Patsy Cline: The Ultimate Collection (2000)
[0:00]For the last 10 minutes, we have been reading old descriptions of our podcast. Now, we're not listening to our own podcast. We're not creating the podcast. We are on a Zoom call reading descriptions that we've written for the podcast and then laughing about them. Yes. That is what we are doing with our Friday night. We might have hit all-time deaths, but I'll tell you what. Guess what I got to do tomorrow, Russell? What's that? Jack shit. I don't have to do anything tomorrow. I can stay up all night. As long as I wake up in time to watch the UFC fight tomorrow at 10 p.m., I'm set. You're good. I'm good. Okay. Jelly. You know what? Let's stretch out. Let's think of some long, funny bits. Now, hey, when I say long, funny bits, I know what you guys are thinking about. Don't think about that anymore. Come on. If you would have said short, funny bits, we would have been cracking up. Dang it. Dang it. Russell's short, funny bit is so much funnier than my long, funny bit. Rob, I got to say, I was. Yes. I went into a work restroom the other day, and I was walking past, and there was a gentleman
[1:00]Using one of the urinals, and he had his phone up, Rob style, and I was just. That's the worst. I was immediately like, what the fuck is wrong with you? I almost said something to the guy. I was like, what are you doing? And then it took everything to be knocked to. Was this one of your employees, Russell? No, it was someone, a stranger, someone I don't know. Stranger, okay. But it rubbed me the wrong way so bad, I almost said something to a stranger in a bathroom Over it. And then I thought of Rob, and I was like. Listen. It's lucky he's funny, because he would have no friends if he wasn't. I got to ask him, what is so important that you're going to get piss all over your phone? I don't get piss on my phone when I'm at the urinal. Haven't you heard Rosie's thing about closing the toilet when you flush the toilet and all That, close the lid and all that, the splatter? Oh, yeah. I'm pushing flush on the urinal. Who am I? I'm talking about the splatter. I'm not talking about the splatter. We're talking about the splatter. I'm talking about the splatter. Listen. You know. Well, listen.
[2:00]The splatter is the real deal. We know that. We know my pants. Splatter is the juice. We're getting back to the summer pretty soon, where you know it's shorts weather. Actually, I'm chaperoning a trip to Costa Rica next week with a bunch of high school Boys. How much did you have to pay for that? I'm getting paid. Oh. I'm a chaperone. Oh, okay. Okay. Wait, does that mean I have to drive a car? No, I'm confused. And by the way, I don't want to pass by that Russell just talked about something rubbing Him, a stranger rubbing him the wrong way at his work bathroom. Okay. I did not miss that joke. In case you were listening out there. Okay. That joke is still in the back of my head. Listen, I'm going to Costa Rica. That means I have to bring my shorts. And you know the only thing I can think about? They're going to show my piss. These shorts are going to show my piss, and I'm a chaperone. This is why I don't wear shorts at school. All of my shorts show my piss for some reason. When I'm done peeing, I get a spot of piss on my shorts, and they all like, it turns Like, for some reason, it's like I'm going painting in the dark, Russell. It becomes like this big bright spot on my pants. You're like the Liam Neeson of New York. Private school. Yeah, except for some reason, the piss is up higher than you think it's going to be.
[3:00]You're like, why is the piss so high? That's much higher. It's almost by his belt. It's almost by the button. Do we have to start calling him Liam instead of Rob? Listen, if I peed my pants and it came out as low as it did on Liam Neeson, I would be Thrilled. Matt, can we get Aaron to say Liam before the podcast is over or not? Let's try it. We'll see if we can do that. Now, listen, if you saw Liam Neeson using a urinal, by the way, first of all, if you Flush urinals, what's your problem? Okay. Grow up. We're not flushing urinals. He's probably going to use the short ones. That's what Liam is Liam Neeson would have to use the kids urinals or otherwise it'd be like an Elephant at the watering hole. I mean, look out. He's not. He's not. He's not running a snake through the drains. He's just going to the bathroom now. Oh, Russell, we wanted to play. Let's get started here. Oh, yeah. I was going to say I was watching the Wolves game tonight in the Miami Heat. We're wearing the Miami Vice. I'm going to do the Miami Vice theme song tonight. Very strong. Oh, wait, I shouldn't be talking.
[4:00]In 2020, four friends decided to listen to every one of the greatest 500 albums that Decided by Rollerstone magazine. This resulted in a text chain that celebrated the music, excoriated the order, and led us To making this podcast. We are far from experts. We promise to do almost no research. All opinions are our own, unless you disagree. Did this show make you want to live in Miami more than anything in your life? You'd have to wear shorts every day down there. You'd have to wear shorts every day down there. You'd have to wear shorts every day down there. You'd have to wear shorts every day down there. You'd have to wear shorts every day down there. You'd have to wear shorts every day down there. You'd have to wear shorts every day down there. Rob, you think you'd get any action with you and your piss pants? There's not a lot of scenes of guys trying to rub their pants or do the classic Rob move Where you wash your hands and then rub that on your pants so the hand-washing water blends With the piss so nobody knows. Hey, we're going to go meet Liam over at Prime 112 if you want to come. No, I'm playing High Live, which is what I thought a lot of people in Miami were doing According to this intro. All opinions are our own, unless you disagree. Please sit back and enjoy Beck. Beck did it better. We are all the way up to 229, and from the year 2000, not 1998.
[5:00]There's an album named The Ultimate Collection by Patsy Cline from 1998. This is the one from 2000, okay? Hey, Rob, if you notice, it's The Ultimate Connection. I'm wearing my Ultimate Warrior shirt in honor of The Ultimate Connection. I was wondering why Patsy Cline was on the cover of the album grabbing the ropes and Shaking the violin, but now it makes sense. And he did Ultimate Warrior. Ultimate Warrior's special move, cocaine. From 2000, we have Patsy Cline with The Ultimate Collection. You guys check your mics, because I didn't hear you laugh on that one. With The Ultimate Collection. Is this a best of? No, don't bring up the best ofs. You know Russ gets mad about that. Listen, that's... Oh, that's why I was saying, you're 64 for 64, Rob. What's that? I've started keeping track. On what? You've asked for... Hey, I need help, guys. I need help. Give me your opinions. You're 64 for 64. Of not taking anybody's opinion every time somebody gives you something to go with.
[6:00]It's true. If there's one thing I hate, it's other people's opinions. I can't stand them. I would say... Even though you asked for... Brian from East St. Paul, when you were asking about some jokes, I forget what he had, but He had some good jokes for you to pull, and you didn't use one of them. When I think about what pisses me off, 99% of it is other people's opinions. Okay? The rest of the 1% is mistakes I've made. You know how opinions are like assholes? Everyone's got a podcast. Is that right? Yeah, that's right. I was going to say something about starting with an O, but that's... Never mind. Listen, we have the ultimate collection. Ultimate collection. Ultimate collection. You look up to the sky, you see the warriors coming to the ultimate connection. You know what? That would have been a better bit than what I'm about to do, the bit I wrote. That's the ultimate collection. That's different than... That's the website my wife keeps going to. It's called the alternate mate collection.
[7:00]Alternate mate collection. Alternate mate collection. She wants a virulent young lover. What can I do? A what? What is that word? What's that? What is that word? Virulent. I think it means... Look it up. Let's see it. Okay, let's look up virulent. Virulent. It's probably defined as... How does Rob spell virulent? Virulent. Has not gone to a cardiologist in the last 12 months. Virulent. Extremely severe. Extreme severe or harmful in its effects. Well, that doesn't seem to... What I wanted to say. Virulent lover. Am I using virulent wrong? It sounded really smart though, Rob. It did sound really smart. I'm going to type in virulent lover. Let's see what that says. Okay. Lover. Virulent lover. Felipe Russo. It's a... Oh what? You can buy... No, it's a song. I waited for your love. This is on SoundCloud. As patient as a virus. Waits for us to invade. What is going on? This is the low point in five years of doing this podcast.
[8:00]How many times have people listened to this? I waited for your love. We're the 10th play. As patient as I was. Where's Aaron? We need Aaron so bad. Look up Felipe Russo. Look him up on like Instagram or something. Okay, Felipe Russo. Okay, Felipe. We get it. Is this virulent? What are we doing? This is virulent lover. The song by... Are we playing a parody? Yes, we've got a parody. Let's get into it. Now, listen. You get it rolling. I've got... Oh, okay. Let's get in. We've got the parody song. Aaron's showing up in a little bit. But let's just... You know what? Russell, today I'm going to turn on the radio. Let's turn it on now. Ham. Ham. It's a ham radio. He's turning on the ham radio. This is a capital F-M radio song. Okay, Russell? Let's get into it. Let's turn it on K-Rob. K-R-O-B. What's up, everybody? Welcome to K-Rob. K-R-O-B. Today, we're sponsoring... Sponsored by Blue Gatorade. Well, my legs keep on cramping when I'm fucking.
