[3:00]That's good we're going to that one that's an original in 2020 four friends decided to listen to every one of the greatest 500 albums is decided by rolling stone magazine this results in a text chain that celebrated music excoriated the order and led us to making this podcast we are far from experts we promise to do almost no research all opinions are our own unless you disagree please sit back and enjoy beck did it Better we are all the way up to album 181 kind of and we have bob dylan when he was just like me with my laundry in college bringing it all back home from 1965 why did college kids not want to do the laundry at the dorm it's not that difficult it's true it wasn't that hard and it costs like 75 cents right where was i getting quarters that's my number one question i had no

[4:00]Idea where to get quarters do you think they still have quarters for college at college rooms or are they cashless now yeah it's all cash it's all card boy man answer that so fast you know matt's been hanging out in that college laundry room that's the thing about college girls guys i get older they stay the same age hey can you just throw this pair of underwear in quick before i head home right hey can i just throw my towels into yours have you decided on a major yet Do you guys remember so like when people would do laundry in the dorm so eventually you go and like you someone's left stuff in the washer in the dryer you pull stuff out of the dryer you just throw it in the basket you leave it there right yeah right mm- yeah it's fun yeah you just like no wonder people bring stuff no wonder people bring it home college is fucking weird if you woke up today and somebody was in your bedroom that would be a life-altering event that happened every week in college where i'd be sleeping in a

[5:00]Room that was my room that i slept in and i would wake up and just strangers would be in there like talking to my roommate just people i didn't know would be in my bedroom they would see me wake up that's weird that's not normal you know what i would never do now is carry a whole basket of tree out to a car there's no way no i just want you to picture this just picture this you're taking a shit in college oh no i can't why are we i don't think i did i can't remember a single time I did i think i took like three i remember a time i did because i looked down and there was a woman's foot in the stall next to mine because goody had brought a lady home the night before i was there getting a dump and she was classic aaron was like these are my two favorite things aaron what do you think of those women's feet i mean you had to have like your favorite shitters right like i can probably still think of at least

[6:00]Three of them yeah like a couple like hidden away in the library like where nobody was going to be there second floor of the new student center nobody knew it was there nobody right and then a year later somebody carved into that stall big rob o2 and it was not me i graduated it was not me it's gonna be like basement lounge at like two in the morning right old main urinal i'm just gonna say that like the floor to ceiling urinals those are like the tallest urinals you've ever seen in your life Rob i told you not to bring ruin my only fans these urinals could have been a lion the witch in the wardrobe situation they were so big you could go right in there it was crazy now i texted you guys earlier today and i said i think i have written my magnum opus my greatest song i've ever made okay now i also want to caution you let's try to have a clean show okay listening back to some of the old shows they weren't this dirty all right you guys know i went on a deep

[7:00]Dive where i listened to four episodes of beck did it better and i went insane you are funny when you were clean so let's let's keep it clean and let's listen if i remember correctly i could be wrong it may have been the d'angelo episode where rob broke bad there was an episode where rob broke bad and it went from like a not a very dirty podcast to incredibly dirty it might have been d'angelo i mean there's episodes of this podcast where we we beep out deep dicking we like had a Discussion about whether we're going to say that i i don't even think about saying deep dicking now i mean fuck fest is a word that we just say on this podcast now we've got to clean it up all right you guys think fuck fest is hyphenated or is it one word come on one word are they both one word but both f's are capitalized that's how it looks on that t-shirt anyway and it has the lineup on it it's just like who like rob it's like

[8:00]Rob's name is the biggest at the top and then whoever 2024 fuck fest cabo there's a good chance we're fucking when our friends are fucking oh yeah clean episode what are you thinking about our friends fucking too what no neither am i never mind what oh i was asleep did i talk in my sleep i do that sometimes the first mention of our notes of the word dirty was london calling oh this was number 11 250 to 906 I suggested this for a trailer when rob insisted that we have trailers i said rob's big bopper bit was very hilarious it's really dirty though so not sure we should use this as a trailer the first dirty moment of the podcast was rob's original big bopper what else would it have been wow and we won't again because this is a clean podcast okay i'm back i'm reformed

[9:00]Okay you guys have accepted me i'm back and i i realize the evil of my ways and i'm going to change okay and with that in mind and remembering that i actually recorded this earlier today so maybe this doesn't count let's listen to this song everybody welcome to k-rob k-r-o-b you know some people just love a mystery oh yeah russell's in the basement jacking off the cryptids lock nest monster Gives him a boner chupacabra makes him whack off jacked off google's bigfoot starts pulling his bug russell admits he jacks off the cryptids god knows my fan makes him want to blast again then he pulls down his pants looking at some mermaids a woman with a body of official mega russell spring who wants to fuck the jersey gravel least it's funky i know the first or the episode i think i know the last

[12:00]Let's just run it back one more time play one more time is fine that's you know i complained last week i didn't get any compliments this is you guys are literally the nicest people in the world you're my best friends you're my you're my family now ah russell's in the room in the basement jacking off the cryptids loch ness monster gives him a boner chupacabra makes him whack off jackdaw google's crypto starts pulling his bug Russell admits he jacks off the cryptids god knows mothman makes him want to blast his ass then he pulls down his pants looking at some mermaids a woman with a body of official mega russell sprain he wants to fuck the jersey devil least but skunk ape laurel skunk ape so here i am sitting at my computer while my kid's like getting ready for bed and i've got one window open that says other terms for masturbation and i've got another thing that says like rhymes with skunk ape

[13:00]And i'm like singing this song while she's going to bed i was like and i got done and i turned around i go i think that's the greatest song i've ever done in my entire life i knew right away listen we've got three guys here i mean who else could rhyme whack off with jack off nobody i don't know i know we only want it's me and taiga's oh taiga's on the phone i think mermaid and spray might have been my favorite Listen i've got three guys here who didn't know the rest of the lyrics to hey aaron and matt hey thanks for coming up with that song this week i really appreciate you guys coming up with that super fantastic song it was great i blame john for me dina thanks to peter for the drinks thank you peter i have three guys here i have three guys here who didn't know the rest of the lyrics to hey mr tambourine man was hey mr tambourine man fucking quiet down there we're in a movie theater every time you reach into that popcorn it sounds like a tambourine

[14:00]All right listen i've got matt minneapolis matt how are you doing good rob just want to let you know that even the president of the united states sometimes must have to stand naked oh let's talk about that have you ever heard that call with lyndon b johnson where he's calling the guy who invented haggar slacks and he's talking about how he needs more room in his crotch because he's got such a big hog let's pull it up you ever heard that we have to pull it up lyndon johnson Come up with this stuff pants call oh guys this is a fabulous one honestly the fact that you don't know this is embarrassing to me now this is a president make the pockets at least an inch longer my money and my knife everything fall out being president would be awesome my money and my knife and everything fall out another thing the crotch down where your nuts hang is always a little too tight this isn't real right so when you make them up give me an inch that i can let out there because they cut me

[15:00]They're just like riding a wire fence these are almost these are the best that i've had anywhere in the united states but when i gain a little weight they cut me under there so leave me you never do have much margin there let's see if you can't leave me about an inch from where the zipper is you're the only one who's the only one who's gonna leave the room you're the only one who's gonna leave the room you're the only one who's gonna leave the room you're the only one who's gonna leave the room you're the only one who's the only one who's gonna leave the room you're the only one who's gonna leave the room you're the only one who's gonna leave the room you're the only one who's gonna leave the room you're the only one who's gonna leave the room These are- I mean this, guys. What is this shit, Rob? This is not real. He famously had a huge penis. He called it jumbo. You talk about it all the time. I mean, if anyone would know, Rob would know. Yeah, guys, I'm either leading a celebrity cock expert. Who told you about Liam? Who told you about Liam Neeson? Who told you about Liam Neeson? You know I did. Hey, who showed you Lenny Kravitz? Talk about Ben Rathalsperger. Lenny Kravitz. Who knows that Ben Rathalsperger? In court, somebody has said he has a great penis.

[16:00]That's not slander. Hey, who gave the listeners a detailed description After I made a Vicente Schenco joke once? Rob, that was crazy. He only measured four inches, But I was measuring from the ground up. They cut him under there. It's like he was riding a wire fence. I've got Matt in Minneapolis. Matt, how are you doing? No. I got Russell. Good, Rob. Did you know that even the president of the United States Sometimes must have to stand naked? Have you guys heard that call about Lyndon Johnson Or he's called about the pants? It's a real call. I'm telling you. I got Russell in Minneapolis. Russell, how are you doing today? Well, this is convenient. Rob, I ain't gonna work on your cryptid farm no more. It's a shame. The way your skunk ape makes me scrub espresso martinis Off your floor. Oh, boy. You said you were at a farm with him?

[17:00]Oh, what are you looking for, Rob? Frustrated wives. In fact, that Rob is just quiet. Watch, Rob is such a bad typer, but when He gets into something sexual, it's like in zealous. Right, Google knows. That was the fastest I've ever seen him Google. Especially with slow internet speed, I was impressed. First comment on this video. Best, like Dylan's lyrics. Next line is the best. Oh, wait, that's enough of that.

