, I'm sorry. I didn't pick Money. I mean, what the fuck? You're criticizing my pick. You pick Money as well. That's right. Thank you. You picked all of the same artists. I mean, He's the sexiest artist of all time. Okay. Russell picture this. When we get to the TCB why moment,

[31:00]Why don't you blow? Here it is, Russell. Look at me. Let's make eye contact, Russell, During this song. Here it comes. Literally. Yes. I'm thinking of myself doing it. I think Rob wins, man. This is, these are great choices. This is like seeing yourself in a turned off monitor. I do not need to. This is disgusting. I don't like any of this. All right. So you probably have destroyed the podcast. So thank you. Turn it off at a certain point. Is that the deal? I'm not. Let's not. I'm sorry. Turn off the music. What are you trying to monitor? You say you sound like you're, I'm not. Oh, almost instantly. You think I want to be looking at ugly dads like staring me back at the Face. Ugly dads begging for love. MP3. I'm like, what is an MP3? I'm listening to sound. That's what gets me off. Now I was listening to sound. All right. Sorry, Aaron. Oh God. Okay.

[32:00]Somebody say a funny joke. Rob is the rabbit prince. The rest of us had a blank song, The doors and ACDC. Come on. I had Chade and Sam cook, too, I guess. It's so weird that all of us are free Friday and Saturday night to record this Week. Oh, well. Can't believe no one else had something to do. And it's so weird that my wife at no point said, Oh, no. I've got plans for your Elvis tonight. You can't be. She's like, I need the iTunes. I need the iTunes password so we can listen to Prince tonight. She didn't say that, huh? It's a good joke. It's a really good joke. Oh God. It's a perfect joke. Well, if she listens to the pod, she won't, she won't need the password. She can just listen to nothing. Aaron's final song, right? You can just, you can imagine you're listening to John Cage. Any, it works in any context. You know how Apple how the iTunes store those a lot, like having Sex. How's that? Sometimes you have trouble logging in.

[33:00]All right. So what? I don't get it. Oh yeah. Sounds like my wife. All right. So I've got rolling, going Matt, rolling, going. How's it going with you? And by the way, anybody who's not listening, don't blame you. We are, we're going, we're going to Disney. We're going to Orlando. What are the kids going to do? Who's watching the kids? I don't know. I don't know, but I need your guys. I need some advice. Cause you got to go to the corner as, as you guys have, So eloquently played every single time we have this episode, You play that mean old daddy clip or whatever it's corner. Yeah. So I, I legitimately scared that my level of chill is not going to Be at the level it should be for Disney. And so I don't know, I need tips guys. I need tips. It's time to get high. You need to get high and go to Disneyland. That will make you an awesome dad. And I'll just say this, just do this, man.

[34:00]Just spend all the money you possibly can. Think of it like clear for Disney. You get to skip all the lines. You get to do whatever you want that. We've already said preemptively have started doing a lot of that stuff. We are going with my parents. It's time to get twice as high as what you were planning before. Twice as high. It's time to just be flying that whole time. There is no reason to come down whatsoever. All right. I I thought I was going to need a lot Of advice from you guys, but you guys nailed it right there. And we've been going so long. So you can just, we're good. There it is. That's my role in going. Thanks guys. Love it. Russ, man, as a Disney stockholder, I thank you very much. I think it's a really good idea. I, are your kids, do the kids know, or are you going to try To make this a surprise trip? Now we told them about a week ago. So we, we were kind of holding off with the whole COVID thing And that no one was going on. Didn't want to say, Hey, we're going to Disney And then pull that back. So we told them a couple of weeks ago. So yeah. So they know now. And so they're, they're, we're, we're much more

[35:00]Of a Harry Potter family than like a Disney family. So we're spending a couple of days at Universal and I think Wanted Disney maybe now. Can I ask you, are you staying on site like at a hotel? I've heard we are not, okay. Cause I've heard that makes a big difference in like how Much stuff you can see, but I can only imagine what that Costs. It's got, cause you know, instead of going to Disney, We made the very smart and financially sound decision to Instead go on a Disney cruise, which ended up only being About 10,000 times more expensive when it was all Sudden done by the end of it, because it turns out all Those drinks you buy, they charge you at the end of the Trip, unknown to me, and they will not let you off The boat until you pay, which is a problem. So Rob, you've never taken your kids to Disney World before? No, well, no, my kids, they don't, I know my kids Don't deserve to go to Disney. No way. When Rob says on site, I can only think of Jay-Z's Verse on drunken love and he says, your breast Is my breakfast and we're going in. So I don't think we should talk about that any Further. I hope Matt and his lady have their own room. I don't know. Are you we've started doing that.

[36:00]We're, we're in, we're a two room family now for In a hotel, girls get a room, we get a room. We're probably a year or two away from that. Yeah. I don't know what I honestly don't know what I think We've got three bedroom, like timeshare type Thing. And so I think we got plenty of room, but I think That's going to be a blast, man. I think that's going to be, that's, I'm Going to be super fun. I can't wait to hear the stories. And I am, yeah, I am stoked for the stuff We're going to get off the podcast mass there Where there's notes right now. Oh, I should, yeah, I should get some sort Of voice recorder. Yeah. Oh, voice recorder. Even better. It could be another Aaron in the tent, Except it's going to be high Matt at Disney. Matt is so stoned at Disney like, 10 bowl whips today. I'm so full Russell rolling going. How's it going with you? It's good, man. I was going to say, if you and your wife, if You don't have the separate rooms, like you're Hoping for, you can use Aaron's suggestion For the song for the end of the night, then No one's got to know what's going on. All right, they'll never know. That's yeah, just put that on and then You're set in any situation, any locale. It's the opposite of the Miami sound machine.

[37:00]So the no sound machine. Wait, how does that go? Rosie, how does that go? Miami sound machine. Oh, with the. I mean, man, just so that everybody Know at home, Rosie pretended that he was Conducting the four minutes and 55 seconds Of silence. And he went like this with his fingers Doing a conducting motion. And then it was like looking at us all excited. And we thought it was the dumbest thing. You didn't even get what we were doing. Surrounded by more. John Cage. We're talking about maybe things move fast On this podcast, man. It's true. Russell Rowan going. How's it going with you? It's going good. As you guys know, last time we talked about The 27 bar I went to, which was kind of a Disaster. I don't need to go to that bar again. That was so long ago. I forgot. But I forgot to tell you, I went to a Different bar when I was in Florida And it had something that was also unique. And I had to get your guys thoughts on this. All right. All right. I stopped at a hookah bar. Have you guys been to a hookah bar? No, I don't understand the hookah bar. Is it like, is, are you getting any chemicals

[38:00]From smoking hookah? What is a hookah bar? I don't get it. I think everybody I know that went to Hookah bar. It's like a cultural thing, right? It's like a bar where it's for it's Because a lot of it's, is it for People that don't drink like culturally And then a hookah bar kind of feels Like it's like a Middle Eastern thing, Right? Yeah, that's why I thought the ritual Of it, right? Russell, did you partake in the Hookah bar? I did not partake in the hookah bar, But I was really interested in it Because part of the reason I was Interested is all these people, there Were different colors. You were, you could buy like different Colors of, of stuff that they Were hooking up to the pipe Or whatever you want to call it. And I was, it was just, it blew my Mind. I've, I've been to hookah bars Before and I think maybe back in The day I've participated. But I just, I don't get, I don't Get the appeal for it. I don't understand that. I think it's kind of like a Korean Barbecue, right? Like they're bringing it to your Table, they're cooking it right in Front of you. You've got the stove, you can smell It, you can see it, but you Don't actually have to do the work Of like lighting it and keeping It going like, it's just that Idea of like it's like, Is it tobacco? It's, it's not marijuana