[9:00]Oh. Oh. My hammies get all tied when I screw. I get a Charlie Horster in copulation. Copulation. I get spasms any time that I do you. Oh. When I bang you legs. I get spasms any time that I do you. I get spasms any time that I do you. I get spasms any time that I do you. I get spasms any time that I do you. I get spasms any time that I do you. I get spasms any time that I do you. I get spasms any time that I do you. Usually, the cramps happen when I'm having sex with another person. So, it wasn't...
[10:00]Rob, I notice you always go to Blue Gatorade. I gotta be honest. Yep. Blue Gatorade is not my favorite. Russell, can I just ask you? Russell, when you're done screwing, what color Gatorade do you like to drink? I like the Red Gatorade Zero. Oh, God. Oh, I can't think of a Gatorade I'd want less after screwing than the Red. Why not? I hate Red Gatorade. I think it's the worst flavor. I would rather have the cucumber. No, that's horrible. That's an atrocity. Hey what? Bring back the ice. A Gatorade I once drank so much of, I barfed during captain's practice in high school football. You like the Red Zero. I mean, the Zero is superior. That's when you know you're a grown man is when you're drinking Gatorade Zero. I've got two guys here who go cucking after midnight. Oh, wow. I've got Matt in Minneapolis. Matt, how are you doing? Good, Rob. You want me to act like we've never kissed? You want me to forget? Pretend we've never met? Wow. No, we've never kissed. I had to think about that.
[11:00]No, though. Russell, I feel like if I kissed Matt, I would remember that. You know what I mean? Well, it'd be pretty insulting if you didn't remember it. Matt's like, yeah, we kissed. Remember that time in Vegas? I'd be like, nah, sorry. Doesn't ring a bell. Russell, I've got Russell in Minneapolis. Russell, how are you doing? Rob, tonight I'm going to be so good to you. I'll laugh at all your jokes. The whole way through, pretty soon you'll feel the same. You won't even know Matt and Aaron's name. I'll give you an improv partner they can't beat, And I'll let you rag on Aaron's Pichon for feed. Rob, when I get through with you'll love me true. Russell, have you ever thought about hosting And doing all the work for this podcast? Because it seems like you're really good at it. Did you notice how much effort I put in for the Rihanna one, The second of two recordings tonight? No, I haven't noticed that yet, but I will comment on that later. That's a good call. Listen, let's not mess around. Let's get right into the voicemail. Oh, we got one, huh? We've got so many. Don't call anywhere. We don't need you. Rosie's not coming on because his wife says it's Friday night.
[12:00]Wife's got some yoga class till nine o'clock. So he's got a... Russell, don't do that. When we say his wife's in yoga class, You make that disgusting gesture. Don't do that. What was that? Yeah, he said specific. Aaron says specific. Have you ever noticed that? That's a bit we should start where we say Aaron says specific Instead of Pacific. Pacific. Okay. This week, I'm going to the Minnesota State Boys Hockey Tournament, Which is the greatest sporting event, SOTA. What sporting event would you all love to go to sometime before you die? Bye. Wow. What a question. What sporting event do you want to go to? Now, of course, the Minnesota Hockey State Tournament, So big that even students I have out here know it's a big deal. If they play hockey, they know it's a big deal. Okay. What sporting event would you want to go to? Boy, I just don't know. I just don't care about anything. It's a problem. I guess when it comes down to it, I would probably say some big UFC fight.
[13:00]If there was a big UFC fight for Madison Square Garden And I could get front row seats, I'd be down. Otherwise, I don't know. Do I want to go to a championship game? Do I want to go to the Super Bowl? Man, am I getting old when all I think about when I think about the Super Bowl Is like lines, how long lines would be? That makes me old, right? Well, think about lines. Think about all the sitting around doing nothing while there's all those commercials. I don't know. It just feels like so many commercials. I'm with you. I think I would at this moment in my life, I would love to go see some like huge English Premier League soccer match Or something like that for something like just because it's so different Than what we've got here. And it's so much more intense that I would love to go over to England And watch some Premier League championship. I want to go to like one of those Serbian basketball games. You know, they always show those. I want to go to a sporting event where I might get hit with a fucking flare. What is that? What is it? There's a. It's a pretty good quote with Jokic or something like that. They're like, hey is this environment Does it intimidating? And he's like, no, brother, I grew up in Serbia. And then it cuts to this insane.
[14:00]I'm telling you guys, if you're not on TikTok, what are you doing? Why are you letting your brain not let not letting the Chinese get my information, Rob? I'm not going to do it. The Chinese got my information and they're deeply disturbed. OK, they are. They do not like what they see. I'd buy TikTok for you, Paige. I could tell you that. I think. Did I tell you this, that I deleted the Instagram off my phone? So, yeah. So I don't know what's going on in Magic Mike's life. I feel like we're not friends anymore. And it's about the only thing that I miss about TikTok is not knowing what's going on In Magic Mike 69's life. But it is unbelievably awesome to not have social media. I just have to say that. I can't imagine. How else do you see AI girls kissing each other? I don't. Oh, that's crazy. This is the future is now, Matt. Girls are kissing each other in swimsuits and I'm looking to see if I can see their fingers To tell if it's AI. That's that's what my life is right now. What's up, Russ? I was going to say, I could see you going to a UFC thing. There's there's one thing that you have perfectly. There's one thing you're missing. What's that?
[15:00]You are like MMA fans and that you wear bedazzled jeans. That is like an MMA fan to wear jeans that have like spectacle like on the back Butt cheeks on the pocket. Can I tell you they were not bedazzled? I think so. They had leather pockets. They had leather pocket covers and they were not bedazzled. There was a shiny button on them. They were not bedazzled. It was a shiny button on leather pocket covers. OK, these are not my Ed Hardy jeans or whatever. You probably would have to turn in your T-shirt that I come when I hear The THX out and get some affliction shirts, though. I think you have to have like an affliction shirt. I don't think you could wear your Crocs to that, though. I think you would get in a fight if you wear Crocs to that event. Well the Crocs I'm wearing now, Russell. First of all, I think one of you dipshits told me I should put my shoes on. I should put my shoes in the laundry to clean them. Well, guess what happens when you put Crocs in the dryer? Let me actually. Nobody said Crocs. They said shoes, Rob.
[16:00]They said shoes. Does he have yellow underwear on? I don't know if it was underwear or shorts or what he's got going on. Nobody told you to put Crocs in the dryer. They told you to put your shoes in the dryer. Crocs are not shoes. Actually, my wife actively tried to fight me putting these Crocs in the dryer. I had them in there. She took them out and I said. This dummy, she doesn't know what's going on. She knew what was going on. I can put my shoes in the laundry. So I put in my brand new Crocs. Look what happened to them. Look at this. They're kind of bent in half. They look like. Looks like. They look like elf shoes. Is that what I would describe? It honestly looks like. Like the toes go up. If you hold it at the wrong angle, it looks like a filthy adult toy. It does. Yeah. Wait a minute. This sucks. I don't even know. No it literally sucks. So your wife tried to help you, Rob, and you didn't want her advice. She could have saved your Crocs. Yeah. She actually took them out and had them air drying and I put them back in and ruined my Shoes. Now, the other question is, why haven't I thrown these away? I cannot wear these.
[17:00]These do not fit on my feet. And you know why I haven't, Russell? You know what the plan is for this? What's that? I'm putting in my shoe trees into this to see if I can stretch it back out to make it Work. Now, these shoes cost about $30. Rob, I bet you could just treat them like mouth guards back in the day. Just drop them in some boiling water and then get them a little so they're malleable And then put your. Put your shoes in there. You know what? You got me in this fucking mess, man. And I think you're going to get me out. This is a great plan. I see exactly how this is just like mouth guards. This is a, that's a brilliant plan. I did not get you in this mess. You did. You said put shoes in the wash. I said put shoes. I didn't, I never said put Crocs. I would not consider Crocs. What's the shoes? What's the difference? Russell, where would you go for a gym? Laces, leather. The one thing I was going to say about put stuff in the dryer. I don't think I have the patience or the mental. I could not deal. I could not deal with shoes rattling around in a dryer for an hour. I would lose my mind if that was going on. That's what you just, you do it, but then you leave. You just, you put them in Then you go out to dinner or something like that where you don't have to
[18:00]Listen to it. Listen, Russell, I looked it up and you know what? That's banging spad. You know what Google AI said? You know what? That stuff is a lot of good stuff up on that top part. Would you Google now? Things are definitely aren't getting worse. It says you throw in some towels and then the shoes bang around with the Towels and it's not so bad. So something to think about. But for some of our listeners up there that may or may not live above me There's only so many towels we should put in the dryer or the washer at Once. My God. Are you dating my daughter? She puts in like 20 towels at a time. Okay. And then it's like, I don't know why this doesn't work. And meanwhile, water is just streaming out. I'm like, yeah, I don't understand why. Yeah. Why is this washing machine? Why is it not? First of all, any longer? Hey, guess what? Kids apparently part of parenting, A big part of parenting is saying don't use one towel a day. You can use a towel for an extended period of time. Hey, you guys are looking at me like I might be wrong. Am I supposed to be washing my towel every day? No, there's, you can use it for multiple times. I am guilty of going far too long, but they say
[19:00]Like three or four, three, this was on another radio show one time. So I've heard they say three or four times and then you should be changing It out. I go far longer than that. I'll admit that. Far longer than that. Yeah. Yeah. A couple of weeks maybe. Oh, a couple of weeks. That's a little, that's a little on the long side there, man. I see. I give my dog baths and then I use my towel and that's when it's time to Trade towels with my wife. That's what we do instead of changing towels. And she doesn't know this. We just trade dolls. She loves it. She loves my musk. That's what she's always saying to me or something like that. I don't know. Russell, where are you going for a championship game? Is it championship game or sporting? Oh, I'm sorry. Any sporting event. You know, I think I would love to do the Kentucky Derby at some point in Life, but I've got to worry about that. And it's kind of like Rob's piss pants worry. It's I feel like the Kentucky Derby is going to be like a hundred degrees And you've got to be dressed up for it. And the idea of me like standing in like dress clothes and being outside
[20:00]And it's a hundred degrees with a thousand, like 80,000 people seems like It would be overwhelming for me. I don't think I could handle the heat. Here is the most, what is it? The most exciting minute in sports. Look at that guy over there, sweating his ass off. Everybody. Wait, put the camera on that guy. From Churchill Downs. You, Russell. Secretariat is defending his title. You, Russell, you look just like one of these jockeys. Get in there. We need you. You know what? One of my favorite kinds of movies is horse movies because every single Horse movie is like, Hey, that horse was never going to be fast. And at the end, they're like, that horse is pretty fucking fast. Everyone. It's so great. Going to the masters is pretty fun. I did that in 2017. That's a pretty good. Opportunity service. I was olives there though. Isn't there some olive based food? Pimento, olive loaf for two bucks. You're out. You know where I'm going to watch my golf? Saudi Arabia.