[18:00]Unless you want to hear the chorus. Sex bomb woman. Before. Hey, Rob what I don't want to hear three times Tonight is that song you just played. Wow. Russell what? That makes me feel so good. And I've got Aaron out in California. And recently, Aaron went into a restaurant And they said, oh, are you comfortable? And he goes, no, come for food. I don't care about this table, come for table. Aaron, how are you doing? It's all over now, baby blue. Let's talk about Bob Dylan. All right, let's not mess around anymore, OK? Let's get to this voicemail. We ask them to leave messages on a voicemail line. But they're not so great. Rob, I have a question. Most of the time. Yes. They leave text messages for our show.

[19:00]Do these idiots not realize we only do audio? Now, this is a text message. There's a moronic. My bad. That's what we think. Oh, it's a pain to hear what they say. If you think they're mad, you should hear the ones we don't Play. You're so dumb, make it complex. Just call 802-277-BAG. Oh, that's so nice. I can't wait till I get on this list of albums. I was going to ask you, before you play this, Last week you did a Bex with a computer voice. I don't think we've had a Bex with a computer voice In maybe six months. No, no. We've had a lot of voicemails. Yeah, no one ever leaves Bex anymore, do they? Well, you would, well, listen to this. Does someone tell them not to?

[20:00]I'll tell you what, Russell, this one came from very close To where you are right now. You dumb fucks obviously don't know. T-Pain won the Mask Singer without autotune. You are the dumbest of the dumb. This is Matt Russell's upstairs roommate. He asked that dumb fuck really made me listen To his choir music. You're the first one to get called a dumb fuck On the voicemail. But you know what? Don't blame her. Listen to that choir music. The Bexter said that we were dumb fucks because T-Pain Won the Mask Singer and we didn't know about it, I guess. Why would I know what the Mask Singer? Right. Who the fuck watches the masks? Why would I know about that? I was curious at this and I was like, well, he's a singer, right? Yeah. Like he should win them. So listen to the winners of the Mask Singer. By the way, spoilers for winners of the Mask Singer In case you're interested. OK. T-Pain was season one, right? Wayne Grady. OK, I get that. He's not really a singer, but he is. Somebody from Real Housewives was season three.

[21:00]Season four was Leanne Rimes. She is a singer. I would not be embarrassed to get my ass kicked by Leanne Rimes. She's a literal professional singer. Wait, so are there amateurs competing against these girls? No, it's all celebrities, but they're not all singers. But of course Leanne Rimes is going to win In a singing contest. That'd be like if you had Leanne Rimes In a Stone Cold Stunner contest against Stone Cold Steve I think like Antonio Brown was on one time. And I mean, they have all sorts of people. Nick Lachey was the next one. So the singer, what? OK, season six was fucking Jewel. Jewel won Mask Singer. If I would have said, bet me a million dollars. Did Jewel ever win Mask Singer? You would say no, right? There was. Yeah. There's no way she would do that to herself. That makes me incredibly sad to know That basically Jewel is back to living in her car If she's doing the Mask Singer. Like things are bad and that Jewel story About her living in the car always got to me Because just imagine.

[22:00]You have to sleep one night in your car. Where would you sleep to be comfortable? It would be almost impossible. I think, yeah, that's the only thing I know That it's like this whole thing about the music industry And living on the streets of this whole sense of thing. All I could think about when I heard the Jewel story is How would I sleep in a car? I don't think I'd be in the back seat, I guess. If you've got a hatchback, you can lay it down. But if you don't have a hatchback, you're screwed, man. You wake up from a night of sleeping in your car. You can't have a good day. There's there's no there's a zero percent chance That's going to be a good day. That'd be so tough. Oh, Tiana Taylor, don't know that is. Hey, Rob, what are we talking about right now? The winner of Dunn's Locket didn't know one pass. Season 10 of the Mask Singer was won by Neo. Oh, also a singer. Also a singer. No shit. And I'm so sick on love. So it sounds like there was a real housewife once That took it down and everyone else is a singer. I don't know why we wouldn't have known that. Also, we didn't say anything bad about T-Pain. We said he sounds good. You know what? I am going to issue an official Bec did a better apology.

[23:00]Oh, it's not like the right time from Bec. Did it better? I'd like to take this chance to apologize to absolutely nobody. Bec does it better podcast. All in on the post. Oh, yeah, I heard some stopping a minute ago. Oh, I'd heard about that. Now, did one of our listeners send us that is what Justin Timberlake is using for his Crimea River in Vegas? He's doing a thing in Vegas. And of course, he's singing Crimea River, which famously Like Brady Spurs was on the beers. Yeah, crying on the bathroom floor. And so he said, oh, I apologize to absolutely fucking nobody And then plays that song. I'm just like, bro, you got to lay off a little bit, Like just relax with it. Oh, bad news. They're all like he won, right? Like he's married these kids. He had a great career. She has a much harder time. And that's, yeah, I'm sure he's thrilled with that. Justin Timberlake married and a bunch of kids. I'm sure that's the way he wanted his life to go.

[24:00]What the fuck are you talking about? You're a choice. And I know you've got like a family And you've got to act like you're all into it. But like Justin Timberlake did not want that. There's no way. Got to act like there's no way. That's the whole point of being rich and famous. What are you talking about? Delta. Can I get, can I return these tickets I bought to Cabo? I thought I would go soon, but I think I might not be going Any time soon or any time ever. What? Listen. Hey, those are spress of our TV Stage we're going to run on this. I can tell you what Justin Timberlake did win Is the award for the worst Super Bowl performance. He was with the worst Super Bowl. It sucked. It was terrible. OK, best ever. I'll say it again. Britney Spears with Aerosmith, One of my favorites of all time. Nobody else has that one. I think it's better than Prince. I think it's I think it's great. OK, it's got a good and Britney Spears. Oh, it's my favorite. I love it. That's the one where I watched that in the bar in Russia that had. It was the sports bar

[25:00]And famously had the picture of doing the clown on the wall. It was like Randall Cunningham, Yokozuna and then doing the clown. So good. All right, let's get into her role in going. It's time to see everybody's up. It's time to imagine. Dink comes into the bar. He's like, oh, no love for Dink. I forgot they had to get into it. Wasn't one of those guys in demolition? No, you're incorrect. Demolition, you're thinking of Barry D'Arceau, Who also played the repo man and was that's OK. It was not a member of demolition. Thank you. The militant did have three members at one point, Axe Smash And then Crush and Crush became like a Hawaiian superhero After demolition, but was never a clown. He did lose to Crush, though,

[26:00]Aaron did lose to doing the clown. He was the first superstar to put over the clown as a bad guy wrestler. This is great. I love it. OK, Russell, can you name the three little people clowns? I want to say it's Dink, Pink and Plink or something like that. But I could Blink and Pink. Oh, I was pretty good. I was with the range. Vince McMahon was like playing Pacman. He's like, hey, these are great names. Hey, Rob, if my earlier comments Didn't ruin that Cabo trip, me knowing this, The little guy wrestlers that wrestled with doing the clown. That did it. Have you guys ever convinced your upstairs roommate? Nope. To watch a series called Wrestling in Shadows, essentially, Or like it's all like the terrible wrestling stories. Oh, no. But but if you've got a roommate who like upstairs roommate Who likes like true crime and likes things gone bad,

[27:00]There's a whole series of these wrestling bed for these people's lives. She's hooked. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. You did it. We're going to phone call. Man, I'm going to let you take this one. Oh, yeah, man. Chicka's head said no, but he can't say no to me. I'm the macho man. OK, and Russell what would bad with me? It was my heart when I was driving my Jeep with Miss Elizabeth. Oh, I got a bad heart. I drove that Jeep. Oh, I wanted to get a close up view of this tree And I totally got it. Oh, the macho man without a seatbelt, I rose to the top. First ever unanswered call and back to the better. Somehow you got through anyway. See, Rob didn't answer my phone calls today, so I'm not answering. Oh, it turned about a square play, as they say. I got to go.

[28:00]Don't get the COVID vaccine. Macho man. That was meatloaf. That was Macho King. That was not Macho Man. Macho Man is fully supportive of the vaccine. Don't you buy any unripe bananas Because you won't live to eat them. Oh, yeah. That's the thing with grunt bananas. They never go bad. Roland, go on, Aaron. How's it going with you? Wow, it's going great. It's getting to be, it's getting to be Oscar season. And the Oscars are later this year, So there's still time to watch. So I'm in my current rankings. We're working our way through the movies. My current rankings, I got to say, I think we've seen four now. I'm going to rank them. The one I enjoyed the most was Past Lives. I would say maybe after that was, I don't know, it falls off pretty hard there. I think Rob soon is Bungalow. We're in Cabo, and I keep hearing that noise. From the bungalow, it's so strange. Really enjoyed Barbie. And then Killers of the Flower Moon in Oppenheimer.