[39:00]What is, yeah, I think it's Tobacco. Yeah. I'm going to look it up real quick. This has made me interested in Here. Hookah or water pipes used to Smoke. This is from the CDC, okay. Dot gov. So you know it's a Reliable source. If you were Teaching like maybe middle school Science and that was something You taught on a regular basis. Hookah's water pipes used to smoke Specially made to fuck The CDC, especially made Tobacco. They're doing the best They can. That comes in Different, they're doing the Different flavors. Such as Apple, mint, cherry, Chocolate, coconut, licorice, Cappuccino and watermelon. Now I Got to say, if there was a Cappuccino hookah that I could Smoke, it would taste like a Cappuccino. I'd be down. Some chocolate hookah, but There's sounds great. I, I what? Here's The thing. I cannot wait. I cannot wait this conversation At least over under three And a half number of people That know Rosie, who are going To call in angry that, you Know, correct us about our Hookah and our pipe smoking Thing because I guarantee at Least little Rosie's been a Hookah guy at some time in his Life. Yeah. And then some of

[40:00]Your other buddies, man, why Did I call him a little Rosie? I don't know. Cause he's like Taller, right? I mean, he's Bigger than me. It's a column Little Rosie for some reason. I don't know why he's taller, But maybe for a live show, we Should have a be it. Do we do It at a hookah bar and we get All that smoking hookah. And By the end, we're all just Green. We're like ill. We're More tired than normal. Like, oh, this is awful. So what, Russell, you just Walked by a hookah bar and We're like, no, I hung out There for the, for a good part Of the day. But I didn't partake In the hookah part of it. Any of your party that is Partake? What are you talking about? Beer is like a full bar. This was in Florida where the hookah was Outside. It wasn't like in the Dimly lit dark bar. It was just sitting outside Even better. So I mean, But I think that's the point Is that you need to be, it Needs to be like behind like A bead curtain, you Know, and like in a dark Bar And you walk in and everybody Stares at you like, what the Hell is this guy doing here?

[41:00]Yeah, that's right. I've always wanted to feel like I'm in an opium den. That's Why I think hookah bars are so Fun. They're super fun. Roll and go and Aaron, how's It go with you? Have we done Aaron yet? Yeah, who the hell cares how It's really going with me? But I got two things To say. One Of my dear Friends on this podcast sent Me an in a tech mug And I appreciate the gesture I've been enjoying the in a tech Mug every day since I got it. I I understand how Some of the things I say about My job on this podcast might Inspire someone get it back To think that I work for In a tech. So I I've been enjoying the In a tech mug every day since I got it. Perfect. Do you love it? Do you actually drink liquids Out of it or drink nothing out Of it like the songs you Listen to? Well at first One I did For the first photo up, I Drank nothing out of it, but Now like pouring coffee into Into an in a tech mug like That makes your day better. Like you're like, oh, I'm

[42:00]Doing it. I'm doing the thing. I love it. So that's it. That's how it's really going with Me. I went to the ocean today, Took my hey, it Aaron Rob and I are Going to say you're welcome Because Rob and I pitched In. You're welcome, Aaron and I. Oh, I didn't realize this man Man's doing all favors for Everybody. It seems like he's Too. He's too good. He's he's he's the best of Us. You didn't realize it was Bad. Who did you think it Was? I did. I don't pay attention to a lot Of the text that you guys are Sending when I'm not directly Well, I'm kind of like pretty Busy. I'm doing stuff, but I Will say we got a text today From Aaron and made me laugh so Hard. It's his family at the Beach and he says, oh, we Brought Uncle Rob along and There is his kid sitting Directly on the towel of me And my speedo. I think it's so I laugh so Hard at that. I think that is So funny that it's just like A normal family thing of like When he meets me and I'm Wearing clothes, he's going To be so disappointed. He made a joke at dinner Tonight and he said, is That like an uncle Rob joke? Like he just never even met You. And he's you're such a Part of his life because

[43:00]That's not good. My kids are kind of like that, Too. And he asked me how do you Know, Rob? How do you know that? What is the fuck is going on? We're going to be a kid. I'm literally like the only One that is probably like Actually the best suited to Raise kids your age. Like it's literally what I do For a job. Like that's the Thing. I have the Mindset of those kids so I Can get in there and like Really help them out. No, Rosie, but the way the Way you describe your office Setting and I I had The pleasure of watching Office space again, that's What in a tech is. It's the Company in office space. But anybody doesn't know. And they were sitting there And it's Lumberg's birthday. They're all there's like a Million people lumbered. Fuck. Lumbered fuck. You know and They're they're like singing Like happy birthday, like just How I would imagine any happy Birthday who cares Kind of a thing just that Just put me right like, oh my God, this has to be Rosie's Office.

[44:00]No, you nailed it. I absolutely Nailed it. I will tell two Stories around. I know you're Dying to jump in, but I'll Tell two stories about my job That will support Matt's Hypothesis. One, we Had some significant Layoffs. I don't know. It's three years Ago now. And the day that We got. Yeah, losers, get them out Of here. I don't like when they gave me Valentine's anyway. It's fucked those guys. They told us about the Layoffs on October 31st And they called us into A like a last minute meeting. It was like, oh, these six People are losing their jobs on Halloween. Yes. And there was a woman Dressed in a pumpkin outfit Like sitting In the meeting where We got the notification that We were getting laid off that I wasn't getting the lady in The pumpkin outfit get laid Off. Fortunately, no, she did Not. But that's good. She was all right. And then the other thing That I should mention, and this Is like a niche thing For maybe some of our listeners

[45:00]Who may or may not appreciate This. Every other Monday, I because I don't know if you guys know This. I'm someone's boss. People report to me. Like, do you get A case of the Monday? Let's just think about that For a second. Can you imagine Going into work and there's Your boss and he's like, fuck Me. I don't want to do Jack Shit today. Like, yeah. Hey, I have a meeting and it's Like, you can see he's at The child's science center In the back. He's like, you need to work hard To give me those reports right Away. Your annual review is blank, Just like the songs that air and T.C.B.Y. Finishes. You go into his office and he's Like, oh, let me turn down the Radio. And you're like, I didn't Hear anything. And he's like, Exactly. Think about that. There are Eight people who call me their Their manager. Jesus Christ. And every one of my God, It's almost a baseball team. Monday, I have to log Into a mainframe computer. I log into the mainframe To approve their PTO time. I have every other Monday.

[46:00]I got a hop on. Yeah. I log into the mainframe. And so that's that's that's Really how it is. So you're talking all this Shit about like, oh, this, that And the other thing. And Meanwhile, somebody's like, Can I have some time off? Yeah. I have a family emergency. So you're like, sorry. No. Not covered by company policy. Goodbye. Sorry. I never denied anybody's time off. Sorry. I can't get to my email. Low tide. Yeah. I'm not working. It's low time. Sorry. I didn't need you to get those Reports. I'm not improving anyone's PTO. This person doesn't get their Family medical leave because I'm at the beach. I've never denied Anybody PTO. Come on. Shit. Wait a minute. I can see in the background is Your son sitting on a towel Of somebody's naked body. You're telling me what to Do. This is fucked. Oh, sorry. I can't talk to you right now. I was just reading a book about Samurai swimming. It's like, what? Who is my boss? I mean, you can just pick anything Aaron's ever said to be like, how Is this person a boss? How is he a boss? And I'm not.