[21:00]I got a text from Aaron, by the way. And he said, Oakland A's game. So that's, I got bad news for him. As a sporting event, he would love to go to. Yeah, no. Instead he, he sent me, he said women's bodybuilding. Then he sent me the one of the, I didn't even know these emojis existed. The ones he sent me, but it was like a peace sign. And then he sent me the, I didn't even know these emojis existed. And then a tongue. It didn't make sense to me. Really. All right, let's get into rolling going. Algorithms are the worst. It's time to see what everybody's up to. Speaking of algorithms, We're going to be releasing a very special Roy airs episode tomorrow. Yeah. We're talking about somebody who you probably won't talk about again. And that is a, a vibraphonist that their name. Like actually tomorrow. So like this is coming out on a Tuesday. So Wednesday or tomorrow is Saturday. I was saying tomorrow for us. So it's already released. It's already released. And that's a Rob guarantee. And I almost said my last name there. Maybe someone will call in and say, Hey,
[22:00]They like the extra mini episode in a week. Give us some feedback on it. Guess what? I don't need any calls. Voicemail is full up. Okay. We don't need any support from the fans. We're doing fine. I've had it up to here with these voicemails. Yeah, exactly. By Google. My Google voice is full. Russell rolling going. How's it going with you? Rolling. Things are going well. You know, last week or a couple of weeks ago, I started chat GPT and we were using AI to kind of supplement my thoughts on The albums and my, my takes on, on music. And that night I started using chat GPT and AI for some other things. And I started asking it questions about the podcast. And so I thought I could share with you guys some of the questions I asked And some of the answers we got. Does that sound like a fun? Fun time to you guys? Russell, this sounds like a great time. We're going to go into the computer. All right. The first question, I've got a few of them. I'll jump around a little bit. The first question I asked is Beck did it better?
[23:00]A good podcast. Wow. What do you guys think it said? And then I'll give you guys the answer. What do you think it said? I think it was pretty wishy-washy. It probably had some like it has no idea what Beck did it better. So it said it could be a good podcast, but it's a listeners or there's not that many Listeners and anybody who does listen is a dumbass. I would have to say with the internet's power, microprocessors able to listen to all These episodes and make an amalgamation of literally thousands of hours of Work for us. Okay. I would say it would return three letters. M E H. Meh. Meh. Yeah. I mean, sometimes they're good, but sometimes they're so long. Meh. Yeah. And it seems like Rob is doing other stuff when he's editing and not catching all the Coughs anymore. Like maybe he's watching videos at the same time or something. Who knows? Says Beck did it better. Has generally received positive. Feedback from listeners, especially if you're a fan of Beck or just in a music podcast that Deep dive into an artist catalog. Wow. Podcast tends to offer a good mix of humor, thoughtful analysis, and a genuine appreciation
[24:00]For Beck's eclectic style and influence on music. Wow. Hosts often bring in an interesting perspective and have a knack for making even the most Obscure tracks or albums feel exciting to explore. That's what it is. That's what it is. Russell. Nowhere on there was there the words. Dribble was not included in there, which is great. We may have other versions of that word coming up. The next question I asked Rob, I know it's important to you. We got to have the attention on the main host. Is Rob a good main host of Beck did it better? What do you guys think AI said for this one? Is Rob a good host? Wow. It definitely said awesome. He should quit his job as a teacher. He's wasting his time chaperoning kids to Costa Rica. He should be doing standup and being a full-time podcast host. Can I tell you what's really fucked about that right now? What's that? For the first time ever, I looked at one of my paychecks at the end of the year to see
[25:00]How much I made over a year. I had no concept of how much I was making. First time ever. I've never done it before. I've never been like, cause I, not only do I teach, but I coach and I do all this extra Stuff. So I've never actually added up those fortified numbers. You never looked at your W2 or whatever at the end of the year and said, Oh, I'm going To help. Matt, that's a sign that his spouse makes bank. Never. Well, yeah. Well, yes, that's true. Okay. But he did say that she makes $2.7 million a year. Listen, that would be great. If you, I would be out here so fast. These episodes would be 10 hours long cause I would never have anywhere to go. Okay. You could get, if you could get half of that and go be back on the dating scene, you'd Kind of have, you kind of have to you might have to the dating support, You know, I have gotten. I'm scared off the dating scene, Russell, by you and by the changes to my body from The ravages of time. Now I'm going to tell you guys a number and I'm going to bleep it out. Okay. I make a thousand dollars a year.
[26:00]Hey, now mind you, I don't work three months of the year. That is a crazy amount of money. I should not be getting paid that much. That is way more than I deserve. Okay. That is like six times what I made my first job at war road. It's crazy. Six times. Six times. And I teach about half as much. I teach four classes. It's crazy. So you make $720,000 and I'm, and I am fucked because I can't quit in my head this whole Time. I've been like, I can quit my job at any time. Guys, if I can't, you quit. If I quit my job pension, we're in big trouble. No, financially, my wife and I are in big trouble. If I quit. Okay. It turns out the amount of money I'm making actually covers a lot of the dumb shit I like To do. Yeah. But I love eating gold. Obviously AI thinks I'm a great main host and it's been it's been a long Time. You know what? AI is loving me right now. What's going on? Let's tell me. Rob is a strong main host of the Beck did it better podcast. He brings a lot of energy and passion to the show. Wow. His style is relaxed, but insightful.
[27:00]And he has a way of making complex or niche music decisions, discussions feel approachable For the listeners, whether they're diehard Beck fans or just getting into the chick. Rob's enthusiasm for Beck's work shines through, which adds to the overall vibe of the podcast. There you go, Rob. Russell. This is one of the greatest days of my life. I'm getting compliments. I love this shit, Russell. I mean, he did it up. Give it to me. What else? Give me another compliment, Russell. Let's go. We'll get, we'll get to see what Beck, AI thinks of Matt's contributions to the podcast. Here's the question. Okay. Let's hear it. Is, is Matt the mean old daddy on the Beck did it better podcast? Okay. What do you think AI thinks? Is Matt the mean old daddy of the Beck did it better podcast? I mean, obviously if you have the Apple phone, when you, Listen to this podcast, the entire transcript now pops up, it's crazy. They have automatically made a transcript of everything we say. And when you read it, instead of listening to it, it's the show sounds absolutely insane.
[28:00]So I'm thinking that the AI has read all these transcripts. And I know I've mentioned in the show description, I'm going to say they, the AI, the computers, The Chinese do think Matt is a mean old daddy. Matt, what do you think? I was reading an article. I didn't even remember what, What are we talking about? All right. Here's what it says, Matt. Ha ha. Yes. Matt is often affectionately referred to as the mean old daddy on Beck did it better. It's a playful nickname that the host, especially Rob likes to throw around because Matt tends To have a bit more critical or blunt take on things. He's not afraid to offer a dissenting opinion or challenge the others when they're gushing Over a particular track or album. That all said, it's all in good fun. His mean old daddy persona adds a bit of spice and balance to the show. Wow. Man, you're so great. Aaron, just in case you're wondering, Russell has been talking for the last hour about a, He's asked questions to AI about the podcast. So I'm a little worried about Russell's free time.