[29:00]That's just so many hours of movie. That's tough for me to get through. But we did Maestro or whatever. Was I not watching that one? Yeah, that's, I'm only watching that one If I get through all the rest. And I'm not going to also see That whatever the zone was. That's why I'm not going to make it through this year. I got to ask why are you not watching that one? Is it what sounded personal or something? Oh, I just there was already a movie About a conductor last year. It's just it doesn't interest me. I don't think they I think it was a real like Bradley Cooper really wanted to make this movie And basically like went to Lynn Leonard Bernstein's family And was like, let's make this movie. And I don't think it's all that close to the truth From what I've read. Here's what I don't get is why would you want to watch A movie about a guy who works so hard? Because there's one thing I know about conductors. They work the Live Long Day. All the Live Long Day. All the Live Long Day. Damn it, I fucked up the joke. All the Live Long Day. Shit. I mean, yeah, and then like,

[30:00]Why did the semiconductors keep getting passed over? Oh, because they're in the semis there And they're not in the transit, right? In the semis. Yeah, exactly. But I really enjoyed past less. That was really nice in this movie. So Aaron, do you always try to see Like all the nominated movies or not? I try. Yeah, we try every year. And then some years it's like last year And I was like, I can't watch All quite on the Western front. And I did. And that was a tough one to get through, But I did it. But yeah, we try to get through all of them every year. So yeah, like if we make it far enough, I'll probably watch Maestro, But there's the, there are a couple of others That just seem like real, real done. I am done watching sad movies. I will not watch a movie that's sad. I'm not with you, Rob. I mean, I agree. The saddest thing I watch every year Is the Google advertisement That's going to be on during the Super Bowl. I know it's going to be there. I know it's going to make me sad. That's my limit to sadness is a commercial. I will not go see a sad movie. I want more dumb and dumbers. I just want to see dumb and dumber. That's what I want to see dumb and dumber And Robocop back to back over and over. You know, you guys know one of my original quests We've talked about.

[31:00]I'm trying to sail the baseball stadiums. I'm getting close. A quest, I started about five, six years ago And then I stopped, But I'm thinking about picking it back up. I am going to pick back up my quest And I have a spreadsheet somewhere on my old computer. I want to watch every movie That's ever been nominated for best picture. That's a good one. Oh, wow. I mean, that's good. And get this guys. I'm going to fucking rank every goddamn one of them. Words to first. Feels like an idea for a podcast. Jesus, no, please. I'm not doing where Schindler's list should be On some podcast. Is this is Paul G. Who's in the holdovers? I keep it. Paul G. Yeah. Hey, man, I'm not drinking any fucking Merlot. I'm not drinking any fucking Merlot. Have you heard? There's like a legit downfall of Merlot after that movie. Yeah, I'm real. You know, back in the early 2000s.

[32:00]An uptick, if you will, in Pino. Right? I think Merlot is trying to make a comeback, actually. But it took, what, 20 years? Is it that movie? That's where I'm at. I'll update my personal rankings for the year. Aaron, do you see any of them in the theater? Is it all streaming? Yeah, that's the bummer. They've all been streaming because of It's hard to get to a movie. And then it's also like, if you get a babysitter to come, You're like, well, let's go out to dinner or something. The last thing you want to do is go see the movie theater, right? Yeah, right, yeah. Or like, we'll go for a hike or whatever. Yeah, I haven't seen any in a theater this year. So then that's also like, what in Z. Oppenheimer and I. Max. So like that probably isn't the right format. So they're all watching at home streaming. So it's definitely not what? Rob, what are you doing? And how did it come so natural? Again, you were the worst type I've ever seen In lessons for adult content. I'll tell you what, I do the same thing. How did you get to that so fast? I don't like good things. Or instead of the Oscars, I of course do the AVNs,

[33:00]Which of course is the adult video awards. Okay. From the adult video network. So for example, I need to see Gia scene one, Double penetration. Okay. Gia for you. That's the best tag team sex scene. Okay. Now, can you explain to me What the best tag team sex scene means? Even I don't get what that means. What is a tag team sex scene? No, we're not doing this. Okay. Here's what I'm picturing. Okay. Ravishing Rick Rudd. Okay. Junkyard dog. What I'd like for all of you, Fat, out of shape, Minneapolis sweat hogs is to keep the noise down. Well, I take my robe off. I was fast forward to the plot. How Rob can type faster when it's for adult content. Fast forward to the plot. Rob, are you that good at finding that stuff? That was ridiculous. The thing that's really stressing me out lately Is I don't know what to do with my book jackets. I don't want to throw them away, But you're trying to read a book with a jacket on.

[34:00]It's such a pain in the ass. I can't part with the book jackets. Do you have like a little nightstand or anything next to you? Yeah. I have found a nice spot in the back of my nightstand drawer For all my book jackets. And then they just stay in there. Because eventually you're going to want to put them back On the books, right? Yeah, you're going to put them back on. Put them on the shelf. They look nice. Come back to Earth. You ain't putting them back on the books. You're not. I got all my books. Yeah, they're all got their covers. That's Books Wear Jackets. Guys, your books are meant to be naked. Take off your book and jacket. Book jackets are the dirtiest thing. They're like phone covers. The phone is meant to be held. OK, it's meant to just have it. That's a book. This is worse than your Ferris Bueller's take Is no phone case. You gotta have a phone case. Nobody has ever read a book and said, Wow, I'm glad there's this book jacket. And also nobody's ever like, I don't know what spilled on a book and been like, Oh, thank God it's wearing this condom.

[35:00]Well, you got to remove the jacket way. Yeah, but I have books that have like a nice jacket With some artwork and then the book itself is just plain looking. Yeah, this is where Rob. The only reason people have physical books anymore Is to put them on a bookshelf and look smart. You need the book jacket so people can see the name Of the book when they come into your house. The color. Because if it's just like a yellow or brown side of a book, Like nobody's going to get no points. Hey, oh man, you read that, huh? You read Anne Rand or whatever that book is. Good for you. Bookshelf, I got my apartment. What looks better? A bunch of book jackets. Okay. Or when I strip it off and you just see the spine And it says Rush Limbaugh, this one, Rush Limbaugh, this one. All my Rush Limbaugh books, it looks way smarter When there's no book jacket. You can just see who wrote it. Does that, do you put your Jordan Peterson books Above or below? Yeah, I don't know. My room was so dirty. I lost my Jordan Peterson.

[36:00]So that seems like two votes for the jackets. So the jackets stay on in my house. How is it rolling going with Russell? Rolling going. Things are going really good. I thought we could play a game tonight. Are you guys up for a game? Shall we play a game? Let's 100% play a game. Let's go, Russell. So the other night I went to, I don't know if you guys, Matt goes to Cabo with his friends. Who knows what goes on there? Aaron goes and he does events with kids Parents that host events from school. Rob, you go out and do friends, things like that. I went to a game night the other night And there were two options for the game night. One, you could either play like a word game Where you do like fun apples to apples. I don't even know what the game was, But it's like an adult game. Apples to apples, worst game. It wasn't apples to apples, Matt, But it was something along. We played that a lot with my mother-in-law, Patty, who listens regularly And I just had to throw that in there for her. Patty, worst game ever. They was like, I'm not a gamer. I don't play like the games that take 10 hours That are you have to know

[37:00]Like how to form these armies And have tasks. People are like big into games, But I'm not really into that stuff. But we came out of this and the upstairs roommate And I have a couple of these card games. It's kind of like a, hey, let's ask each other Some questions or whatever, and I thought We could ask each other some of these questions That the roommate and I were playing, The upstairs roommate, the game is called Talk. Talk is the game. Yes, I will marry you, Russell. Yes. So we could ask some questions about each other On the podcast and learn more about each other. Is that a good idea? Yeah, Russell. You're frozen for a bit there, Sterling. So I thought we could play some games, Learn a little bit about each other as podcast hosts. Is this one of those four-play games? So the first question is, I'll ask the question and then we'll answer About each of each other, okay? Traditionally the mail does. You got to teach me a little. So the first question is, Not me. Name something that is on your podcast Partner's bucket list.

[38:00]Name something on your podcast partner's Bucket list. So I thought we could start with Matt And the three of us could try to guess, What is on Matt's bucket list? Matt doesn't know what's on Matt's bucket list. I was going to say Matt is the bucket list person to me. I'm going to say, Matt wants to go see a final four basketball game. That's what I'm going to say. Aaron, what do you think is on Matt's bucket list? Backstage at a pro-jam concert. It's a good one. Okay. Russell, what do you think? I think Matt wants to have one month full Of champion reverse weave sweatshirts Where he could wear one a day for a month On at least a 29-day month. A leap year month, 29 days. Who, which one of us, Guessed your bucket list? How? It's somewhere between Rob and Rosie. The thing that instantly came is I would love to go to Europe

[39:00]And watch some Premier League soccer. I've done everything else And I think that's just a completely different step. At some point soon, We've got to go over and see a Premier League soccer match. I like it. All right. Next question. We'll do Aaron this time. How about Aaron? This is for the next question. If your podcast partner Aaron Had to spend a million dollars in 24 hours, How would Aaron spend it? If Aaron had to spend a million dollars In 24 hours, Rob and Matt, how would Aaron spend it? I would say that he would pay to fly in What musician And play a private concert For him and Aaron's wife at gmail.com. Private concert. Yeah. Shade. Oh, wow. I don't even know if a million would cut it for that, but yeah.