[47:00]I'm not a boss of anybody. There is nobody at my work who Can say who I can tell somebody To do it. They do it. There's just nobody. There's nobody below me. I am the bottom man. But that's not how adults Work. No. Rosie, I just hope that somehow, Some way, somebody in your Life, other than the four of us And your wife who was in on the Joke, sees you in a tech bug at Some point in your life and just Starts laughing. I hope so, right? Yeah. I hope so. It fits. It fits. I hope it's somebody you just Fired as we're in a costume. I've never fired anyone. Oh, right. You've never fired anybody? You've never taken actions that Have led to somebody be fired? No. Never fired. Hey kids, we're going to have An imaginary Christmas this Year. You're wearing matching Minnesota Shirts because you're going To be fired. Never fired. All right. Dick move here. Five people in Halloween. Did we just do? Yeah, we did air. That was Aaron's role. Yeah, that was my role. I was going, how's it going with You? All right. So let me tell you this. I need your guys as judgment.

[48:00]I need to go into the advice Quarter. Yeah, I do. I could do had any of the Advice, but I'm never going To change it. So I will not take this Advice. I just want to have your Opinion. This is the first time I Think you've ever asked us To do it. Usually you just listen to Anything. I don't want fucking solutions. I just want to talk. Yeah, I just want you to Listen. Here's the thing is that and It's true because I think That I do something that I Think is wrong. And I think it should be Right. I think I shouldn't be Wrong. I think everyone else is Actually wrong. I don't say is wrong. I don't say bless you when Somebody sneezes. I don't and I never will And I'll never say Anything when somebody Sneezes or I'm not Saying that shit. Everybody is like tripping Over themselves to say Bless you. Somebody sneezed at the show I was at the other day on Broadway. And two people said bless You. I was like shut the fuck up Back there. We do not have to say why What is it that even a Thing? I don't know. You're not a cassoon Type guy? No. Absolutely.

[49:00]If you sneeze and nobody Says that, do you get mad? No, but I feel like I say It. I feel like I say I'm a Bless you guy. I think I say it and I Don't know why I say It. Why do you say it? Do you go to church? I don't. I definitely do not. I don't know why I say it. So why do you say bless you Then? That's why I say it. I think it's because When somebody sneezes. Because there's people that If you don't say it, I think You're a dick. I think there's an expectation You say it. That's insane. You should not have to say Bless you. Like if somebody farts next To me, I don't be like I heard that. Like that's what they're Doing, right? Like yeah. I mean, do you do it When they cough? Do you do it when they Throw up a little bit and Then have to swallow it Back? It doesn't make any Sense. I think there are some cultural Sensitivities here. I think that There's some I think sneeze The sneeze The sneeze because it is Still a mystery. Right. No one knows what a sneeze Really is. I think that there are Certain It is. It is like the one time If you sneeze like your

[50:00]Whole body shuts down. Right. Isn't it the whole thing? Right. There's one other time, But it's the T.C. B.Y. Moment. At the same time, You would slip inside out. Right. You're in a black hole all of a Sudden. Yeah, it'd be really bad. I've noticed that That Yeah, I think that the people, If I sneeze on the street And a person goes out of Their way to say, Bless you to me, Like they seem like a person Who probably goes to church Or has some beliefs That I don't necessarily Have or relate to. So I feel like I can't say anything about It. Like I appreciate that They want to bless me. Like that's great. I'm to the point now Where somebody says that To me, I get mad. Because I'm like, This just needs to stop. People are like, They're racing each other. Russell, do you race people To say it? Like do you try to say it first? No, I don't. I don't even know why I say it. It's just instinct. I don't even know why I say it. I'm not, It's not a religious thing at all. I don't know. I don't even know. I don't get it. I'm going to save you A little bit of Rob. You're not going to be The one to stop this. And so you shouldn't Let it ruin your day.

[51:00]You're not going to be The one. Nobody. Rob. Shit. Rob. Rob is not going to be The one to shut down this Whatever it is. Big daddy fat stacks. What was it? What was the name? Daddy fat stacks. Daddy fat stacks. Yeah. B-I-G-B-O-Y. When you said that I'm Not going to be the one To do that. Yeah. I was incensed. That is like when I tell My wife to relax And I make, Now I know how she feels. That is outrageous That I wouldn't be able To change my environment. That thought would never Ever occur to me that I'm not in charge Of everything around me. Everyone right now Who's listening to this Is really good. And in fact, It pisses a lot of people off. Okay. Who don't want to say it Because it makes them sound Like a psychopath when they Say fuck you to somebody Who says bless you After they sneeze. It's weird stuff. So casuntate. No. Okay. We're getting into the album. We're getting into the album. This is too long of an album. Talked this much About sneezing. It's also the most Important artist Of our generation. So we probably

[52:00]Should get to this album. But I do, I do appreciate you guys Agreeing with me. I like that. Thank you very much. I am 95% of the way there With you, Rob. Thank you. I appreciate it. That's pretty, That's pretty far. That's pretty good. It's like, hey, Everybody, Beck did a better text Or email in Beck did a better Or call 802 277 Beck And maybe leave a voicemail. What do you think about Bless you? Okay. Is that a A bless? Bless. Is that a choose to do it? Or no. Guys, Just say yes or no. Okay. Hashtag yes or no. Do you say bless you? Do you say bless you or not? Okay. How about this? Hashtag. Yes, you. If you say bless you And hashtag. Choose not. Gesundheit. Gesundheit. If you say that instead, If you say that instead, You do not. No, It's the same thing. It's just German wrestle. It literally means the same thing In German. That doesn't make it any better. I don't think so, Man. I don't think so. This reminds me of a joke. I went sour. Someone said,

[53:00]Do you pronounce The word heinous Or heinous? Does it run with penis or Anus? Please text penis Or anus to the. What? I mean, This is. This is why we come. Okay. So Aaron doesn't want to talk about Beyonce apparently doesn't Think it's important, But I do. Okay. So Aaron, Please, Let me get to talk about his Beyonce. You know, This used to be, This used to be a Ponomous album, But it was released on iTunes. So now it's an E Ponomous album. So this is Beyonce, Beyonce, And this album, I mean, Really this, This album is post the birth of Her and Jay-Z's first child. And a whole bunch of this Album, The whole theme of it is Basically like, Hey, You can still be a mom, Right? And you can still get work done And you can still come in And do all this stuff And you can rearrange Your environment to be Somebody with a child And still get work done. And yes, You're still going to sit on Your husband's face. You're still going to Make him drink all the Water up or whatever she Says. Like you can still, You can still wait him in the

[54:00]Back of the limo. All of it. Yes. Make, Yes. Exactly. Make the driver put the, If Beyonce told me, Hey, Put the partition up. I'd be like, Yeah, You can still eat your All of it. She's owning the whole Thing, man. She is a fucking boss. It's, It's incredible. And so basically this Album, It was recorded in the Hamptons where her and Jay-Z were living. And the people that came Out and the list of people On this album is absolutely Incredible. So she like set this up as a Summer camp for an album. Unbelievable. But by far, The biggest deal with this Whole album is how it was Released because this kind of Set the new gold standard For how superstars release Albums. And that is Total surprise. It would, Nobody knew it was coming Out. They never announced it. You know, Beyonce was like, I don't think an album's About art anymore. It's about hype. So let's see, You know, Let's, Let's make this art. And she just dropped it Out. I didn't even think of an Equivalent.