[29:00]Maybe how this relationship is going. Seems like he's mostly interacting with AI. This seems to be a sim one type situation. Okay. If we see a sex doll in the background for the next episode, Russell will know something's up. We'll ask. We'll, we'll, we'll, we'll give Aaron a, the next question so we can get a vibe For what we're doing here. So there, and I asked AI the other day. Is cohost Aaron's culinary habits, one of the funniest things on the Beck did it better Podcast. What do you guys think AI said? Okay. What did it say? Definitely. Yes, absolutely. What did it say? Aaron's culinary habits have definitely become one of the funniest and most memorable aspects Of the podcast. It's becoming an ongoing joke on the podcast that fans look forward to. It adds a lot of humor to the show. Yeah. Aaron has a tendency to bring up bizarre food choices or quirky eating habits. And it's a lot of humor to the show. In a way that's both hilarious and endearing, whether he's describing love for some weird Combination or ingredient sharing story about his latest food experiment, it never fails To get a laugh from the audience.
[30:00]So that's, I'm telling Aaron, I think it's like going through our transcripts and reading About us. Oh yeah. Okay. And that's why I know that Rob has a big penis, a big old gray penis, big penis. Okay. Put that away in your matrix type stuff. So when you take my brains for its juices, you'll know that I have a penis. I asked AI, is the map segment on Beck did it better where the guys talk about directions In Minneapolis, St. Paul? What do you think it said, Rob? Is this maps a good segment? I'm going to say that it actually, that nobody likes that segment. Nobody does like that segment. Everybody loves it. It's a great segment. Can't beat it. AI says, ha ha. Yes. The map segment is where they talk about directions has definitely become one of the most absurd And beloved bits on the podcast. Wow. Beloved. So this is the whole night. Russell's doing AI bits. He was talking politics earlier.
[31:00]So, oh yeah. Great. But the host made it hilarious. I'm not even paying attention to that anymore. Russell, can I just ask you, and I want you to be honest with me, Russell, don't Lie. Don't lie to me. Okay. How long were you typing questions to AI and then recording the answers down? Like just, let's just say how long Russell time-wise? We're talking time, not inches. I'd say eight minutes. Why do you lie to me, Russell? I was looking upstairs while we were watching the wolves. Okay. Well, these are good questions for eight minutes of work. God dang. Russell recently bought tickets to go see the Spurs game. He was excited to see a certain basketball player. Oh yeah. Okay. Great. Oh, I have the blood clots. Oh, we were just, I was just talking about your impressions at breakfast this morning, Rob. Oh. I was trying to do an impression that wasn't really landing. And I was like, that happens sometimes on my podcast. Oh no. Has he heard my Paul McCartney? I don't know. Not if it's not, if it's not in the Christmas Beck did it better.
[32:00]Probably not. That's the last thing you heard. Hello. Hello. I have your aunt's haircut, mate. Isn't that Ringo? I thought that was Ringo. It's not Ringo. He doesn't have your aunt's haircut. All right. I'll give you one more question. Then we'll move it on for rolling. Go on. Here's one thing I had to ask it. How come the Beck did it better podcast? Doesn't generate any revenue. What do you guys think it's saying? Why does AI think we're not generating any revenue? I think it says it does get a ton of revenue. Yeah. And then it just goes right into an LLC with a called. Can I tell you something? Yeah. It's actually an S corp. I am putting out stocks in this podcast. So if you want to invest in an IPO, okay. What's opening at a very fair price. Okay. It's been, I thought we were doing a, I thought we were doing one of those Coins. Yeah. We're doing a meme coin. We're doing a meme coin. We're doing foot coin. Oh, foot coin guys. AI thinks it's a bit of a head scratcher. It's good. It gave us five reasons why we're not generating a revenue.
[33:00]Number one, Aaron niche audience. It said Mitch audience niche. I was like Mitch audience. That's the same audience. Number two. Okay. So the niche audience is just people who know us. That's what it says. And charm and magic. We're so stupid. We don't use our last names. The three people who don't know us are mystified. It does say if the audience is smaller, it could be harder to attract major advertisers. So that could be, Oh, that might be, what's going on. Listen, we, we didn't get major advertisers, but a dollar general did. He wasn't a major. He's a general. Number two, lack of monotase monetization strategy. We don't have a market. We don't have a monetization strategy. It says Rob. Oh yeah. When you do the strategy, you've addressed the concern. Why don't we have a monetization strategy? Why don't you ask what can we ask? What a good monetization strategy should be for a podcast of our nature.
[34:00]No need. I can tell you what it is right now. One word raffle. We're going to start having a raffle on the show. Okay. Send us some money on pay on a Venmo. Venmo me some money. I'll give you a number and then I'll tell you if your numbers get cut. I will contact you later. So just send me some Venmo money. Are we selling off tickets to the bus ride to the Bordello or whatever? I can't remember what we call it. Bordello Aaron. Some sort of ranch. Aaron, are you a cowboy who has ventured into Mexico? Yeah. Bordello. Oh my God, Aaron. They would charge your ass so much money if you went in and called it a Bordello. They'd be like, this nerd's never been laid in his life. This guy's got it coming. Russell, I say yay to your AI bit. I'm going to say yay to your AI bit. I want you to continue that bit. I want you to ask questions. I think it's a great idea. Okay. Now I am nervous that you are going to fall in love with the AI. Oh, okay. Oh, that movie. Yeah.
[35:00]Which way? Which one was that? The one with Scarlett Johansson and Joaquin Phoenix. Scarlett Johansson was the voice. I was thinking about that stuff that Aaron and I saw at CES the other day. In the pervert corner? In the pervert corner. Well, yeah. Pervert hour. Pervert hour in the pervert corner. It was the time of day. Aaron, now I've got Aaron out in California. Now, Aaron was telling me he was buying a car, and this guy said, Hey, this car can fit you and your wife no problems. And Aaron goes, oh, no. We've got lots of problems. Wait, what? What's the joke? Hey, Rob. Rob, remember when you were talking about Matt and I? Should we clap? Glad Aaron got on. Glad Aaron saved the day, Rob. I'm confused here. Aaron was buying a car. And the guy said, Hey, this car can fit you and your wife no problem. And he goes, oh, no, that's too bad. My wife and I have lots of problems. I swear when you first said it, you said it could fit me and my wife and all our problems, right?
[36:00]Isn't that what he said? You're going to hear it thrown back. And then I was like, not good. I'll be loving you guys always. Is that track on here? I'm not sure because I mean, I don't know. Hey, I got news for you. Every fucking track is on this album. This is. Russell, show him the shirt. What collection is this, Russell? It's the ultimate collection, Aaron. If you look up into the sky, you will see country music artists like Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson and Loretta Lee. But Aaron, it's kind of like the website my wife has been going to, the alternate mate collection, which is. And she kind of wants a virulent young lover. We cannot do the virulent young lover again. I'm off the podcast. What does that mean? Can we look that up? What is the definition of that? What if we Google it and somebody sounds? I don't know how it comes up, but it's really awkward. Oh, put it on for Aaron. You got to put it on for Aaron. This is the low point of the podcast. I missed the low point. Virulent lover. There's a song. Oh, great.
[37:00]Virulent lover. Yeah, it's a song. Hold on. Get ready. Have you heard of Felipe Russo? No. Hey, it's up to 11 plays. One more last time. This guy got the last year of the only choir over here. Oh, no. Russell. We can't. I waited for. Listen. How did you go to the end? Just let's listen to the last 20 seconds. What if it gets really good? That's right. For a cell to two minutes of 43 seconds to divide, to multiplicate. You know what? So it's really sad, though, is I'm listening to this. And you know what I'm thinking? It's not that much different than our podcast. You know what I mean? Like somebody's listening to our podcast is going to be like, who are these dumb fucks? You know what I was thinking? This is what's going to get us a copyright strike. That's it. That's the one. Felipe Russo. We want to license your work. Please reach out to us. Cease and desist. Rolling going. How's it going with you? Rob, you're. It's really going great. You're opening.
[38:00]Was that a joke or opening salvo? I'm not sure what it was to introduce me. Was apt. I did buy a car today. And I was at the game again. Yeah, I'm just buying. Damn. You love buying car guy now, guys. No, we've always had two cars. I'm sorry. Hummer. Hummer. We've always had. Age three. We've always had one car. We've been a one car family for. It's a three row. We had to get a three row. But we've been a one car group for our entire life together. But you get a kid. They get into activities. He likes to cart his buddies around. Like Anna's got to go to the office now. So we decided we're going to do a second car. So now we got two cars. Kids love. Kids love getting activities with a lot of shit involved. Yeah. Don't they? Yeah. Your kid. Your kid is never just like, oh, I'm going to go and run. Yeah. Cross country run where you don't have to do anything. Yeah. No. I was like, dad, I'm swimming. I need to do a towel every day. Baseball season starts tomorrow. And we got I had to like bring a net to practice because we don't have
[39:00]A backstop at Caldecott field. So now we got room for four kids in the car. So I did go out to conquer. That's such a mistake today. I would have just rode my bike every time. So I never had to drive any of those kids. I was asking for more responsibility. Yeah. I'd love to give Jimmy a ride, but I've had multiple DWIs. Okay. I don't want to have to say that to you. I simply cannot drive these kids to baseball. I cannot be trusted. So I went back out to see my friend Chong Li at or Chong He at a future hunt of conquered Who treated me well with the Ionic five in January. So I sent her a text and she was available today at 1, 1 PM. And I thought I was going to be out there by three. I really did. Like I, oh, guys, are you a dumbass? Dumb fuck. How many cars have you bought? What's crazy is it was still an hour after I signed everything. It was like, I'm like, guys, I did it. Like I gave you the money. We did the thing. Like it's already, it's signed.