[40:00]I guess I'll take a, I'll follow Matt's route a little bit. I'm going to say Aaron flies in His 50 best friends, buys out the Oakland Coliseum For the last game at an Oakland A's game And says the Oakland A's are on me tonight. We're going to have the greatest night ever. Boy, a million dollars. I would guess Aaron becomes part owner Of my favorite new baseball team, The Los Angeles, the Las Vegas aces. He's now part of that amalgam, Including a Alex Rodriguez. Okay. I don't tell you guys what. I had Alex Rodriguez. I tried to get him. I was at Timberlake game. I tried to get him to sign a picture of him as a centaur. Yeah. He was not happy about that. Yeah. He hated that. Hated it. I think, yeah. It's got to be, wait, did Rob go yet? Yeah. He kind of did. It's got to be somewhere between Matt and Russell. I like the idea. You guys are a hundred percent right. Throw a big party for all my friends. If Shade could be there,

[41:00]That would be about the pinnacle. And yeah, that's exactly right. Fly everybody who can't always make it somewhere. Yeah. Get somewhere together and do it up big. Sorry, kid. Learn a trade. Dad had a big party. Next question in the game of talk is for Rob. Rob. Yes. If our podcast partner Rob was to go on a reality show, Which reality show would he go on, guys? It would be The Flavor Flames. Matt got it. Matt got it. He would take Flavor Flavespot. See the guy who shifts on the floor, The guy who spells the shit out. No, no, no. He's the one who's got the chicks. That shit on the floor. Where's our music? Yeah, Matt's got it. 30 chicks all buying for Rob's attention. And just one of them shifts on the floor. You're not sure. Who could it be? Is it the one I saw?

[42:00]Is it the one I saw pound 25 deviled eggs earlier? No, Matt had it. Like I was mad mad said exactly what I would have said. Flavor of love. That's it. I'm going to go up the bass singer Rob is season nine Winner of the best singer. Wow. What would you go on? I got to say I would. I think I would love to have been on like real, Like a real world. So I think you're in a matter close because I do think Like something where I'm just there and people are doing stuff For me and giving me attention. And then when I get done, everybody knows me and everybody Loves me as much as everybody loves. Okay. Our favorite cast member from the real world. You know what my favorite part of the real world always was Like what when they had to get a job, they would be like, Oh, you got to work at like the ice cream store for Like an hour. Yeah. Russell, you might know that there who's, Wasn't there a guy from Apple Valley that was on the real World? I don't know.

[43:00]There's a guy from Apple Valley and all of a sudden we're At like, I think it's majors or one of those bars in Bloomington. And I was there with that Apple Valley guy, Lucas from Apple Valley. Russell, I think you know. And it's all, hey, how are you doing? He's talking to this guy and he goes, that guy was On the real world. And I'm like, really? And so I guess he's kind of a mini celebrity from Apple Valley. And now he's just a bartender. I got a few more. You go kick him into the urinal. You yell road rules. We got a few more questions in the game of talk. I think these are fun. Next up, we'll go back to Matt. If, if Matt, our podcast partner were to quit his Job and become a blogger or YouTuber, What would he blog or YouTube about? God, what would he blog or YouTube? What would Matt blog or YouTube about? I think that Matt would blog about.

[44:00]I could see him being a referee where he shows Himself driving to the meat, the match. And then there's like clips of him making calls And he's talking about what he's seeing and, And then like where he goes and eats after. It's like a combination of referee restaurant review. Oh, that's nice. I like that. Aaron, what do you think? I don't know that Matt would do this, But I think you should blog about being a dad. Cause I think he's a great dad. I think we don't get enough. I don't think we get enough Matt dad content on the podcast. Did you not hear my earlier parody song that I wrote in front of my kid? If I had to guess, I would say Matt would blog or YouTube About tricks to the travel world. He would be the one to tell you this is where you get good one. This is how you get on the plane. This is when you do this. The one thing I will tell you should not rely on him. Don't let him be your leader. If you need a taxi cab or an Uber to get out of the link hotel Because he doesn't know what's fucking going on. And I don't know what's going on. And all of a sudden we're dragging bags back and forth for an hour in the morning.

[45:00]I think I knew what was going on. I think I knew. We wait for a taxi originally when there was nobody in line Before we came back and there was 18 people in line. It was so bad getting out of the link. And Peter and I had to go to the place that cash his bets. He's like, okay, I'm ready to go to the airport. I just have to cash my bets. And I was like, who cashed bets in the morning at the last morning of Vegas? I was like, kind of an amateur move. But I didn't want to say anything. And then sure enough, we get up the window. Now, of course, cashing bets takes maximum 10 seconds, 15 seconds. Right. The person working there is having a conversation with somebody outside. And they're talking about something. We then finally get their attention. They act annoyed at us. They take Peter's lips and they scan three times ago. I got to call somebody. No. And I'm like, okay, well, we got to be at the airport like soon. Like we got to get going. She's like, I just got to call somebody.

[46:00]And it's a 10 minute call. And she keeps scanning. She goes, these have already been cashed. No. And I was like, what have you been thinking? Yeah. I was like, no, no, no. We're just cashing these out real quick. He's like, no, these have already been cashed. And my friend Peter, who's cashing him is just like, I don't care. I don't care. We have to go. We stood there for 20 minutes. No. And being Minnesotans, we didn't say anything. We said thank you when they were done. They need to, oh, thank you. And then we walked off and she goes, I have to go to the sports book. We went immediately to the cab place with a course. There were no cabs. We got an Uber. We were lucky to get it. And I told the guy, you got to fucking. I actually told the driver, you got to fucking go. Wait, so did he knock it to cash? No. Does he have to mail him in? I don't know. They've already been cashed. I don't know, Aaron. Not my problem anymore. Oh, no. It was about to be my very big problem. If I would have had to call work and say, hey, It didn't make my flight out of Vegas. You know what work will think If I don't make my flight out of Vegas?

[47:00]They will think I'm a true delinquent Who is drinking too much and squatting women At the craps table the night before. Matt, our mishap doesn't seem so bad. Now does it? No. Do you know how wild it is to go from squatting a stranger To almost missing your plane in a span of four hours? Because you were cashing on a ticket that has already been cashed. Oh, my God. All right, we've got two more quick questions. The next one. Well, you didn't let me answer. You didn't let me answer. What were your closest on, Matt? Because I would say I would definitely do Rob's, Except it would be, with the refing, It would be all about all of the fouls and flags I threw just to piss off Neil from Lake Jones. Just to have, just to get him going. You gotta have a referee or there's no game, right, Matt? Right. All right, this one is for Aaron. I don't know if we've done Aaron's second one yet. Question for Aaron, which festival or world famous event Do we think our podcast partner Aaron Would really want to go to one day? Which festival or famous event would Aaron want to go to?

[48:00]I'm going to say Montreal Jazz Fest. Oh, that'd be a good one. Yeah. I was going to say like Glastonbury or one of those European ones Probably got some pretty sweet house music going on. That's a good one. So by some obscure jazz artists we've never heard of, Next to some R&B rapper duo that we've never heard of, That he knows. Now, fuck festival doesn't count, right? That's not. We're still planning that one. Rob's got top billing. I'm on bottom, Aaron. I got a hamstring thing. Aaron can also get into sports. I'm going to say Aaron wants to go to the Kentucky Derby. He loves when those horses get injured And they have to put those horses down. Oh, jeez. Yes, Ross. Send over the glue. Ross, that is so good. Oh, too bad about that horse, but the high dogs are cheaper now. I don't get why. Oh.

[49:00]No, I definitely can't. There was a time in my life where I dreamed of going to the Derby, But I don't know that I could... I think I would prefer one of Rob and Matt's music festivals. No, I think which is what I've heard about the Derby Is that it's like 100,000 people And it's like you're there all day And then the race is two minutes or whatever. I just don't know that I could make it happen for that Versus an all weekend immersive musical experience. I'm going to go somewhere between Matt and Ross. At the fuckfest? At the fuckfest. All weekend immersive. Fuckfest. Yeah. Let me out of the closet. Come on. I'm serious. Let me out of the closet. Please. All right. We got one more question. You know how you have that dream That you get one more try at high school football? You know what I mean? Or like you have that one more try at whatever score Or whatever. You just can't put your clothes on fast enough And you can't get out to the game. That's my dream where I'm in the closet doors locked Or the fuckfest.

[50:00]And I could see them through the slats And there's a fuckfest going on. And they're like, where's Rob? God, I wish Rob was here. Boy, I'd really love to fucking suck. And I'm just like. I'm right here. All right. The last question. Did you have the fuckfest dream again Where you're locked in the closet? Yeah. The last question. It's like the scene from Interstellar. He's looking through the closet. I'm in a different dimension. It was love all along. There's like a tear rolling down his face While he's watching. Yeah. This guy loves fuckfest. He's just standing there naked Wearing nothing but socks. I'm going back to the dimension Where I'm not sleeping with that guy's wife. You idiot. This is what you wanted. All right. The last question in the game of talk. Rob, if you want to fire it up. This is for all of us. This is a team question. Oh. Describe our life as a podcast 10 years from now. Describe our life as a podcast 10 years from now. Non-existent. Oh.