[55:00]It would literally be like if, I think for me, Like it would be like, If you just turned on the TV And they're like, hey, By the way, It's a secret Super Bowl. We didn't tell you this, But these are the two best Football teams and they're Going to play and you're Going to watch it right now. It would blow your mind, Right? And that's exactly what Happened with this album. It's like when we dropped Episode zero of our podcast, We didn't tell a Goddamn soul about it. We just dropped it. It just showed up. It is kind of like when I Had my mom on the old Write the best of, And I didn't tell you guys It was like Beyonce. We got like six to eight Downloads on it. Yeah. I'm totally Great. It's more like greatest Shits. I've been saving that. I've been saving that. I was going to be my joke at The end, but I could better Write that down. But that, That's probably the biggest Deal. Let's get into the album. So Just imagine that you're Like just you're a huge Beyonce fan. She comes out. That's crazy. Pretty hurts. I mean, She's setting the tone Right away for what it Needs to be.

[56:00]I mean, She's already talking about What it's like to be in her Place. And we talk, I mean, Rob, You made a joke about songs Being relatable. She right away. And Lauren Hill did the same Thing. Made herself relatable, Even though she's the Biggest fucking star. Yeah. I mean, And she's talking about, You know, How tough it is to be Beautiful and especially Like, Like I look like shit Almost all the time. Right. Like when I see you Like, Like, Like, Like, Like when I see myself in Photographs, I'm always like, Oh, that's not great. Imagine seeing yourself in Photographs. You didn't even know we're Being taken. Like if you were taking a Photo of yourself by accident With your phone, It's a nightmare. You know what I mean? Like you look at it and You're like, oh, It's like, It's like a mirror. Rob, I just blur go out my face When I send those pictures With the other stuff. Right. It's like when you see a Mirror and you didn't Expect a mirror to be there And you're like, oh, God damn, You haven't sucked in your Stomach or whatever. I mean,

[57:00]She's like, She's like, Background vocals too. Yeah, She's huge now. I mean, Her song chandelier might be One of the best songs from 2010s. Right. So like, Just, Just starting off right away With banger after. This, So the next one is actually A two-part song, Ghost Haunted. I'm going to play you Ghost, the ghost part first. Why not just have two Songs? Why is it a two-part song? She just had a lot of this Album. Because yeah, It's just kind of like Not quite long enough to be One of the best songs. I don't know. So then, And she's literally talking About how she's going to Release the album and, You know, How this is going to be a Different thing. And then she also released Like all these videos with This too, Or what was that had To do? Because when you look at The credits, Everything's about the Videos and not necessarily The music, right? But Sasha Fierce was out In 2008 and then she Took a pretty long break Before this one came out, Right? So the technology for Delivering video would have Been different at the time. I mean, You still had your iPod That had the, Like the fucking

[58:00]MS-DOS screen on it, Right? And by 2013, You had a different device That would have. You had a desktop computer That you could definitely Not take into your bedroom, Right? Rob, in 2008, There was no laptop That wasn't get-a-boss. That thing was right. That thing was like, Why aren't Ethernet, And your whole family Is sharing the internet? I mean, There wasn't multiple profiles. There was no such Things in Kagneto mode. You know what I mean? Forget-a-boss. She did have an album For her. Okay. But like, yeah. All right, That was so stupid. All right, Haunted. Haunted. Ooh. Butterpass. That immediately, Like, It's only track two. This is a Houston album. Like, This album is Houston as shit. And like, Why is that? Why is it Houston? What's Houston Music? Yeah, To me, A lot of the sounds That snare sound, And then even those, Like, Those bleeps and blips, To me, Like, She is saying,

[59:00]You know, I'm from Houston, But I'm also global. But no That's like, That's what's great about this Album to me is like, She is, She's very much, You know, Rooting herself In the Houston sound, But also saying like, I'm a global icon And taking it further. Who's another, Who are some other famous Houston artists When you say a Houston sound Like, We've talked about West Coast Rap Or East Coast Rap, But like, Who's a Houston artist that We would know? Boy, they're really good At coming up with names Down in Houston. There's a good at it. Yeah. I mean, all that. Megan Thee Stallion, Is it Megan Thee Stallion From there now? I mean She's one of the recent ones Who's, And then even like, I mean, UGK is from Port Arthur, But like, They're still Texas. So that whole Texas sound Like, I think she's really Pulling a lot of that in. And I mean, She's working with like, An absolute Just crew Of the best Producers Because she's a boss And they want to work with her. So the next song, Actually Beyonce wrote after Going to a Cleveland Cavaliers

[1:00:00]Game, It's called Duncan Love. Oh, Kevin. Kevin Love. All right. Drunk in love. I thought it was going to I thought it was going to be A Spurs game For real. The Cavs are fun this year. I actually saw the new phrase There and we've talked About this fast. Are you talking about Are you talking about the NBA? Yes, but I got to say When the Cavs Is about how much you love Donuts is Duncan Love. When the Cavs really get it Going, They call it a Cavalange. So good. So good. Kevin Love is back. All right. So that was Drunk in Love. That's all Aaron had to say About that song. Aaron, this is crazy. So that's that's definitely The one where we got Breastesses are my breakfast. Yes. Oh, no, no, no. Please, please. Excuse me. Oh, sorry. I apologize. Excuse me. This is not my first rodeo. Okay. When I listen to this album, Here's this album. And you know, It's about a woman, right? And it's about a woman Who's just done the most Magical thing, had a child. And now all of a sudden She's like, Oh my gosh, People expect all the stuff From me, But I'm the most powerful person In the world. What am I going to do?

[1:01:00]You know what I mean? And what I texted the guys About is I heard Jay-Z Talk about pulling her panties To the cider. And I was like, Guys, there is a pulling the Panties to the cider. And I'm like, And you know, Aaron's dad in that home Would be like, I like that move. That's perfect. So that's Jay-Z. That's Jay-Z and Beyoncé, The husband and wife there. And have you and your wife Ever sang like a duet At an event before or not? Man, That's, That's funny you mentioned that. We sang at my sister's wedding In 2013. You ruined that one too. That's why we sang together In perfect, In person. And then we did a little, We recorded for my brother's Wedding, But, But we didn't get to go There together. So, But it wasn't, It was not quite On the level of raunchiness That Jay And, And they achieve In this one. The one thing I, I got to say to people is Drunk and love is such An anthem. And we've talked A long time ago About her live Special at Coachella, But when,

[1:02:00]When she does this one live And the whole crowd Does the, It is electric. People love drunk and love. Is this the one where Her and Jay-Z Wake up in the, In the kitchen And don't know how they Ended up there? Isn't that marvelous? Can you imagine? And can you imagine Jay-Z? And so it sounds like No one nuts at his house, right? It sounds like he is like, I mean, He's got to be drinking Gatorade Like crazy. Those electrolytes are out of whack. Like he is no joke. He is, I mean, He's got to be like taking Showers all the time. It's got to be crazy. And then he goes out And cheats on her. And basically Is the wire lemonade got making? Men are slime. It does not matter How rich you are, Who you are married to. Men are the worst things Walking around on two legs, Except for us, Of course, We would never do that. Yeah, I would be like, Oh, this rules, I will never, I would never leave the apartment. I would never go anywhere. I would quit my job And just stay at home. You know what I think it is? I think it shows she's trying Too hard. Like she's like too, She's too into it.