[40:00]Like you know, nope. Still an hour. They're back there. They're back there with a number on the board of what time they're going to get you out Of there. And they're all trying to win the pot. Look at this 756 trans unions going on. Yeah. I bet there's no way this dumb fuck will sit around for 50 minutes after we have them sign Anything. And we won't give him the keys. I bet he's too scared to ask us for the keys. I bet he won't do it. She took, no. Well, first they were taking the hitch off my old car. So they had the old car up to get the hitch off of there. And then it was all done. And then she took the car back to get a scratch buffed off of the back of the new one. Cause like, I don't know what she was so they treat me nice out there. If you're trying to have concrete and I, you guys, I won this time. I didn't accept their first offer. Matt's got nice monetization there. Yeah. Nice. Nice. Thank you. Go ahead, Matt. What? What floor mats do you have in your new car? That is a great question. We just have the stock formats right now because in the other new car, the other Hyundai, we Have the old Subaru mats because Anna rescued the old Subaru mats from the other mats in
[41:00]The Hyundai into the electric. And this one's a hybrid SUV. Did you take the new car and give your wife the used car new car for daddy? What are we talking here? It's probably. Yeah. Well, cause yeah, because she'll need the, well, no, she'll need, well, they're all new. But the new S1. Oh, they're all new. They're all new, sweetie. Don't worry about it. You sound like Rob. Well, but I did. I mean, I didn't want to have to do this. I've got so many new cars around. I didn't want to have to do this. I didn't want to have to tell this story, but I did. He's getting a third car. I did. Kid needs a car. I did scratch the door of the new electric car two weekends ago. Oh, wait, no. Yeah. Oh, sorry. Bugsong. That's not, you're, you're not a bad dad for doing that. Sorry about that. Here we go. Wow. Did you, it was you that scratched it. It wasn't like some, it was me. Somebody dinged it or something. It was me. I wish I could say this. Okay. Let's hear the story. Let's hear it. I was like, who parked like this?
[42:00]Dumb shit. I'm going to key this car. He's like, Oh no, I forgot. It's a new Hyundai. Wallace and I were, this was, so this was the older new car. The one I bought in January. They're all leases. I, I like leasing cars. I don't know. I like getting a new car every three years. We know it's so strange. It's an illness. The podcast has learned. You have a dealer's number. You have a dealer's number on your phone that you text. Nobody else has that. I would never go back to the same car dealer. I would never call ahead and be like, I need to talk to James at the dealership. This guy treated me really well. It's something nobody's ever said. Leave it at car dealership. Walking in Chong, he's so happy to see me. She's like a little grandmotherly type. I bet. It's perfect. Yeah. Yeah. I bet she's thrilled. Aaron. It's the same reason like a bear is excited when like a cow wanders into the woods. But I played two dealerships against each other this time. I had a car. I had a quote from the other dealership and I had it on my phone. I said what? I saw a lower quote and they got me down to the lower quote. So I feel like a real deal maker. I'm ready to be in the government.
[43:00]You know what? That is fucking baller, Aaron. I can't even argue with that. When you just give it to them and they just have to take it. Okay. Cause you know what? Some of these cars, we should be making these cars in the United States. And I got some stuff to say about that. Russ went on a big tirade about it earlier, but I think you're, we're making a lot of Part of the car scene that it says like it's, it's happening. Actually. For a minute, she took my phone. Cause like they always got to go back to the person behind them. Right. So I go like, I go, Hey, I got this other quote from the San Leandro and she goes, show Me, I go here. And she goes, he goes, can I take that? I was like, sure. Can you, what could be on those other like open browsers you have in There? You can't give her your phone. Yeah. That. And Rob, you would never, I was already, I was texting with the, with Abdul from San Leandro. And I was like, well, now he's going to text me. Well, Chong, he's got my phone and she's going to see that I'm trying to play the two dealerships Against each other, but he didn't respond quick enough. So he missed out. Listen, did she say like, Hey, I had your phone. I'm just wondering, do you always get 30 to 35 texts over five minutes about baseball Mitts or the high school hockey tournament?
[44:00]Like, is that normal? Is that your whole life? It seems like maybe it would be extraordinarily hard to keep up with these Texts. If you were had a busy day and maybe you just have to give up and kind of scroll the end And hope they didn't mention you. Yeah. I'll just talk about how the, I'll just talk about how. Oh, well, the bit fits pretty perverted. That's the, I get the, that's the other whole thing going on. I get to scratch it, Aaron. So this was so dumb. So we were at, whilst I went to meet some friends at the Almanac brewery, down In Alameda, which is, through the Webster tube. So you got to take eight 80, 80, of course, well, you got to take 24 to nine 80 to eight 80. And then you can either get off on 12th, seventh, or you can take it through to Jackson street, Go through the Webster tube. And then you're on Willie Stargell Avenue and then you head down to tower Avenue and Then you're on, Jesus Christ. Nobody I've, I've zoned out and come back in. This is in like an old Naval barracks, So it's all like stuff that's been kind of paved over or knocked down and like old hangers
[45:00]And stuff. And so the, one of the parking lots had what appeared to be sawed off like poles of some Sort. So these must've been, I don't know, cement towers of some kind. And they're like sawed off. They're cut off now to be about like eight inches high. And I went to park and I, I parked like with one of them in front of me and one of them Behind me. And I knew that if no one parked to the left of me, I was going to be able to just back Straight out and go and be fine. But if anyone parked to the left of me, it was going to need to be like a thousand point Turn to try to get out of there. Cause I got this one behind me, like, yeah. And so I've got a backup camera. I've got 360 camera. I got all this stuff that should prevent me from this happening. Like, believe me, I'm trying to explain this to animals. I'm trying to explain this to animals. I'm trying to explain this to animals. I'm trying to explain this to animals. I'm trying to explain this to animals. And then this little stump was to my left and I could see it very close to the car But it hadn't made any sound yet. I thought it was okay And I backed all the way it was fine and then when I pulled back forward to make the next point of my turn
[46:00]That's when I heard that and I knew scratching. Yeah Aaron's on the phone with With Aaron's wife a Gmail.com. Hey, what's it? What's that? I hear the background. Of course the record just died out It's like wait, what is that back there? It's Eric's car. Yeah What and of course it's not just a hands up excuse me for a second hands up. I thought that would be a funnier bed Okay, that's on me. I thought the record scratching It just didn't come across well. That's not bad. Wait, we guys know the do you guys know the famous bub rope scraper car video? No, what Aaron we don't have time for this we don't we do not have time for the bub rope scraper car right now, please Yeah, so that's what happened. I scraped the car It's like not it's not bad enough to make an insurance claim, but it's bad enough that it would cost I don't know $500 if I took it in probably so I bought a DIY kit But I don't think it's the strong enough one because I think it's scraped too deep
[47:00]I'm gonna have to get like a paint pen or something out. It's not good, but I'm gonna try I'm gonna try not to scrape up the second new car now Aaron now Aaron it was it now how humiliated is it that not only do you have to get home and Just get your ass reamed out by your wife or scratch this car again Yeah, but how soon how many minutes before it when you told her did she utter my name? So for her to not only read you out and then comment like Rob's Just buried you. Yeah, what do you say? Oh, I also need to skip your yoga class. It's like you do the podcast with Rob Yeah, yeah, she's still gone man the kids in bed. She went to her yoga. It was candlelight yoga I'm everything mention my name Aaron. Did you yeah? I mean yes, and not and I'm not saying that in a weird way Not immediately, but yeah, I think it did come up that this was you know nice make it for a good podcast story So I'm gonna try and have to scrape the next car for yoga is Is this you have like some Dominican guys or yoga instructor or something like that? I don't know yet I'll find out when
[48:00]Huge crank Who's who's rolling going after me am I the last room man? How's it rolling with Matt? Good I was hoping that you'd get on so I can get to my rolling going I've been saving this one for a long time specifically for you This is gonna be a lot of rolling going that's gonna come out then No, no, it's just it's really quick. I had my annual review at work Annual review time and I kind of been in a smaller little group and everything like it's not anything very formal or anything but I Sit down bosses. Yeah, you're doing great all this stuff I really like that. I can yell at you. Oh What that was the feedback? I'm not sure really like that. I could yell at you. Oh, and I just so okay I took a bit as he left and I was like, that's pretty funny Is that is would you ever tell anybody in your office at upper middle management Aaron that you really like that? You can yell I don't think I would that one
[49:00]I mean it definitely means he knows he's like comfortable with you, right? Like there's certain people you're more that's what you know And is he's basically said I like that I yielded the other two guys. I can't yell out there You know, so I like that I yell that who dares yell you I want to go fight this guy, right? Yeah Man, I mean man. Who's yelling at you? You're a big But I mean, it's it's one of those things where and I Don't know how to describe it properly without like giving away too much But like there's decisions that need to be made, right? There's decisions that need to be made And it's not like I haven't gotten just a little bit loud every once in a while to like what are we doing? Kind of it's you know things like that like You know, we did this over here. Why can't we do this over here things like that? Are you working at one of these coffees is for closers place for you guys are fucking yelling about your leads at each other like No, no, I kind of used to work at a shop like that. No, this is very much a You know, I get a paycheck every two weeks and it's it's just fine, but it's it's funny