[51:00]That's when we've moved on To Russell's movie podcast. Now we've started the movie one Since like it's the next thing. All right. Guys, I'm telling you. I think we'll be doing Rolling Stones Top 300 songs. We're going to be doing this Whole thing before one song at a time. Guys, can you imagine like Sitting down? I can really put yourself in that Moment. Like we're going to sit down And record the 500th. I can't. No, I can't. I can't go there. Could you imagine those sitting Down and being like, We're never going to do one of These again? How weird would that be? It's going to be weird. We're going to get there. No, honey. No, don't. The balloons don't come down now. We're not actually ending it. They're just talking about it. No, put the balloons back up. I don't know. They want to keep going. They're not going. I know they're not good anymore. I know. I don't know why they want to. It's the same joke. It's Ray Allen. Game six. Get those motherfucking ropes out Of here. Rolling going, Robert. How's it going with you? Guys, I've got absolutely

[52:00]Gigantic news. It's been implied, But I have to tell you, There has been changes To the top 500 albums As decided by Rolling Stone Magazine. When did this occur, Rob? This occurred. And this is how you know This is straight bullshit. This was from an article In Rolling Stone published. 2023, December 31st. It was published on New Year's E. That is like a Friday news dump. Now, here's what I don't get. It made such a low impact that We, one of the top three Podcasts about the Rolling Stone Top 500 albums of all time, Nobody knew. Nobody told us. I had a friend to say, Hey, what are the next albums That I looked and I was like, What the hell? It's like Taylor Swift's Four-chlor is 170. That can't be. And I had to go check my Sources and they got switched Around. So I want to tell you, There are changes of foot

[53:00]And let's read through those Changes. The last time we did it, We had a new list. We had an emergency Podcast that night. We had like four albums We've already done. That's the difference Of this podcast now. They changed the list And we all just were like, Not even I was ready. I was ready to do the Renaissance footwork. I'm starting up the car in the garage. I'm like, well, It was the only thing I cared about For at least 45 minutes the other day. The only thing. Yeah. It was an exciting time In our lives. What? Before you get into like the Detailed changes, Three years ago, We were on like album 15. It was the Beatles, The white album And they changed it. And the whole list changed. Like you had albums that were In the top five that went to like 200. The whole thing was a significant change. This album we're doing right now Was in the 30s. But it was, It was all over the board. There was probably like 150 new albums. This change here is very slight. There's like seven new albums in, Seven albums out.

[54:00]Yeah. And all the numbers stay the same If they didn't go in or out, right? Not quite. Okay. There's a couple little changes. All right. Okay. That is that we did have an album That changed ranks. Exodus. Has gone to 71 from 46. Oh, that did change. So that doesn't change for us. I have to go back and change the number And maybe in the, In the podcast thing. But these albums were cut fine line. The Beach Boys today. Scream Talica for my pleasure. Your aim is true. Goo. And then listen to these two. Now these two albums sound familiar. I wonder if I've spent multiple hours of my life preparing Something for these albums that no longer exist on the list. Disraeli Gears by Cream is out all the way out. Yeah. Legend, the best of Bob Marley and the Whalers out. Is there a chance that us complaining about Legend being on is what got it to go out, Aaron? 100%. 100%. We also did My Aim Is True. My son really liked that album.

[55:00]He played it forever after we did that album. What's that album? That's like four hunts. That was like four hunts. Yeah, the Elvis Costello ones can go. Did we, or did we do a different Elvis Costello? We did a different one. Oh, my bad. Hey, but Aaron. My aim is true. Is that fourth? All the Elvis Costello ones can go. Yeah, that's fair. Thanks, Dad. I love this Scream. Next year's model. Yeah. Hey, hot take our question for you guys. Yeah. Is Disraeli Gears gone because people hate Eric Clapton Like he's a piece of shit? Is that why it's out? Yes. Yeah. It's just easier. I mean, it wasn't that great of an album. And then it's just easy to spit around. But that was the one that people are mad about. I did a little research and it's the one album that people are. People are not people who care about this list do not Like Harry Styles coming in, for example, or Olivia Rodrigo. But they all thought Disraeli Gears was way too important to get cut. I mean, it's, there's some crushing songs on that. There's, there's epic songs. There's two. Sunshine of Your Love was on there. Yeah. It's a great song.

[56:00]Ulysses. I mean, that's a good song. But do you remember how that album ended with the song they just made up? I mean, there can't be an album like that on there. It's terrible. Are most of the songs made up? Some of the, here's what came in. How about that song that you played three times at the beginning? Was that made up? That was great. That was great. That was good. That made me feel good, guys. That was good. Okay. That made me want to do this podcast. Look at Rob's smile. It does make me really happy. Look at how happy he is. I told you it was a banger. I know when I got it. So Bob, Rob, what is this? Is this just a Reddit page? Well, yeah. I swear that legend's still in there. I mean, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. No, I guess it's out. Yeah. Interesting. So we have seven or eight that got knocked out. What got added in then? At 491, Harry's house from 2022. Okay. It's fine. It's enjoyable music. At 466, read by Black Uhuru from 1981. For 37.

[57:00]I know we're going to get into them, but like, I don't get how you make a change to the list And drop in something from 1981 at this point. That's kind of weird, right? It's got to be a world music thing. Right. I think that's exactly what they're doing. Ported 437 Demon Days by Guerrillas 2005. Great album. 430 Una Verana Centi by Bad Bunny 2022. We've got to have some Bad Bunny on there. Yeah. Bad Bunny's got to be there, right? 358. Now I'll say this. I think this is a controversial one from 2021. Sour by Olivia Rodrigo. But my kid is obsessed with that album. She has played that album a bazillion times. She is obsessed with the album. I think it is. She's on the list. She can guess for that one. Nope. 351. It literally will be when she's like 18 too. We're not doing that. Right. 351. Okay. SOS by Arcisa 2022. That's a good album. That's a very good album. I couldn't listen to it. I tried. I started to listen to it. I didn't like it. Here's where we run into a problem, guys.

[58:00]Okay. This has got me thinking. Metal. Door opens. Okay. Smoke. Smoke. Russell. Rivets inside. It's a time machine. Froth coming off the espresso martini. It's frothy. It's us going back, Russell. 10 weeks. Okay. We're going back 10 weeks because guess what is that? 170 now, which we have already done. We've already done 170. Everybody remember. Do you remember where you were when we did 170, Russell? Folklore by Taylor Swift. Okay. And it's new. Awesome new shit. Then at 70. No. One. Russell. You won't break my soul. We've got Renaissance by Beyonce. So now, Russell, do we get, what do we do? Do we get it in this time machine? 170 was just really gears. They just dropped it right in there. Oh, the old switcher room. You know how you figure that out? You look at my Gmail comments. Search for 170. It pops right up. I delete all your emails to me.

[59:00]Are we not going to go back? Aren't we going to go back and do folklore and Renaissance? What? Why wouldn't we get the time to next week? All right. So that's the plan next week, folks. We are doing Renaissance. Oops. No, we're doing folklore. Okay. Cause the joke I've prepared at the end of this podcast is for Taylor Swift. So we have to do folklore. We're actually going back now. This is, I told you this was simple. We are going back down the list to a lower number. And then we're going to go down and again to hire on the list to The lower number and we're going to do that twice. And then we're back up to the list. Okay. So those of you who are excited for album 181. All right. Not happening. We're going down the list back up. You have to wait on baby James. I got it. I got it. I got to say some. So you guys were Taylor Swift is in Beyonce's in their top 200 albums. Yeah, we're going to get to those next week. If this really gears never existed, I want to tell you Guys would never would have existed on this podcast. Uh-oh. You know, wait, wait, wait, wait.

[1:00:00]Can I play something real quick? Oh, Fortuna. No, this is. Okay. Go ahead, Russell. This is to the Disraeli gears podcast jokes, which we Could never use again. We would have never heard about Russ's upstairs co-tenant Asking the hotel about condoms. Pequeños talking about how Snoop Dogg quit smoking. Never would have heard about it. Wow. Where would we be? We would have never heard about how Aaron ate 32 Ounces of Duke's mail in a short period of time. You know what, Russell, I don't want to live in this World. It's really essential. I don't want to live in this world with no Disraeli gears on a night like this. It's most important to say we would have never heard Rob's five versions of Aaron Love's feet parody songs.

[1:01:00]Disraeli gears episode. We salute you. Gone but not forgotten. I'm in my full military whites in a wheelchair. The wheelchair? Jesus. I'm being pushed by a man dressed as a five-star General. Okay. My car license plate says Top Gun on it. Well, thank you, Disraeli gears, for the joy you've Brought us. We might have to also mute this out, but we also Wouldn't have heard about Rob's wife having 15 or So roommates in college. And then Rob doing a rant about doing the dishes And cooking dinner and all these things aimed at... Oh, he was referring to Eric Clapton. Eric Clapton. That was a good one. And then Rob, speaking of military salute, did a Bit about his grandpa being a vet. Oh, yeah, he played bridge.

[1:02:00]I mean, we can do all these bits again. I mean, listen to this. Why did I save these? Matt, if it weren't for Disraeli gears, would You ever have heard my rant about siding and Furnaces in Richfield? No. Eric likes the things that help you stand. Oh, my God. He's obsessed with the things that are your base. Because Eric, show your soul. To your toe. Show your soul. Show your toe. Two other things that I have to discuss real quick. One, this was an episode, one of the first Times Aaron has ever asked for an edit in An episode. Aaron asked for an edit in this episode.

[1:03:00]Yeah. He did not want something to be referred to As a crappy hour instead of a happy hour. Now you put it back in. Are we putting bits back in here? Watch this. Oh, my God. Why did I save these? Oh, Aaron. Why are you redoing stuff? That was done. And it's not your land. Oh, he likes those feet. That's it. That's it. There's no second verse. Wow. Oh, there couldn't be a second verse. He becomes the biggest fan. Have nice feet. He'll pay for your only fan. He's a foot man. Aaron is a foot man. Dude, dude, dude. The finale, there's two finales. We have to remember that.