[1:03:00]It freaked him out, I bet, right? She made a whole album About how they were having sex In the, In the kitchen. Russell, there comes a Russell, there comes a point. There comes a point. Oh, let me, Let me have this conversation, Rob. There comes a point In every Beyoncé's life, Right? Where you're dating somebody And eventually you just have To dive in And you got to call A relationship. We're going to move forward. We're going to put labels on This thing. And that's what it's going to Be. And you got to, You got to take the leap. You got to jump off that cliff And you got to just go for it. Yeah. Right. Right. And that's what she's doing Here. You might have to talk about An outlawed on your podcast Or whatever. Whatever. Whatever. Whatever platform you have, You got to name it. Whatever it is. Yeah. Or even take a picture together In social media. Like it doesn't matter. Like you can do so many Things. She's rich. She's got a couple of nice kids. Yeah. What? She had to make another album To retract everything. It sounds like. No. Am I right? What am I missing here? No, you're missing our point,

[1:04:00]Russell. You're missing our point. But if she's all right. You just can't be afraid. You got to just dive in Sometimes. You just got to dive in Head first. Blow. That is a genius. That's a genius. This song is so fucking good. So here's what you, So this song was written by Beyonce, Pharrell, Timbaland, J-Rock. Somebody named James Fondelroy, Which sounds like a little, Like a prince from 1846. Oh, James Fondelroy. I'm here from the court. It's a little Prince Feel to it. Russell, I'm glad you mentioned That. And here's the thing. Here's the thing. One, you'll never think of Skittles the same after Listening to this song. Number two and Rob, I hope you're ready with the Bleep button. This is the most. Album I have ever heard in My life. And then listen to this. I just want to say. Did I get it? Did I nail it? I felt like I, You guys know, I love dirty songs. I love dirty. You're Bob.

[1:05:00]Listen to this now. I know. I love my penis. Like I wouldn't have waited For anyone else's penis. That's true. I wouldn't. You guys know I love, I love dirty sex songs. And so as soon as I heard This, I thought, I gotta make a list. I gotta make a list. A list. I gotta make a list about The songs that are. No, I've always said, No, like I, I love having a penis. I've always said, Like it's, It's the greatest thing now. Like, I got to make a list of the Songs that are about the Same thing that this song Is about. And I'm glad that Russell Mentioned Prince. So let's, Let's make a list. Okay. All right. So here's the countdown. So I'm not going to, I'm not going to say that Loud. The biggest perv on the Podcast. Just like, Just like Rob likes to Talk about how things are Subtle on this podcast. I'm going to be subtle, But I'm going to say blow is About a certain thing. I'm going to make some list About songs that are about That same thing. So the first one I got, I think you made it pretty

[1:06:00]Clear earlier what it was About here. The first one I got is By the king of dirty sex Songs and it's Prince. And this is head off The dirty mind album from 1980. Let's hear it. She says, I'm not ready to be wed. He meets this lady. She's on her way to get Married. And he's going to, He's going to change Your mind until you burn It up. This is Prince. You know what? I can't take Prince Seriously anymore after I Watched Purple Rain And he drove that woman Out to the beach And left her in the ocean, Left her in the lake And drove away on the Motorcycle. That's fair. But we all know Prince Was willing to be a giving Sort of lover in these Situations. But just like Beyonce, There would, There would be no, There would be no blow Without Lil Kim in my Mind. So we got here from Lil Kim and Lil Kim's Going to say not tonight. So let's hear what She says. I think she's made the list Beforehand. She's never been on the Pond before, has she?

[1:07:00]She wouldn't do it. Oh. So the next one, The next one was, For me, It was a Napster Classic. This is, The song is by Akanele. It's called, Put it in your mouth. But the ladies, But Kia Jeffries gets Her chance to respond. Man, This was a Napster Classic, According to Airtime. I don't know What it is. I don't know What it is. This was a Napster Classic, According to airtime. Classic. Who is this Man? Mine was Big boobs.jpg. This is Akanele and Kia Jeffries is the Lady on the track. And there is no way Beyonce did not listen To this one because She's talking about Lick it up every Drop. You can taste it And Beyonce's doing That same thing On blow. And it's like, If you're, If you're out there, If you're really Making it happen, That you got it, You got to talk about it. I think I'm You got to taste your Feeling about it. You're thinking about it. It's like,

[1:08:00]It's like somewhere, It's right in the tip of your Tongue, But you can't quite say what It's about. At first I was like, Why is he making this List? And now I know. Now this one, This one is purely Conjecture on my part. However, I will say that this Next track Was a major inspiration For Beyonce. It's produced by Rich Harrison, Who also produced The crazy in love Track. This is A jam. It is a jam. This was a Precursor to some of Beyonce's jam. I hope there's words though Right here. Yes, here they come. I mean, There's some words coming. But she's talking about There's that one thing That keeps me coming back. And for me, In my adolescent brain, I was like, What is that one thing? What's the one Thing she can't let go of? What is it that keeps The guy, Keeps her coming back? I mean, I thought there must have Been one thing, right? Could be T.C.B. Y.Y. Yogurt. Right? We got a sign. We have not heard We've not heard from

[1:09:00]Run the Jewels On this podcast. And this is Run the Jewels Featuring Akanyeli. I messed that up. This is Run the Jewels Featuring Friend of the pod, Gangstaboo, Friend of the Pod, Friend of the family of The pod, Gangstaboo. This is called Love Again, Parentheses, Akanyeli back. This is a response To Akanyeli's Put it in your mouth. Let's just hear it. Let's hear what You hear. Don't worry. I edited that out. Turn up. Turn up. Gangstaboo. Oh. Oh. Oh. All the boys Kissed her feet. Yeah. Oh, Rob. Rob. Rob goes back on. Gangstaboo's dirty, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. No, you miss the money. You missed the money shot. Sorry.

[1:10:00]I'm going to have to do this. We're all acting like Listening. I'm going to have to mash this up. It's coming up. Yep. No. Gangstaboo. So if you guys thought Beyoncé was dirty. Ooping to bryan from Woodbury, Your kids can come back Onto the pot And listen from now. Yeah. Now it's safe To come back on the pot. Bride from Woodbury. Yeah. Turn it back up in that Mitty Van. Aaron, that was easily A top five list. That was so good. I mean that was a list you could just dive right in what I mean? I mean right at the head first? Yeah. Up to the eyebrows. Wow. Wow. Yeah. Oh, I'd love the flavor though. I just felt like this album there's a lot of sex on the front of this album. Like why not just embrace it? Yeah. Why not? And maybe like, I don't know. I don't have a joke.

[1:11:00]No angel. That one would come. Speaking of your list. So then right after this is the song where she's like, well, maybe Jay-Z's not that good of a guy. I don't know. No angel maybe? Yeah, that's what it's about. Okay. There were some talking parts on this one that kind of reminded me of Madonna. Did you guys hear that? Kind of some of the, I don't know if you called it spoken word or whatever, but I heard a little Madonna in this one. I hear that. That's true. She's another one who like broke down some barriers as far as this content goes. That's nice for us. So this is a two part song. Again, we've got part of Yance, which is introducing her character of Beyonce named Yance, which is kind of more wrap. This is what I came for in this album, this stuff right here. You like that? But I mean, she again, she says Yance all in his mouth like liquor. Like what do you think she's Beyonce? What do you think Yance on his mouth like liquor means? Like she's talking about it. She's putting it out there on main every time.