[50:00]So I just it it was I was trying to just get It's all good and like yeah, and I really like the guy and learned a lot from all this stuff He'll retire in a couple years here and be fine and but it I just was trying to get done I hate these year-end review things. I was just trying to get through it But afterwards I was the people's opinions man. Yeah as I got it's pretty good So I don't know. I just tell you guys might get a kick out of you know I mean part of your corporate America review is I would never yell it Matt. I don't think I mean We've real yelled it Matt. Can you imagine I? Can't even imagine yelling at man like I've maybe yelled it Russell. I don't think so. I might have yelled at Joe from Woodbury Never yelled at Rob nor East St. Paul I used to work when I worked when I started teaching all the teachers are like, yeah Used to be able to throw these kids up against the lockers Damn Well what they would talk about which was appealing to me is they would talk about how there's a teacher smoking lounge
[51:00]Oh, yeah, I was like goddamn I wish I was teaching during a smoking lounge to come right from Teaching and go into a room and just fire up like three or four cigarettes and complain and grade papers smoking Oh, that'd be so fun My first job out of undergrad was at a group home And my my boss would tell stories about how he was working in the group home with kids And he's like I don't have a cigarette during group like we'd be doing circle Yeah with the kids. I feel like having a cigarette kids got to learn. Yeah, why do you crush it? Well, that makes other men ball. Okay, Russell. Have you ever had to just walk out of a room? Hey, I just had to say like guys they need three minutes. So you don't yell at somebody you ever get that mad. I I speak pretty forcefully at times, but I'm not a yeller. I would that to me that's juvenile I don't understand that like I can't relate to that. They'd be else Agree with you Russell that it is you know, yeah Yeah, I was gonna say I got a little erect. You read Russell. I say that he talks forcefully Russell
[52:00]Can you talk forcefully to one of those? I was a rush talking force. I actually kind of have a strap the sounds. He's okay I had I actually had an idea of maybe what Matt's boss said and it probably was something like this If what man did in his life? Yes, both through the body of others and makes them believe deeper It's something larger than life than his essence. His spirit will be immortalized in your work and you'll be above plan Russell can I just say to I want to go back And apologize that I implied that if you and I slept together, I would make you strap something on Okay, that was a masculine of me. I would not make you strap something on I Would not have you are in no you would not I would you're enough Russell You're enough for me. We would when we made love it would be all natural Oh, how embarrassing would it be if like the straps wouldn't fit around my legs? Like they wouldn't quite look like I had to get a
[53:00]Seafeld extender. Yeah, that's one thing because they'd be like well, what size do you want? You'd be like well big. Yeah, but maybe they wouldn't understand and the strap on they give you as big But the straps are small Can you explain to your wife what we're talking about right now not everything is big just They're like you want to you want a big strap on you're like, no, I want a small strap on with Ask her with a yoga instructors first name Why are you doing this? Is it Randy Filipe? Oh my god Smelling them rolling going. How's it going with you? Listen? Christmas tree is still up. Okay. I gotta say that right now. Christmas tree is up. It is currently March 8th. I Am starting to think this is a test of my husbandly duties, and I'm failing Okay, I started to think maybe it was fun And I'm starting to think maybe this is something that I should have been taking care of a long time ago
[54:00]Okay, but the tree might come down tomorrow, but we are gonna have to go down and ask for a Christmas tree bag God, that's gonna have one They have to otherwise we're gonna drag it out. There's gonna be needles all over the place But thank God about that vacuum. I have an idea for you. What's that? You take it out one branch at a time like when no one cut off a branch You take it out and see if anyone notices. It's great escape slowly. You slowly take it out Start from the back though start from the back. So didn't cause nobody in this time. Yeah. Oh That's so good Russell. That's such a great idea second of all piece of the time didn't cost me a dime Again, I got my weight loss medication. I'm backing on it this week Okay, you're back. I'm a fighter back in the game Hey, I am now paying cash while I try to figure out this insurance shit It is now $300 a month for the lowest dose. I'm paying cash It comes the next Jenny is now yelling to me Jenny. I'm in the middle of my rolling going
[55:00]Aaron Rob earlier felt the need to tell us how much he makes his salary and everything. Oh, wow So I'm just gonna say I don't feel bad for what he's paying for these drugs What does Jenny want to talk about guys, please don't make me say what Jenny wants to talk about right now Man's boss. She loves to yell at me. It was like we need to know She goes you should have paid with that with her HSA It's true. [56:00]So I get the medicine You should Venmo request your wife for the next payment see if she said you the money Russell if you think she has a Venmo Oh, I bet she does. Hey, you have a Venmo, right? Got you. I'll do that. I'm gonna I will do that to her Okay, fuel for the love machine. That's what you ever look at people's Venmo Oh, this is one of those this is one of these fucked up couples that splits the food like married couples It's like Venmo for food. You're like, what's the fuck is this some sort of business deal Root rumor is your Venmo's a little low and that's why the bedding is Well, yeah, he's been using his Venmo for his weight loss trucks my wife just told me she has a sexy picture on Venmo Now unfortunately, you don't know that I guess you should be Venmoing her for dinner I'm not I'm telling you those couples on Venmo are so fucking funny to me New fridge. Why are you Venmoing him for a new fridge? We talked about this before who are the people who decide their
[57:00]Venmo should be public. Do they not know any better? They don't know Like Rob. I think it's purposely doing it. Yeah. Oh, I do public. Yeah Hey, I have my read receipts on my text. People can see when I read their text. I'm an open book, baby I'm on tiktok. I want everybody to know what I'm up to. Let's go Now while this medicine comes My old medicine was a self auto injector that I could just do in front of the girls And I'd be like time to power up and I do like a captain America put in my arm get thin This one is a fucking vial with syringes. I Am now in my kitchen Grabbing my stomach and poking myself in the syringe something I can never let my kids see me do Okay, it looks like I but I will say this. I Think I could do drugs. I Have gotten good with it and I'm like, I bet the drugs that do this are pretty good. Yeah
[58:00]I bet it would be really fast. Where is the insertion site? Is this any like it's on the fattest part of my stomach because I'm scared to do it anywhere else Well, because what am I supposed to do get a rubber band around my arm and like book my I said I was wondering if you know, I'm shooting into a vein or what I'm putting it in my stomach And then when I push it it makes a little stinging sensation. I hate it Yeah, how thick is that needle? Was it like a no inch no That's the other thing is that it's longer than I thought and when I poked it in my fat stomach I still didn't feel it and I was like well, that's depressing. You know what I mean? Like how far you could poke something? Yeah, it's like oh, this is why I Love making Joke to the phlebotomist is to give I am wearing a t-shirt to Sam afraid of needles and like no one thinks It's funny like but I have tattoos and if I say I'm afraid of needles, right? But now nobody ever thinks it's funny Well, Rob hit the music That one we've never we've never had a reason to a Jenny. Can you come out here and talk to me more about my HSA, please?
[59:00]Please God. No, I got to keep that shit in Good Lord So you Aaron, do you really have a shirt that says I'm scared of needles? No, it's just a joke. I like to make out loud, but they don't well tend to know. I don't have a shirt This is I'm scared Russell wait, I got to write that down for the I got to write that down for the end of this episode Needles goodbye. Goodbye. Okay, Rob. I'll help you. Goodbye. Guess. I'm not where you go So anyway, that is me now. I will be getting buff I will be getting cum gutters by the summer I'm sure the time we do a show. So I mean, while I'm gonna be paying cash out of the HSA to get my To get my way lost stuff. So I will be buff and it is gonna be worth it. Okay, cuz little is my wife No, this is just money. I'm spending that half. She's gonna get after I get buff You know she's only good. I gotta spend this money cuz once I get buff. She gets half of it So we're set. Isn't there some wrestler, but I'm buff and I'm the stuff Bagwell, right? Alexander bag. Oh my god. Listen, that is the job that was good to get us into the elbow
[1:00:00]Moving to Buff bag. Well, that'd be a better name than fat bag bad nailed it fat bag bad If you're a wrestler and they're like, hey, I'm Vince McMahon. We want to call you fat bag bad I'd be like what? I just don't think I'm it's not tough. Okay. Listen We are talking about Patsy Klein Okay She's born in 1932. Now first of all this album is from What's that? We used to do a thing where you had three sentences and now you're using one of them on their birthday Well, I just think it's fun. He's very long. These have gotten very long to you. Okay, fine. Listen born in 1932 Does anybody really care? I'm just I'm asking for a friend No, this is the birthday segment a lot of people love the birthdays what?