[1:04:00]We have to remember that. We have to remember that. We have to remember that. We have to remember that. The final is we have to remember from the Israeli gears one. Aaron, do you want to make any sea buff jokes tonight or not? No, I'm good. No. Good. Good. I thought I would ask. That was an unfortunate face, Aaron. Matt. This seems very poetic right now. Matt had a funny joke about it will only be three months Till we're out of the 170s. Matt, we're back in the 170s. Excuse me, man. We're back. We're back. This is a this is our Sisyphian ordeal. We're pushing that rock up the hill every day. Yeah. When we wake up, we do it again. Yeah. Oh, are we repeating jokes? Literally. We're just talking about old jokes and playing. We're not repeating jokes anymore. We're just repeating the whole episodes. Yeah. Just like covering our own material. And this might be our best episode we've done in weeks.

[1:05:00]That's the wild part. Okay. Get a lot of nose. Okay. I'm going to give you an overview of this album. Probably remembered for Rob's four Beatles AI songs about Aaron Liking feet. I know I shouldn't encourage this, But the songs were well done. I'm just getting compliment after compliment today. Thank you. So we'll do Taylor Swift and Beyonce. I'm excited. I think it's going to be great. And then I, And then it seems like the rest of the list is pretty Much going to be the same until 351. So we will have forgotten by that. Plus I'm assuming. I'm going to be on the bigger and better things. My one song podcast, right? I just have to listen to one song. It doesn't take a whole week. Hey, listen to love. God I listen to love for a whole week. That's crazy. Again by that anyway. Crazy. Let's do Matt Rowling going or no? Man. Like we've got time to do that craze. Matt Rowling going. One 45 in the morning. Make it quick. Well, not if you're in New York actually. Matt, let's just play a quick game. Okay.

[1:06:00]I got five questions. It was actually seven. I'll go through my notes really quick. Jesus Jones is coming to the Parkway Theater. Oh, March 26th. Jesus Jones. What's the big song? Did he wrestle with Doink? What's the song, Matt? Right here right now. Right here right now. Oh, yeah. Let's just play that, huh? I'd pay at least. I'd bet I'd pay $57 to see that song live. Yeah. Wait, who's playing? Oh, Jesus Jones. It's all Fat Boy Slim. Right here. Right now. I'd love to go see it. I would love to see Fat Boy Slim. So how quick Rob was with some searches earlier And then watch him on this one. Right about now. Bunk soul, brother. I'd be in the crowd. Yeah, hell yeah. Green Day's coming, Russell. You know. I'd love to see him again. It is the 30th anniversary of Dookie And the 20th anniversary of American Idiot And they're playing those two albums In full in order. Oh, that's hard to miss.

[1:07:00]You see the whole Dookie. I got one question for you. You know what it's going to be when they play Dookie. Are they going to walk off stage? Wait about, I don't know, 30 seconds. And all of a sudden you hear, I was alone. I was all by myself. I was thinking of you. I was thinking of you. You think they do the bonus song. Oh, they have. You've got to. They have to. I think that's all I got. All right. Yeah, there's a few. Just remembering, Just a few more things, Clean up Vegas. I did get the first time in my life, Somebody asked me if I wanted Coke. So that was something I experienced In Vegas. In the bathroom, A guy asked me if I wanted some Coke. Is Pepsi okay? Yeah. And then Peter just wanted to say One more time. Oh, sir. I don't think I could ever. Peter.

[1:08:00]I don't think I could ever eat Coke. And I think it's because I'm almost positive that if I died Of a heart attack when doing everybody Like, what was that guy doing? I mean, everybody knew that was going to happen. There goes Rob. Powdered sugar donuts again. Yeah. In the bathroom. Rob with lots of energy. What a fun person to hang around with. Everybody loves it. He can't stop talking. Wow, this is great. This is my dream come true. Man. Speaking of dream come true. Is this a music? Listen. Is this a music podcast? Let's talk about the album. Oh, what are you going to talk about? Let's talk about the album. Dude, so far the last two episodes Up till now is probably our best two Episodes back to back. Can I just tell you this? Yeah. I was going to play a third Beatles Foot song and I did it. So I feel like I should get credit for that. Yeah. Okay. Restraint. I am strong. Real mature. Rob. Hey, new Rob's in your face.

[1:09:00]And he's here and he's better than old Rob. Why is Rob in my face? That's where I'm living. I got energy. I met this guy in the bathroom. He gave me this stuff. I feel great. All right. Listen, we are talking about Bob Dylan. We are talking about, okay, Bring it all on home. Okay. This is Bob Dylan's fifth album. Come on. Wait a minute. I couldn't find where it was. Bring it all back home. Okay. This is what it's called. Hey, Bob Dylan. Probably a lot of people think it's one of his best albums. This is his fifth one. This is when he goes electric. Okay. This is out in 65. He met the Beatles in 64. People are thinking he's combining folk and rock with this. A lot of the songs they think are about Joan Baez. Kind of that old folk scene. We've talked about that before, How he kind of rebelled against that. What you get here is real. The Bob Dylan that is like stereotypical Bob Dylan, The flowing lyrics. Right. This is the first Dylan album I think where you really hear that Like impossible string.

[1:10:00]This is before Highway 61. Is this the earliest of the Dylan albums we've listened to? What else have we had? Blonde On Blonde. Let's see, Dylan. Isn't it Blonde On Blonde 61 and Freewheeling? We haven't heard Freewheeling yet, have we? No, we haven't. On the list. Blood on the tracks we've done. Blood on the tracks, yeah. Okay. So Bob Dylan, the Freewheeling, Bob Dylan Nope. Times Air Change and Nope. Another side of Bob Dylan Nope. And then this is the first one that we've done, Earliest of his bringing it all back home, Which is right before Highway 61 was visited, Which is right before Blonde On Blonde. That makes sense because it wasn't it famous Where he's at the festival and he plays Meggy's farm And then he goes into like the electric. Isn't that right? That's it. But guys, that run, we talked about it then too, But bringing it all back home Highway 61 and Blonde On Blonde. What a run of three albums. Holy shit. So originally this was ranked 31st. So this would have been, It bounced way back here. Let's listen to a little bit of Bob Dylan, The subterranean homesick blues.

[1:11:00]Have we heard a cover of this on a different one before or not? Earlier today. I don't think so. But it sounds a lot like Highway 61. This song is kind of a combination they said Of Take It Easy by Woody Guthrie And Pete Seeger. And they say it's a combination of this Kind of in terms of joking style, right? Yep. And Chuck Berry, Too Much Monkey Business. Oh. Monkey business. Listen to this. You can hear it. Yep. Everything comes from somewhere else. Nothing original. I mean, it sounds just like he said it Has big time Chuck Berry influence. She belongs to me. Now, I did some research on what these songs were about And I remembered what it was like to do that with Bob Dylan. It's so aggravating.

[1:12:00]Because he's told everybody a million things about every song. Oh, I don't want to talk about it. An artistic lover whose creativity must be helped. That's kind of like if your husband has a podcast, okay? And he actually thinks it's kind of cool and fun. Okay. And sometimes he just needs to be supported. All right, night. Yell that. Just a little bit. Just give him a little. What was that noise? I heard a noise. I flinched. All right. Maggie's Farm. Russell, do you want to work on this farm anymore? You know what? We've talked Dylan before. Dylan's never been my favorite. I kind of enjoy the sound. I think there's a lack of maybe a little bit of harmonica. Not the blaring harmonica. Some of them. But I don't know. Maybe I just know Maggie's Farm because it's the famous song he's Saying before he went into electric. Is that right? But I hear this and I'm like, it feels like an epic song.

[1:13:00]But maybe it's just because of the story with that concert. I think it's an epic song. Yeah. It's pretty. He did that song, Russell, in one take in the studio. Like that whole thing that was just, they only did it once. They knew they had it. And he writes in this way that it sounds like he's talking About something big. And maybe he's not. We don't know. It sounds right. It sounds like he's talking about the end of the world or the World changing or something massive. We talked, we've talked about too how this was kind of Coinciding with his addiction to speed. Right. So it's like, he's just getting those words out there Going to fire it up. Love it. Love minus zero reminds me of this guy I met in the bathroom Earlier. Beaks like silence without ideals. Matt, was any part of you tempted to buy the Coke? Nope. Just to say. I just got all my illicit drugs from you, Rob. You just ship them in from New York. So let's go easy on the old. Ship them into New York and you try to get them in

[1:14:00]Through Mexico. Right, Matt? Yeah. Right, Matt? I don't know what you're talking about. Matt's worried the band is listening. Narcos. How about Narc Sine? Narcosine. Love minus zero. Next. What? What? What? What? What? What? You don't like this one, Aaron? No, you played this one. Yeah. Oh, what's that? For me? The Bob Dylan, we heard so many of those in like the First six months we did the podcast. We heard like four, three, four of those albums right Away. Yeah. I kind of enjoy it. We haven't heard it in like two years. I think we've heard a Bob Dylan album in two years. It was kind of refreshing. There's something about it that it's so unique. He's got these amazing stories. I enjoyed Bob Dylan more today than I did two years ago. I think we had gotten a little overloaded, but I'm Telling you, this is also the Bob Dylan I love where it's Like when you, when you're like,

[1:15:00]Holy shit, what does this electric album sound like that? Everybody got so mad about it. And then you listen to it and you're like, wait, What? Where's the electric guitar? Like it's like classic Bob Dylan with the lyrics, With the sound, with everything. It's great. You know what I did on the Bluetooth speaker record player Today for the roommate upstairs roommate night? What's that? Listen to this one. Then pulled up highway 61. Listen to highway 61 through the Bluetooth record player. Wow. Blonde on blonde through the Bluetooth record player. Do you have any of these on fire? Blood on the tracks after that. Aaron, blood on the tracks on the Bluetooth Record player after this. Listen to forestry Bob Dylan albums. No wonder you've been drinking Gatorade this whole Time, Russell. It's a good day. Aaron, Aaron would blow you for sure right now. Oh my God. I was in a hamstring cramp. Three hours ago when we started last week's episode, I got a text saying, what the fuck Russ?