[1:12:00]I mean, you never know what she's talking about, but I did print out some lyrics from the word from blow where it says, can you eat my Skittles? It's the sweetest in the middle. Pink is the flavor. Solve the riddle. I'm going to lean back, but it is kind of true. Right with like starburst pink is a flavor. Like nobody knows what that is. It's just a pink starburst. Right? If we're going to talk about candy flavors, I got to share with you guys. I'm going to share my drinks with you tonight. Can I share my drink with you guys? Wait a minute. I got to put together a sentence. If we're going to talk about candy flavors, I need to talk about my drinks tonight. I have never been so excited. I'm a little too excited. No, I'm sorry. Yeah. It's over. The section is over. It's too much. We heard this on the blow song earlier. Rob was referencing it again. It was, can you eat my Skittles? It's the sweetest in the middle. Pink is the flavor. Solve that riddle. Yeah. So I decided to solve the riddle tonight by drinking and concocting my first ever Skittles cocktail. There are Skittles drinks out there. Did you guys know this? Did not know.

[1:13:00]Jesus Christ. What is going on? Skittles drinks. What does that even mean? Well, of course you got to start with Skittles infused vodka. Skittles infused vodka. We've talked before how I didn't get peanut butter infused whiskey, right? I got Skittles flavored Skittles infused vodka. Correct. So what I did, I went out and got a bag of Skittles. Split them up into five different colors. Green, red, purple. Orange. Yes. Yellow. These are not ingredients. These are colors. This is just. Yeah. But so now I have five different flavors of Skittles infused vodka. You guys can see here's the red. Oh no. Just for everybody at home. Russell's holding up water bottles half full of Skittles vodka. This show has awesome rails. This is very bad news for the show and my editing. These are Skittles, right? So there's not five different flavors. There's just five different colors. Because all the, all Skittles are the same flavor. No.

[1:14:00]Yes. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. What? I don't think so. This orange one I'm drinking now tastes more orangey than the last one did. Draw a random one out of the bag sometime and see if you can tell what color you're eating. You can't. We play this every Halloween with my kids. It's the greatest thing in the world. Either way, I prepared five different, I shouldn't say flavors Because Matt will yell at me, but five different colors of Skittles infused Vodka tonight. And then what they recommend you do is mix the Skittles infused vodka With lemonade. Oh no. Okay. And Sprite. So like a little bit of a lemony flavor. So I am tonight drinking five different flavor, five different colors. Sorry. But I got to make sure there's one other thing that I got to share with you guys. And it also calls for a cherry on top. So I turned that cherry out when it came to these things. I turned that cherry on and dropped it right on top. Yes. He turned that cherry out.

[1:15:00]I've never been sure. There you go. That's a dedication Russell. Did you get a picture of it? I got a picture of it. It will go on the Instagram. So I've gotten through the orange and. Oh no. I still have the green one. I was going to call lime, cherry and lemon, but now I know it's just green, Red and yellow. Russell are left to go tonight. You are not working for Aaron. Okay. You do not have to finish this. This is not a job. You have to get done. Okay. You can literally take and dump out the colored vodka at the end of the Night. Nobody's expecting you to drink all that. Can you imagine what your shits are going to look like tomorrow? Just imagine. Oh my God. It's going to be a disaster. Very, very, very good. Oh no. That's even worse. That sounds very bad. That's something that I would get in. Oh my God. How old are you guys? 24 years old. What are you talking about? What is it? This is, that's insane. Skilled. If I came to your house and you guys were drinking and offered me skilled flavored Vodka.

[1:16:00]Oh guys, I forgot. We're dealing. Hold on. Hold on. Guys. Rob. You mute your mic. All right. We'll do. Take off my headphones. Remember, Russell. Every time we have an opinion about candy, about food. So let's just nod our head when he comes back out. You're right, Rob. That's right. So, okay. We'll disagree so we can move on. All right. Flag him down. All right. Rob, here we go. Come on back. Rob, you forgot it's the sweetest in the middle. Pink is the flavor. And I saw the riddle. Wow. I was just thinking about how my penis is bigger than the rest of Your guys's. Why would you be thinking about your penis? I thought you guys were going to say you're right to whatever I Said. God damn it. You ruined the bit. All right. Next part of that song, partition. This was the drum beat for this was written by Justin Timberlake on The pocket. Justin Timberlake was a big part of this album. He was on a bunch of these tracks. I mean, this is, she's talking about flating him in the limo.

[1:17:00]Getting Justin Timberlake. He wrote a few of these songs. He's on a bunch of these. Yeah. That's pretty badass. We like, I know we've got Suzanne and magic Mike and we've got Our fans, but we need to get some bigger people to come into Camp. When is Timberlake going to write a song for our podcast? Right. Yeah. Oh, his last album sucked. It was so bad. That's the shit he did for the Super Bowl. Remember that shit? That's because he's singing and you're like, this sucks. His last song was like for the gnomes movie. And that was like eight years. It's because he's re-branding as a white man. He's trying to be a country singer. Just wait. He's going to come out with a country album. Oh my. He's going to, he's doing a kind of a reverse hoody in the Blowfish kind of depending on how you think about it. I don't know. I should have said that. All right. Jealous. Is this a gin blossoms? Hey, jealousy. Oh, I'm glad I picked a good part of this jealous. Sounds like underwater music, right? I didn't like the distortion, but I do like this kind of

[1:18:00]Felt like a ballad to me. I think we talked about this on the last Beyonce one. I like where she just starts whaling. That's true. Russell loves the Beyonce ballads. I want to hear the ballads from Beyonce. I like that more than some of the over produced stuff. I feel that. I'm different from you, Russell. I like to hear when her voice goes and she maybe does this on Maybe drunk and love a little bit. I can't remember which other track she does. I like when her voice kind of goes to those Frayed edges. She does it more on sand castles on lemonade. But like, I like when she does that kind of vulnerable where It's like, no, I'm not, my sound's not perfect. But She kind of did that on no angel that falsetto kind of The cracking voice stuff on that one. Yeah. Like where she's like, I don't have to sound perfect all The time. I'm still emoting doing my thing. I prefer when she compares different parts of her body to Candy. I think that's fun. Rock it. I heard this and I was like, did D'Angelo write this? Is this a D'Angelo song? Like this to me was a D'Angelo song. And then spoiler alert, I did look it up on Wikipedia

[1:19:00]And she said it was inspired by anti-Titan. How does it feel? But I wouldn't have, I wouldn't have done that Otherwise. Last week we were talking about how the Ninja Turtles Or a few weeks ago how the Ninja Turtles had changed All their names. So it turns out they didn't change the bad guy Rocksteady Because she kept talking about Rocksteady on this one. Remember that? Oh, yes. But B-bop and Rocksteady, numerous times. That was so good. This show is so subtle tonight. I love it. I think it's so great. All right. Mine. Is this the Drake one? Yeah. Are you guys Drake fans? We haven't really talked about him on the pod before. No, I'm not. And I just listened to, he's got an album. I should know this. Somewhere in the high 300s. If you're reading this, it's too late, Which came out in like 2016. And I, I, I really, I just, I'm not a Drake fan. And I think he's like the number two.