[1:01:00]Every artist is going to get their birthday from now on. We're going birthday. This is a birthday show born in 1932 one of the greatest Patsy Klein just one of the greatest vocalists of all time. Is this album too long? Yeah, are there way too many songs that put you into a haze when you're listening to my work puts you in a weird spot Yes, but is her voice absolutely amazing? Yes, and Russell. She is historic. She is basically the first country artist ever To cross onto the pop charts Right. She was recording down at this four star records. She comes into Nashville. She gets into the Grand Ole Opry She gets this producer Owen Bradley and basically he transformed her into all of her hit songs more than meets the eye Is Transformers It's my padlocking like you say I go crazy Sam we need Don't transform into a plane Next week Russell Transformers theme song before
[1:02:00]She records in 61 I fall the pieces it gets up to number one on the country charts 12 on the pop chart hits She's the first one to really get up on both of these charts gets in a car accident with her brother He has all these hit songs can't sing him for a while because a car accident is so bad then in 61 She records crazy which gets to number two on the country charts number nine on the pop charts And she's huge and then in 1963 she dies in a plane crash all of that this that you're going to hear is about in a two-year span Wow, that makes it way more impressive does who was that other guy? I mean some of this stuff is from some of the late fifties, but all of her big hits are 61 to 63 Who was the Hank Williams? I mean this is so much like Hank Williams We just realized like really short career. Yeah, Hank's probably it's crazy. Honestly Coltrane also So either I wonder how old she was if only there's a bar we could go to see how now listen Let's get into Patsy Klein the ultimate collection now. I got to admit when I look at Patsy Klein albums
[1:03:00]It seemed like she had albums. I Don't know why are we getting a best of is it just Albums like they did they really didn't come out until 63 to 65 There's so many Patsy Klein albums. Do we have to have one that is the longest album of all time? And I know you out there listening to the podcast you're looking at the timing you're being like Jesus Christ It's almost like Almost like Rolling Stone didn't think anyone was gonna talk their way through every song in the album The songs aren't that long. It's not that long of a listen. The songs are two and a half minutes That's right. Yeah, it's true 82 minutes total for all It's kind of fun and listen to this voice though. I mean just Crazy good. She was not a big fan of this song Really? How old is she? What year was she born? 32 now, okay? She plays it on the hit show Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts now Again, why were our grandparents so lame they watched a show called Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts and they liked it
[1:04:00]Okay, dumb This is where we make a joke about some of these grandma getting fingered to this I know Why do you want to always bring up my grandmother? Hear about your grandparents and you're implying my grandpa's Verility is gone. Are you gonna play this whole song? Eric, this is my grandmother's sex life. You're talking. It's true So basically CBS got so many calls about that song That the record company was like, damn, this is a hit and we got to rush it out This is one of the first songs ever to blow up because of TV like for them to change like It's like that Ashley Simpson. It's like a reverse Ashley Simpson. It's big on TV said it just like tic-tac Today all the songs come out of tic-tac. Oh, yeah
[1:05:00]Poor man's roses Yeah, I would guess Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts was kind of the original tic-tac if you think about it Or rich man's gold Now I did not search change the times on these songs. I didn't think it mattered to not start out getting it It is enjoyable to listen to we listen to the whole album one morning this week And you know, there's nothing where you go like I want to hear that like it's really fun. Yep It's true. Love Sick Blues. Oh, wow Whoa, do I need to fast-forward? Do we not want to just listen to the intro of every song because they're all the same Listen, she's got a great voice But I fall to pieces This is the one the song debuts on the Billboard Country chart In April Gets up to number six by August one of the slowest rises of all time took April August and then also reached 12 on the pop chart
[1:06:00]Okay, there's something about this I was gonna say occasionally there's one of these songs that has a little tempo. The only thing I don't love about this is These songs are so slow. Yes Like yeah, it is almost a brutal slog to get through a bit just feels like it drag You feel like the crowd throwing beer bottles at the chicken coop and lose brothers. Come on guys. It's true It's true. Hey now listen. I don't think Pantera was inspired by this album I'm just gonna say that right now I'm gonna go on a limb and say that I do think they had respect for it though You think so I don't know Pantera I do have that song come on on the way room That song was true lover to believe
[1:07:00]Here is one that Russell won't go get to see because of blood clots at San Antonio Rose Is that a hippo violation I bet when he's got a huge dog you don't even have to say it you just know it, right? I think that's implied nobody's brought it up, but now you have It would be a bummer though when he pissed his pants and it was all high Really What a bummer you think you have it's like of all the guys to have a huge dong You least would accept that guy. He's huge. What do you think he went back to Paris or is he hanging on San Antonio? Part of the problem is flying right? He was flying too much already. So then what do you do? Like he's got to be grounded, right? He's gonna go job man stuff flying as a cruiser as a risk factor for DVT Aaron This is probably the biggest song on the whole album. By the way, this album impossible to listen to anywhere
[1:08:00]Yeah, but if I had a playlist of somebody cobbled together, I couldn't download this on any of my illegal downloading sites I literally had to download a four CD set and then put these songs in the right order And you got to buy the CDs now we but now we have the banger. It's crazy Of course written by Willie Nelson in 1996. This became the all-time Most played song on jukeboxes this wow We've talked about that once before I believe you I thought we did Okay, and Aaron if you think Russell and I were going through descriptions of the show earlier and laughing at our own writing I believe it Man guys, I haven't played a song in a jukebox several years now And like a real jukebox like that touch tunes on what that I want a jukebox It's full of CDs that someone picked The last part I had this closed so Boy, everything's closed in an Oakland, huh? Wow That's so sad The Willie Nelson had trouble selling this song because it had so many chords compared to most country songs at the time
[1:09:00]And basically Charlie Dick had brought her Her what her husband had brought her nightlife and she hated it. She said I don't want I hate this Willie Nelson guy Don't bring me any more of his songs Until she did this one this pre beard Willie Nelson you guys ever seen a picture of Willie with Very much He looks like Abraham Lincoln kind of I'm guessing I'm guessing you know most country songs right written for Guys or whatever gentlemen singers and you need a voice for that song like even when Willie sings it It's pretty Team maybe some words compared to her version so I Could see where it was maybe a little hard to get somebody to buy that have you ever been lonely Well plus Willie would sing it for you You know, he'd be like off the beat so much you'd be like wow, I can't sing this like it's Almost impossible
[1:10:00]I was reading about this yes, well yes, they're the most familiar version of that song was a duet that They recorded after she passed away With another singer named Jim Reeves who also died in a plane crash So they took two people who died in the crash and did a duet with them And it became like the most popular version of that song Rob. What are your thoughts? It's a terrible track yeah, I'm not gonna make a joke about you now That's a fact I regret that Russell I was gonna say you brought up that it's very slow. I think this album is Awesome in the right setting. Yeah, if that makes sense like I don't like country music anymore We're up at our cabin. We're just throwing bags or just sitting out having a beer or something like that
[1:11:00]Like this is a great album to just sit around to do nothing to you know What you should do is put this on a playlist with that Hank Williams Big album Combine it. Oh, and then if you really love country music, maybe a little Ray Charles on there South of the border What Country music right and even pop music at the time the like Fascination with Mexico Yeah, it's like streets of Loreto or yeah Well, I love that's yeah In my mind if you were living in Texas, there's a good chance if you cross the border You would meet a sweet sinurita. Yeah would break your heart. Yeah Yeah And then die of something like dropsy what I mean That's what they never talked about that but that's always what would happen. What? Yeah, some weird old disease. You don't hear about it anymore. Well, hopefully it's not a honto virus Listen, there's no way old diseases are kind of come back. So I'm not worried about dropsy at all We're set. Okay. We see how much you can incline bench
[1:12:00]Strange Okay And this song is not what you about what you think it's not about stranger Strange listen for them to put South of the border and stranger next to each other they want to talk So this producer basically is the one that put these kind of orchestral scores behind her and Actually her backup singer. She was Constantly getting jealous of how good they were and worried that they're gonna bury her in the mix They are good. A lot of Patsy Klein stories make her sound like she did not fuck around You don't want to cross Patsy Klein Well, it's a thin line, right? Like you're if you claw to get to the top like there's somebody coming for your job So you can't let your backup singer get close It's true. We got time to fuck off every once while. I love you so much. It hurts Okay, and I just say this They did Patsy Klein dirty With this album cover. I'm just gonna say that right now. I think Patsy Klein. There's so many pictures where she is