[1:16:00]That's what I got a text three hours ago. I don't know. I think they're fine now. Can I say this? Yeah. This hamstring cramp thing with me is really bad because You know what happens now when I get a hamstring cramp After making love to my lady? What's that? I immediately think of you guys. So you know what we were talking about last week? No. With like when you're friends? That's a bad idea. I'm thinking of you guys immediately afterwards. I think I'm getting some weird like, I'm gonna see you guys in the Zoom screen. I'm kind of like. All right. Better go eat a banana. I don't know. I begin out my potassium from runce bananas. Gross candy. I can't believe you eat that shit. Oh, I met another candy guy today. I thought of you guys again because the guy's like, Oh, the trainer that I work with. He's like my weaknesses. And I was like, what? He goes candy. And I was like, fuck man. We get each other. I was like, I was talking to these guys about the big Reese's Cups. They didn't even know what they were.

[1:17:00]The guy's like, what? I make, I make wildly unhealthy decisions. Like I've had three espresso martinis in the last two hours, But it would never even dawn on me to buy a package of runs. This guy was like, I go home. Now this is a professional I work with. He goes, my problem is I go home or get to empty out My coat pockets. And it's just no candy wrappers. And I was like, bro, you would be brother. You would be. We have strong opinions on three musketeers versus Milky Way's scores versus Heath bars. We have an opinion about there's no way you've Ever bought a Heath bar in a store. Oh, a hundred percent. I have. Oh, wait. No. No. Brother, I love it. There's no way you wouldn't do a gas station. We're like, oh, I'm going to pass up these other 82 candy bars and buy the fucking. No, like I could see if you like grabbed it out of Like a Halloween bucket, but there's no way you bought One. I've bought a score bar before. No. Get the fuck out. You have not.

[1:18:00]Score bar. No, you have not. You only buy it the other day. What's that? Salted nut roll. Oh, oh, that's a weird one. I'm desperate. Nice choice. Matt Aaron, do you guys ever buy any weird candy At the gas station? Salted nut roll is the equivalent of like Huffing gasoline. It's like when you have nothing else. Yeah. Because we just have Wallace's Halloween candy in The house. So that's. Yeah, we're almost out. We're almost out. Right here, though. My kids Halloween candy was gone November 2nd. I was going to say this is like the ultimate Humble brag listening, watching Aaron and Matt In their brick shit house ripped abs being Like, oh yeah, we're just finally getting rid Of my kids Halloween candy five months late. Like, yeah, I got news for you. Like I could have like I could be the Fucking octo mom. I could have eight kids at my house and they Could have went trick-or-treating. That candy would have fucking been gone two nights After. If I had like I could have every kid in the

[1:19:00]History and there's no way that fucking candy Would have lasted four months and listening To fucking Matt and Aaron be like, oh, Finally getting rid of like the last fucking Couple of get the fuck out of here. Are you fucking kidding me? It's so insulting for you guys to be like We're finally getting rid of like the last 12 candy bars that we got five months ago. What the fuck you guys? I'm annoyed. Yeah. I mean, imagine, Russell, I just want you to Picture this, Russell, you have a bag of candy In your house and you don't go eat some. What? No. Okay. Maybe I'll wake up and fucking paradise. Like I'm fucking riding a unicorn because That's a dream. If there was a box of ruts in my house As disgusting as I would be, I would Open that shit up and pour it down. Like it was just. Rob was right. This does taste like a lime. Yeah. That shit's going down. There's no, like, I can't deal with Matt and Aaron Right now. I mean, did you ever have those friends

[1:20:00]Who had like candy bars in their fridge? And you're just like, why don't you eat All of them right now? Like what? How are you doing this? It's crazy. You really need them to be cold or what? Yeah. Yeah. So. Okay. Next up. Next up. What happened here? Outlaw. Where am I? Outlaw. What happened here? Do we need a little palate cleanser? We could do a little palate cleanser. Outlaw blues. I saw this before. Is there a harmonica on this album? No. Yes. A little bit, yeah. Not like some of those though, is it? We heard them. It's not blaring on this, is it? It's in there. It's in there. You know, Russell, these guys, They have their Halloween candy left. You know what? I'm buying my kid's insulin. Rob, could you imagine? We're not the same. Could you imagine like for a week straight, Like Aaron and Matt, Like they've had two week periods

[1:21:00]Where they've walked by like a bucket of candy And just be like, no, I'm good. I mean, I'm good. Russell, can I tell you that? Can I tell you the lowest I ever have ever gone? With candy bars. Yeah. Rock bottom. Okay. Yeah. And I'm serious about this. I always got a craving so bad. I don't know if I can say it. If it's got coconut in it. For a Mr. Good Bar. No. You know what? Wait, it's just chocolate and peanuts. It's just chocolate and peanuts. Yeah. But it's like a real bad doctor. I bought it. Yeah. And the woman like looked at me and was like, What the fuck is wrong with you? That's just like, It's not even good chocolate. Oh, but I ate it. There's another comment by Rob. Have you ever been like, This isn't even good chocolate. There's no chance Rob has ever been like, This isn't even good chocolate. I would eat Baker's chocolate when I was a kid. It has no sugar in it. I would just eat it. Because I knew it was chocolate-ish. Yeah. Yeah, please.

[1:22:00]It's like the cake mix. You eat that shit. Yeah. On the road again. Now, I cannot tell you. Rhyming socks with ice box blew my mind Because I thought of one other rhyme And he didn't do it. And I was like, dang, I couldn't think of any other rhymes. That's pretty good. I mean, he didn't. I mean, he's a poet. It was Cox. He didn't rhyme with Cox. That's what I would have done for sure. 100%. Yeah. That was the joke. Next up, 115th dream. Now listen to the lyrics At the beginning of this one. I was riding on the Mayflower And I thought I spot some land. When will you start about the Mayflower? Listen to this. What's it? He's talking about Captain A-Rab. I'll tell you what. Forget the whale. Captain A-Rab, You know what he's referencing. Okay. He's talking about that big white whale.

[1:23:00]Aaron, what's 12 inches long? Hard and white. Moby dick. Nothing. But What about kind of gray? What about kind of gray And then fire engine red? Last time I saw a bunch of whales Was when we were in Vegas Looking in the mirror. Whales. Whales. Whales. Because you were looking at whale tales. Guys, it's a list About songs that are about Moby dick. Well, how does he say Captain A-Rab Instead of A-Hab? What's going on there? I think this is about Moby dick. He's got the wrong name. Did he not know what he was talking about Or is he doing that on purpose? I see what you guys are doing Trying to derail the list Because you're super jealous of it. I think he did it To be very coy And do not gab any... He said, forget about the whale. That whole song was about Moby dick. Just like... Yeah, but why doesn't he say A-Hab? I think he changed it up So he wouldn't have any copyright issues Or anything. Hey, Rob, you mentioned derail.

[1:24:00]Are you sure you didn't mention This really years? Because if we never did that episode We would have also never talked about How Rob would stoop to any level For two chicks at the same time. He wants one hole in the camera And meanwhile they're looking deep Into his asshole. This was gross And I declared this is not A Bob's episode. This was not a Bob's episode. This really years. He's going to do it. He's doing it. When Aaron is at the beach There is only one thing he wants to see He thinks shoes are dumb Show him feet Yeah, it's amazing. And when Aaron's at the airport He always goes into heat When people at security Show their feet Women's feet Women's feet Aaron thinks they're pretty neat

[1:25:00]I apologize. Aaron thinks shoes are dumb He loves women's feet I can't believe it. Also Rob, How is it what four hours Until you're calling an Uber For your swim meet tomorrow? I forgot about that. Alright, let's get back to my list About Moby Dick. First song on the list Is Mastodon did a whole album Called Leviathan that was just about Moby Dick. I tried to listen to this Like I had a co-worker who tried to get me into Mastodon And I couldn't do it. I hate it which is why it's in the last place On my list which of course comes first. Wait, you go bottom to top On the list? I'd bottom first always. Then I think about you guys. The Decemberist, the Mariners revenge song From 2005 Russell, you might like this one. You got a little squeeze box. A little bit of a sea shanty. A squeeze box. Imagine that. I like that new song. Now Russell.

[1:26:00]No, this is so good. Let it roll. Russell, do you think today I texted The wordle group of video Of a song about a person who wants to have sex With a mermaid? There's something being on the podcast With three guys when they've got a side chain With everyone but you. And they're like, hey, remember today When I texted that side chain? Well, Russell, you want to play wordle? No, fuck no. Russell, it's not just us. It's also their wives. I've hit my max with Rob after this whole Ahab bit going on right now. Next up. I don't even think the song Is about Ahab. Aaron. Yeah. How about a little nerdcore from Oakland, California? What about Moby Dick?