[1:20:00]I think the weekend just overtook him as the number one Downloaded Spotify or listened on Spotify or something Like that. So like, clearly he's got a huge massive audience. We're wrong. I mean, we're wrong about Drake. We are wrong. We are wrong. Like you just have to accept it. But that's me saying that. I'm wrong. Like you will never hear me say that again. And no, I don't, I, there's not too much, There's not too much from Drake that I could get into. Yeah. Yeah. That's the one skip on the album for me. Like, man, I don't care. XO. This is another big single off the album. Yeah. It's an anthem. Right. You do hear a bit. I mean, I think Drake does a lot of the sort of Dub, Reggae Island rhythms. And you can hear it more on this and two where she, She does it much more on lemonade where she starts To incorporate a lot more of the Island kind of Rhythms. Do you think signing cards XO, XO after somebody signs it, Is that going out of style? Are those people all going to be gone off the face of

[1:21:00]The earth? Is there going to be a letter at the point where people Are not writing letters that has XO and XO in it? Well, if you're a 41 year old guy writing to Anybody but your wife or your kids, XOX, Maybe your mom, put your mom in there. Well, yeah, it's out of style. I don't know. Are we writing XO XO to our moms? I've never written XO to anybody. I love my mom, but I don't think that's an XO XO Thing. I think my mom would be kind of freaked out if I said XOXO. XOXO Russell. You know what, I do like that. It kind of hugs and kisses. Is the X the hug? No, O is the hug. X is the kiss, right? But O is what your mouth looks like when you kiss, Right? Wait, is this an X? I thought the X was like two people kissing each Other. It's like two lips. What? You know, kind of crossing. Two lips kiss each other? You think the X is two lips kiss each other? No way. Four lips, I guess. Yeah, four lips. I mean, I'm not crazy. Put your hands down. That's kidding. I didn't feel that. You think the X is two people kissing each other. That is the most insane. That is the lip. You know what?

[1:22:00]We're stopping this down a little bit. I got to find something real good. That's the most insane thing you've ever said On this podcast. And I'm not kidding about this. I really believe that's. Wait a minute. You think the X was two people kissing. Man, he thinks the X was two people kissing. He thought that's what the X was. How the hell is an X a hug though? I don't understand. Explain to me how the X is the hug. Because you have two arms. There's arms in there. The circle it's like a hug. I thought the O was the hug. X was like the mouth. Rob, go on. Rob, take your headphones out. Okay. Guys, remember when he doesn't know shit about the food Or the candy, he might not know anything About affection. Rob, get a flag him down there. You know what? Rob, you're right. I don't know. You're right. My penis is pretty big. And I added that in from earlier. You know, that song was actually about her Watching a cow walk backwards. Ox. Okay. Flawless. Flawless. Here's another Houston song.

[1:23:00]So I've liked the chipmunk stuff, The chipmunk soul on the other ones, But she's got such an amazing voice. I don't like the distortion. I just want to hear her sing. But it's coming, man. Yeah. But why do we have to go through all the techno And the beeping and all that stuff? See, and that's why I came here for it, Russell. I came here for the techno and the dirty down, Just hit it beats that's going on. And then a little drum thing that comes in from Houston, You know, so yeah, I don't know. I'm all about it. You know what pisses me off right now Is I'm drinking this fucking green. Oh, no. Green Skittles drink. I thought it was going to be lemon lime. And now I'm shutting my eyes and it just tastes like Another fucking skill. I don't even know what flavor it is. Matt has yucked your yuck. Matt loves to yuck your yuck. He loves to put down what you love. Russell was so happy, Matt. Russell was thinking that was lemon lime. He was all excited. Look at that drink. Oh Jesus Christ. Look at that thing. Can I tell you guys where I fucked up On these drinks though?

[1:24:00]I would say, I don't know. Probably save it for the bottle. Speaking of part fucked up. Let's just wait about a half hour. The instructions said you're supposed to have like a cheese cloth Where you drain the flavored vodka in your drink. What'd you do with your cheese cloth? Because there's like this layer of film. There's like this layer of like the candy coating That's on the top. I don't know if you guys can see it. Oh yeah. This is good. Yeah. That thing is fluorescent. You got like a layer of something on the top of my green. I can't even call it lemon lime anymore Because Matt ruined it for me, but. Oh God. I spent all this time separating the colors for no reason. And you might. Lemonade in and you put sprite, which is lime. So you've got lemon lime vodka drink. That's colored. I think literally he said, right? His lemon and lime in a drink before. I'm pretty sure he's done that. Is this the first green drink Russell's ever drank on the show? Irish eyes. Absolutely not. The Irish eyes was the number one green drink. That was the OG. Now we've got green skills and vodka. Super power.

[1:25:00]Is this the Frank Ocean one? Yep. That's just the way it is. I felt like the album fell off right here for me. Getting a little bit long. Everything after rocket for me. I think Aaron had said that before we started recording. So I'm going to quote. This is a great time for me to quote what Aaron thinks When he's going to the bathroom right now. Well, it's not a good time when Aaron's the only one Who has thoughts on the last three. I mean, I could pound one of these and tell you guys About the lemon or the yellow flavored skittle drink. I'm drinking, but that hasn't gone very well. Are you doing the yellow now? You're just working your way down the rainbow. I'm trying to finish the green one, But there's this film of white shit on the top. Go ahead. Don't do it, Russell. Don't do it. No. All right. Heaven. I'd be in heaven tonight if that happened. Or what? Or Rob would probably say hell. If I was ever drinking a skittle's drink, I think I would know exactly where I am. You don't guys don't like this song? It's too slow. Too slow.

[1:26:00]This whole second half of the album. If she wasn't talking about putting up the partition, She was listening. Blue. They don't have blue skittles. Red or purple. I could have mixed. How do you make purple? Blue and red? Blue and red makes purple. Blue is a primary color. So you can't make blue. Look at Bob Ross down there. He's thinking about mixing this shit up. Look at this thing. Look at it. So just for the listeners, You're listening to somebody who has, Somehow he has a bunch of water bottles. He's just, and not, And they're like Poland Springs, Like ice mountain water bottles, right? So they're like the cheapest ass water bottles. I emptied out a bunch of aquafina bottles of water. I poured that shit down the drip. Don't tell Aaron cause we go mad that I wasted it. I, I, what for, Broadway is wasting a piece over here. Listen to the episode.

[1:27:00]Nevermind. So you're saying I can't with secondary colors Create a primary color. Oh, absolutely not. Come on. That's crazy. So we have, so Russell is examining these bottles very closely To think about what colors he could make. I feel like if I, If I mixed the red and the purple, I would have blue. You try it. It's just going to be brown. Mix the red and the purple. Yeah, exactly. And that's why I think it's a rolling going. Yeah. No, that's not even the bit. Damn it. Okay. Russell, make that purple, Make the purple skill drink. We got to see it. Yeah. I already showed you the purple one. No, put the two together that you just talked about Putting together to make blue. I got this whole green one. I can't. Dude, there's film on the top. You cannot drink that green one. Wait, I left to go to the bathroom. You're still talking about the film on top of the schedule. We're talking about the song. We got through all the songs. We got through all the songs. You can't mix two secondary colors to make a primary color. Yeah, that's fair. That's fair. Yeah, it is fair. Everybody knows it. So here's the deal. That is it for the album. We are getting. What about, Is that the last song blue? What about 7-Eleven? That's a weird thing.

[1:28:00]I feel like that's not like a bonus track. You're listening to the platinum. That's the whole thing with streaming. Yeah. Yeah. You're listening to the platinum with the extra songs. We are not. Blue is a way better closer than, But Russell, you get your, You get your balance at the end of this one. You get two or three in a row, right? Heaven plus blue. But they don't count, huh? No. No. Okay. Heaven and blue both count. I think Russ is somewhere over the rainbow right now. So here's the thing, Russell. We listen to the ballads, right? Okay. We listen to the ballads. These count. Everything counts. I don't know why you said it doesn't count. It all counts. Okay. All of these count. They're all here. They're all there. Let's just go through the ballads again. Huh? Yes. Yeah. It's cause it's a platinum version, Which is a little bit different. And then we listen to, And then the blue, We listen to all the, And these count. What do you think, Russell? What do you think at the end of this album? Is this a good way to the end of the album? Yeah. The album is amazing. It's hard to go back and,

[1:29:00]I'll jump with my rating, But it's hard to jump. Like you can't go back and say, Elvis should be behind of this. That's just, It's straight in. Yeah. I mean a little, A little peek behind the curtain, Aaron does that pants on. And another peek behind another curtain, We listened to the sex pistols. And we also knew we were doing Beyonce. So we were double dipping between the two. And it really was tough Because you would listen to the sex pistols and be like, Huh? And then you listen to Beyonce and be like, This is absolutely 100% unbelievable. And guys, I think it's finally time for us. Let's join Russell somewhere over the rainbow And let's talk about it. Why did I pull that joke again? It was so funny the first time. And then I'm like, It's funny once, It'll be funny a second time. Just start it again. Just hear it, bro. Just take a little break. And I'll go. All right. Somewhere over the rainbow. Radiant system patented popular. What do I, And the few episodes I do listen, When you say, I'm going to cut that out. When you leave those in, That is one of my favorite things that we do. It's a good bit.

[1:30:00]That's going to be cut out anyway. Well, my favorite is if I tell a joke that's not funny, I then just say, It wasn't very funny. And then it was like, Kind of validating it in a weird sick way. When really it doesn't at all. Listen, this album guys, We are all the way up to 81. Okay. And so I have to ask you like, If you think about it, This album is a lot like Different colors of skittles, right? If it's perfect, You got that green skittle, You got that purple skittle. Those are perfect flavors. That is rolling well toned. They are perfect. They are right. That's a green. Don't show that. Do not show those drinks anymore. He is showing these drinks and it looks like, It looks like swamp man. Oh, so I, It looks like swamp man was chewing tobacco And spitting into a cup all night. Swamp thing, not swamp man. Swamp man. Rob, maybe we can share the pictures Of these drinks on the Instagram. Don't say that again, like that. That was really weird to share pictures. I was like, where's he going with this? Love it. Okay.

[1:31:00]So we're going to get into some heavy shit. After the show, by the way, I can see bands all ramped up. He's ready to go. This is this like the, a perfect skittle. Is it rolling well toned? It is the red. It is the purple. It is the greatest kind of skittles. It's a rolling well toned. It's right at 80 where it should be. Is it actually kind of the OP skittles, The skills that everybody likes. Okay. The green. All right. The sour skills, huh? Those are good for about the first three. And then you feel like, All your teeth are going to fall out almost immediately. That would be a rolling bone. It should have been way higher than 81 on the list. Or is this a rolling groan? You did not like this. It should be lower on the list. So listen, I don't know why I try to do these funny bits. It's not funny. And it's just boring. The list is fucked. Okay. Is this 81st best album of all time? According to anyone ever, would anyone ever say that? Aaron, what do you think rolling well toned, Rolling bone or rolling groan? I don't know why I listened to anything but Beyonce. I've never listened to this album in its entirety until we Had to do it or this journey that we're on.

[1:32:00]And I loved every minute of it. You could have some qualms about maybe it has too many seconds. I don't know, but this album is fantastic. It's better than at least half of what we've listened to. When they redo this list in 50 years and we have To do this shit over again, Beyonce is going to be in the top 10 twice. So this is rolling bone. Matt, what do you think rolling bone, Rolling well toned or rolling groan? I'm going to put it as a slightly rolling bone. I think it should be a little higher than 81. I think my new, up to about 393, Was trying to get to 400 by this taping but it just didn't work. But I think when I hear albums that I think are really great, They leave me wanting to hear more. You know, and ironically, I guess This album, I think it's two or three songs too long. I wish it would have ended a little sooner Or maybe a little jigger the, Jiggle the order of what the songs,

[1:33:00]But you know, I overall like, I can't see anything better than Rosie said, Beyonce is probably the best artist of our generation here, At least the last 20 years kind of a thing. And so yeah, she's going to, This is going to be way higher next time they re-rank the system. So I'll say it's rolling boned. I mean, can you imagine listening to Elvis And listening to this and be like, Elvis is the best. Well, couldn't you say it for the Sex Pistols? Couldn't you say that for damn near everyone we've listened to? Yes this is just, this is such a good album. Ross, what do you think? I like the album. I will say I accidentally, Because I don't know what eponymous means. Eponymous, that's like your name is the name of the album. What is it, Rob? No, eponymous, you nailed it. So I, the other day I knew we were listening to Beyonce. So I just looked up Beyonce And I am Sasha Fierce also just has Beyonce on the cover. There's no name on the cover of the album. So I accidentally listened to I am Sasha Fierce by accident.

[1:34:00]And I was blown away. I was like, I love this album. Then I came to this one and I was kind of disappointed. I liked the one with, if I were a boy in Halo at the beginning. So I really liked that one. I think this one's a little bit more produced than that, That one was just her singing. I felt like, but I could be, I'm an idiot. I don't know what I'm talking about. But either, I liked that one better than this one. But either way, this is better than like Aaron said, Half the stuff we've listened to, I don't even think it's close. So this has to be rolling bone. It should be higher on the list. Guys, unfortunately you are incorrect. This album when you incorrect, Yeah, when you start this, are you going to be, Are you going to be wrong about this like candy And the other shit you've been talking about tonight or not? What the fuck are you talking about? That doesn't make sense to me when you just said, here's the deal. This is when we shut you, Remember when you take your headphones out? I, this is so good. This is my favorite part. Russell, what color are we on now? Where are we riding here? Well, we've like, we're in Cherry,

[1:35:00]But you guys would say it's yellow and red. Yellow and red? What are you talking about? Did you mix them together to make glue? No, we're saving that for the orange. I was going to say that's Halloween. He's going Halloween on us. He's going orange. Here's the deal. Guys, this album, When I started, I was like, I love it. It's, it's soft. It's easy listening and, and, But as, as it, as I listen to it, This album, it kind of grows in my mind. It's getting bigger and bigger. And by the end, I just somehow got harder to listen to, And that's why this gets a rolling erect shown. This was the hottest album I've ever heard in my life. Every time she was talking about that, You could just be like, I, It's in, I was like, what? What? What? Why was lemonade? Why did you do that, JC? What is going on? She wants to do it in the limo. She wants to do it in the kitchen. I mean, you, can you imagine having sex so good That you can't remember how you ended up in a room? That is insane.

[1:36:00]Yes. That's crazy. That would be awesome. Next up, guys, we're going to take a picture. I'm going to take a picture with my wife and my kids And I in front of a Gravitron eating mini donuts. You know what we'd call that picture? Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. It's a family. Oh, what is it? Is it there's a riot going on? It's a family. Oh, because it's a family and there's a fair. Yeah. I got it. Like, but it's flying. It's flying the family. Slying the family stone. There's a riot going on. I forgot what we were doing. I kind of just stopped there. That's my bad. It's a great album. It's a Bay Area album. That's he should be on the Bay Area Mount Rushmore. I might have messed that up. It sounds like we're all riding the rainbow. No need for a job. I just nailed it. I nailed the perfect job. The fourth time, but you're just a charm. I got it.

[1:37:00]Russell, if you want me to. I've got one. Now I go for it. Trying both. I've got the perfect podcast for you, Jack. Back. Did it better? Do you guys think that all TCB, Why yogurts taste the same if you close your eyes? I'm going to fucking barf. I got to go my mind about this episode. I don't want to remember it. Rob bless you. This is less. This episode is going right in the vault. Going right to the vault. Boy, I hope I turn on a podcast and hear about four guys coming Out of music they like to listen to.