[1:27:00]I own Moby Dick. I have the book. And there used to be a jacket. I got rid of the jacket. It just sits on my bookshelf now. I have the book with just Moby Dick down the spine. I bought a paperback copy that has a very nice Cover but no jacket. Okay. The number one song about Moby Dick. You can't, you wouldn't believe it. It's Tyga. It's the Ice Cream Truck Man song again? Fuck the fuck. I'm the Ice Cream Man. No, it's back to back weeks. Ice Cream Truck Man. Can't believe it. Aaron, that's what we call Business a callback. Number one, of course, Is the song that's all about Moby Dick by Led Zeppelin called Moby Dick. Bottom of your life. This is the famous Triplets song, Right? We've done this one.

[1:28:00]Guys, those are the top songs About Moby Dick. Speaking of callbacks, For the people who Did listen to this really years, Five to six minutes of stretch That we cut out, that was all about Graffiti. Rob was talking to us about Graffiti for six minutes. We cut it out. It didn't make the episode. So we didn't, didn't miss out on that. We didn't, didn't miss out on the Graffiti talk. Mr. Tambourine Man. Now the second Side of this album is all acoustic. Oh, back to his roots. We've heard this, we heard this song On the jangle guitar, the cover. But this is the original. This is the jam, right? It's great, but you can Hear. I mean, you can hear There was only someone she could do with this Sound. He had to keep growing. Gates of Eden. This is the only song recorded mono For the album. Man, you want to introduce this next Song?

[1:29:00]Oh, I like that song. I do like Gates of Eden. It's alright, Ma. I'm only bleeding. What do you think of this one, man? I think this is my favorite Bob Dylan song of all time. If you listen to the lyrics Of this, it is unbelievable. Do you hear why I say that, man? I think it's like you always Hear about him like fighting the man Or whatever. You know, with his songs And being real cute with Trying to stick it to the man. Like this, if you listen to some of these lyrics And we'll get into him some But I want to get to just a little bit Forward in the song where it Says it's alright, Ma. See if we can get to that part. Just the message You get something new every time. It's so long and I don't know why I like it But it's on my soft jams. I listen to it all the time.

[1:30:00]So, man, you get something new every time it's night? You got some new fair listeners. I completely agree with Matt And I have a different reason for it. This is also my favorite Bob Dylan song. I listen to it. I've listened to this album probably four or five times Over the last couple days. This song Is in a scene in one of the Last two or three episodes of The Sopranos When AJ Is out and he's got his Band parked on some leaves And his Jeep blows up. He's parked at catalytic converter. People are stealing those a lot of the time now, Rob. Can't have a catalytic converter anymore. The point is It's in a great scene of The Sopranos And this song, like, music's about Bringing you back to a place, right? It's like a memory and this brings me to The Sopranos. I think this is my favorite Bob Dylan song. It's for a different reason than Matt though But it's like this is Bob Dylan to me. Oh, there's that Moniker but it's just a little bit.

[1:31:00]One verse that every time I hear it, it's just like That's awesome. While some on principals baptized To strict party Platform ties, social clubs In drag disguise, outsiders They can freely criticize Tell nothing except who to idolize And then say, God bless you. Dude, he did that with NoRyme.com NoRyme.com and you put that NoRyme.com. You think this is like 65, right? When this came out. It's unbelievable And I understand why he won a Nobel Prize for literature And I understand why he gets all the accolades He gets. He's an amazing writer And I think this is his best song. I'm gonna co-side Matt. I'm with Matt. I love it for different reasons But I think it's fantastic. All tangent. Now listen, Aaron, what do you think of this song? Wait, I had the volume turned off. Why did I ever turn the volume off? The song sucks.

[1:32:00]They just said it's their favorite. Hard thing is that we can see you telegraphing that joke. I'm gonna turn my video off But I'm afraid it's gonna screw stuff up. Last song on the album. It's All Over Now Baby Blue. So good. All these songs I started from the beginning. They're so good. So good. You know what? I wanted to share. We've done this once before. I need you. So it's good. A couple thoughts on this song. One. The version of It's All Over Now Baby Blue by the Animals. We've talked About this song with them because Beck covered the them version. Remember when we talked about that a few weeks ago? Beck covered The them version of this song For Jackass. We talked about it a few weeks ago. It was podcast. Seriously. I've done this once before. You know what I loved about listening to this album?

[1:33:00]What's that? It's when the album's over on Spotify You get songs that are similar. It's true. So I wanted to share. I listened to like 20, 30 songs After this and loved all of them. But I want to share two or three of my favorite songs. I gotta get your guys' jobs. I'm busy all the time. Shut the fuck up Rob. You were just in like a play tonight at a kid's school. That's what we were talking about. Job. That's part of my job. So after this ends Here are some of the songs that I heard. Illegal Smile John Prine. For what it's worth. Is that Buffalo Springfield? Yeah. That's a good one. Simon and Garfunkel. I don't know the name of that song But you guys know what I'm talking about. Mrs. Robinson. Something that Tillerman Youssef Cat Stevens. That's my favorite Cat Stevens song.

[1:34:00]Pull this one up Rob. This was one of the songs that I don't know this song But it popped up after listening to Bob Dylan here. This is one of my favorites. Only a minute long. So good. Wine for the woman who made the rain come So good. You hear this after listening to Bob Dylan's album Just because it's not in the Spotify list Out of the Bluetooth speaker. Not a lot of bass out of that Bluetooth record player But this song This is this voice. So good. Right here. It's very loud. It's so good. Is it in? You're too old. It's so loud. I'm 44. You're too old. You can't handle Cat Stevens. Oh my God. I can't even imagine being that old. Gross. I'm the oldest guy on this podcast. Great pubes. I just realized I'm the oldest person on this podcast.

[1:35:00]Oh, old balls. So that was one of my takeaways from this album Is it's not just the album It's the music it leads you into If you just listen to How we dominate our lives. Yeah, I agree. In Russell, I say we get into the rating system. Very popular. Listen, this used to be 30. Now it's back here at 180. Our world has turned upside down. We're climbing down the mountain. Guys, this is like when you get up to Everest And we're like Two fifths of the way up And you're like, shit, I forgot something Back down at 30. I got to go back down And listen to Beyonce. We're not coming back here Until March. We're not going to be back at the heights We are right now until March.

[1:36:00]It's kind of like we're taking a little bungee dump down Which of course is a lower number on the list, better albums. But this one's at 180. We're talking about it right now. I do appreciate you though Making us go out of order tonight. We could have done Beyonce and Taylor Swift. Matt suggested maybe we go in order. You're just like, fuck it. We're going to go out of order Because we don't care. I wrote a joke about Taylor Swift. So that's the order we're going in. That is canon. You're pumping that up. Bring it all back home. It used to be 30. Now it's way up here. This is Dylan. This is fun. What are we doing? Rolling well tone should have belonged here. Rolling boned. This should not be this high up on the list. A high number should be lower on the list earlier. You should not enjoy this album. You wish this album was lower on the list Which of course is a higher number. Aaron, what do you think? Rolling well tone, rolling boned or rolling grown? This one has some great songs on it. Great songwriting. It's cool to have the electric first half And the acoustic second half.

[1:37:00]I don't know how to tell I don't know how to judge between this one And highway 61. So I think I'll call it rolling well tone But it could have been higher on the list for me. It's great music. Rolling well tone, rolling boned or rolling grown? I completely agree with Aaron. You get the electric. You got the acoustic. It's a little bit of younger Bob Dylan Kind of moving into the older Bob Dylan. I think it's just a great Mixture of everything. So again to Aaron's point How do you put this ahead of highway 61 Or where do you put it? I'll just say it's rolling well toned as well. Russell, what do you think? Rolling well tone, rolling boned or rolling grown? We listened to so many Bob Dylan albums Three years ago And back when we started the quest And it felt like too many. When you haven't heard it for a long time You listen to it and you're like damn He's an amazing writer. We've heard all these songs Be covered by other people. We did a whole list about his songs

[1:38:00]Being covered by other people and all the songs were great. I think this is rolling Boned. I think it should be higher on the list. This is maybe one of my favorite Dylan albums. Maybe I would feel different if this Would have been ranked way up by the other ones But I would listen to this again. I think there's some amazing songs in here. Matt, the one song that you referenced I also think that it's just an Epic song. No one can do anything like that. It's one of a kind. Aaron's Talked about like oops or oo boo But like Bob Dylan is one of a kind And that song is one of a kind so I'm going to say Rolling bone it should be higher on the list. I think this song Sucks. Aaron again I think that's just so terrible. Why would you say Such a thing? I absolutely love My penis. Like I wouldn't trade it For anyone else's penis. That again, that's like the Candy statement for me Russell. The runs? I wouldn't trade it. It's like having candy in the house It's unthinkable for me. So you go into a store and you're like I'm not going to do the Snickers or the Reese's

[1:39:00]I'm doing the Mr. Good bar tonight. The once and then I had to think I had to look at myself in the mirror and be like This is who you are you fucking piece of shit. It's Nestle Crunch No no no I want it like Like peanutty. Oh yeah They got these cups They're so peanutty they're going to blow your mind They taste delicious. No no I want like full peanuts But just sometimes Oh like a Snickers we've got Lots of Snickers bars. We've got lots of peanuts in the Snickers bar It's like no I want Peanuts that are like randomly around the candy bar They're probably getting ready for their swim meat They're going to leave it like an hour