[1:13:00]Gorgeous They make her look like a 70 year old like a 70 year old grandma She looks like a granny and I know that she was born in 1932. Yeah, oh Now everybody's interested when she's born because we got to figure out. Yeah, she was 29. Oh This is the picture like toward the end of like a funeral brochure. What do you call that a funeral pamphlet? You know where you see like the young people This is at the end. Oh Did her dirty Just nasty just don't why would you put that? If I made an album this was a photo I'd be furious It looks like my grandma went to the Olmstead County fair and said hey that thing with the sepia photographs We're all gonna do it. Let's go to the western where let's get the guns my grandma was not a sepia sexual
[1:14:00]Why do you keep talking about this here? She's from the neck down. She looks like Pat from Saturday and live like It's not I'm laughing Pat remember played by one of our greatest senators who grew up somebody Bill Bailey Won't you please come home? Oh speaking of Al Franken fooling around. We forgot fooling around This is kind of a fun. The band is good here, right? Like these are pros This thing to me this was there's all the hits everyone knows this is the song I didn't know that I enjoyed the most this at the tempo and had a little I think this sounds good too. It sounds pretty good for being recorded You get a little towards the end. Maybe Well, it's like when she like it's kind of a catch a little too
[1:15:00]Damn yeah, oh And that's the other two is that we've talked about was it her that we were talking about that did the sexy songs Before other people or was that Who did the song about the birth control pill We're at the Lynn. It was learning. Yeah, getting that mixed up Bill Bailey won't you please come home? Bailey is one of my agent of this song Erin can I just tell you a joke you just I'm sorry Rob. I was listening to the music First of all, is this a music podcast listen Bailey was my favorite comic. Oh, it's beetle Bailey. I screwed it up. You were right to talk over it Damn it. Plus listen, if somebody came up to you go, oh, what's your favorite comic and you said beetle Bailey You would immediately stab that person because they are a alien time traveler from 1953. That's crazy I didn't know. Yeah, this is really so full. Wow
[1:16:00]She's got you Okay, go go go. Oh, I put on some engineer some weird alternate take Hard aches he's got you Well, listen to the piano there Does anybody else here like kind of like the start of Beach Boys kind of it's comes that like I very much rock kind of stuff. Yeah, I'm sure you can hear that the guitar doesn't really feel country a lot of it Yeah, well you can imagine like Johnny Cash here in this to be like Yes, right? This is what I want to do. This is the sound I want. Yeah I'm gonna say you can imagine Taylor Swift here and going like oh, yeah, that's how I went the arc of my career to go I'm gonna make popular country tunes and I'm gonna take over the world The original Taylor Swift now think about Taylor Swift as you put out a great hits album
[1:17:00]And this is the picture they used it's a picture that looks like this for Taylor Swift It would not compute Travis Kelsey would be out and they'd be winning Super Bowls It looks like Travis Kelsey. It looks like Travis Kelsey is sitting there. You're cheating Erin listen, I get all my Travis Kelsey podcast material from the Travis Kelsey podcast Listen to it every day Geez listen to that I love celebrity podcast so great Hank Williams song sounds good That brings us to the end of album one Speed up every time you guys have said something I'm like guys. We got you're right. I'm yep What's your favorite time of day you got a time of day you love
[1:18:00]I'm gonna say for me 330 schools out You Feels like my day start. What do you think? Are you saying three but no, are you saying 330 Specific or 330 Pacific? Yeah, Erin does say specific. That is a bit. We're starting now that Erin says specific instead of Pacific I do No, yeah, I didn't know you do who know I do that you do That's odd half as much Oh I like mid-morning a lot. I'm like a like once I'm out of bed enough that's nice End of the night like the end of the night Yeah, I Do love going to bed right now. I'm in the love the one to bed face On Monday, I went to bed at like 730. Oh my god. It was so good But this one I get a lot of comfortable saying the title of when I get through with you
[1:19:00]You'll love me too now Looking at this album cover it does look like Patsy Klein to somebody who could rustle me to the ground I think we should do a special episode of just Rob Pronouncing song titles we could do at this point we could do hours and hours of just Rob reading song titles I bet some of our sickos would listen to that Are you saying I have a bit of a mush mouth sometimes when I'm trying to think of a joke No, I'm just saying some of these song titles are funny to pronounce out loud I wasn't criticizing you. This is a jam I Mean this is kind of a sexy like I know we're going from this to Rihanna, right? Yeah, it's like oh kind of a whiplash, but She's not asexual on these songs. There's a lot of like I'm gonna get you. I'm gonna take you in the closet I'm gonna unbelt your big brown pants because you know all the guys back there I'm wearing brown pants. Yeah, do you know how many guys got hand jobs and brown pants back there a bunch? You think so a bunch everybody's wearing brown polyester pants and just getting their pud pulled
[1:20:00]Hank Williams would have got nothing if he had to wear those deformed pink crocs. You've got Rob Oh my god, Erin. Remember when Matt told me to put my shoes in the dryer. Yeah, you remember that? No Yeah, it looks like somebody wear a wedding Imagine that My fucking dog keeps coughing back here. God damn. Oh your dog is way bigger than I thought Thank you. That's what she said When you need to laugh we were talking about how she's kind of one of this iconic vocalists She's kind of Rob. You were saying pop and country kind of a crossover star for the time, right? Uh- obviously very influential. I thought we could do a list Wow of the artists the greatest artists ever that were influenced by
[1:21:00]Patsy Klein. Oh, okay. I Hope we hear Pantera We're Pantera Well luckily enough Rob number one song in the list Pantera Cemetery gates I get that joke All right, I know a lot about Pantera. We've loosened to Williams. We covered her album before right? She was very influenced by we're not gonna cover her again. There's a number of artists But did we do Loretta Lynn yet? Did we do when we did run over? We just talked about her on list We didn't do it. I love her is no Alright heavily influenced the first song is coal miners daughter by Loretta Lynn. Oh, yeah So she was like a mentee is that a mentee rather than not the mentor but the
[1:22:00]Yeah, well you're well if you have the same name as your mentee then it's a junior mentee Yeah, don't Your pants what if you were getting girls Then it's a then it's something I wasn't growing up was a thin mentee, but then mentee. Yeah There and I heard that joke those good ones So Loretta Lynn actually recorded a whole tribute album to Patsy Klein called I remember Patsy And so she was heavily influenced she covered a lot of her songs and one of her songs Got her to number one on the billboard and it's 977 Rob That was how many years after Patsy was born well about 45 now That reminds me of my dad's tribute album. He did said I love pasties about yeah, he My dad loves the nude male female figure
[1:23:00]Especially under a disco you would say that to me all the time shiny light lights of a disco ball Just remember one thing. I love the female form The one thing you said about those pasties it hard it makes it hard to see their true colors And so the next one on the list is Cindy Lopper colors Interesting so there was a time in the 80s when she was very famous and she couldn't go anywhere Because she was so big right we talked we covered her one album how she popular she not And so she said that one of her friends at MCA records just sent her all of Patsy Klein's ultimate collection She sent her all the stuff and that's what she would do all the time is just stay inside and listen to Patsy Oh, that's cool, but I Rob. I thought you would really love this She fell in love with Patsy Klein as a kid when she saw her on the Arthur Godre talent show
[1:24:00]I see there it is huge So you're ripping on it Rob if it wasn't for that talent show we would not have Cindy Lopper Wow, and then we wouldn't have WWE All right, there'd be no fits big man There'd be no Linda McMahon There'd still be a Department of Education Did you guys know Cindy Lopper also had a country album two of them really and one of them she covered She covered I think it's crazy or she covered or no walking after midnight. You can look it up quick Rob It's actually a very good version of it. Oh, this is going This type you there's a lot of letters that don't seem to go together 2016 country album. Oh, this is corny. I'm just gonna say right off the bat. This is corny as L to be I like it's quick though. It's not too slow All right Yeah Okay
[1:25:00]Can I say this I don't even know if I want to say because it's so depressing go for it It's what my tiktok is showing me right now. That's it And listen, I Know Randy Travis has had some struggles. Okay. I know Randy Travis has had some chemical dependency issues But he is back on tour Okay He is in a chair and he sits there for the whole song He looks terrible. It's on my tiktok. It's apps. It's it's this elder abuse stuff with older singers Why can't we just let older singers not trot out and sing the songs? Please because they mean they could they show up like once a month, right? They probably get 20 grand for the appearance and it's it's it's probably a lot more than that We were talking about going to see you Paul Simon Look at the ticket prices for that I'm not there 300 plus just to get into the building so he makes over the 20 grand for that
[1:26:00]I'm just saying like Randy Travis. There's somebody else that came there's some people from like the 50s Or you know, you got to be eight years old Frankie Valley. Yeah. Yeah things like that Tony Bennett stuff I'm telling you look up there if those of you at home if you're sick look up the Randy Travis singing It's it will depress you and I'll tell you what I think it's when the IRS goes away We're not gonna see those shows anymore all those people will not have to work anymore Can you imagine you know who they should get to run the IRS? Wesley Snipes Hey, can you imagine blade a day walker? Oh, yeah with Whistler Of course the yeah, I don't think I don't think he qualifies with this administration. You know who does qualify Was that a WWE Hall of Famer Erwin R. Schaester? All right, next start us on the list, but who's gonna run the clown department I think dink and link My my my WWE knowledge if you listen to a bunch of these shows you should ask a I how much does Rob about the podcast
[1:27:00]WWE because it seems like he has a very concentrated knowledge of Robo cop and doing Next start us on the list. This is what I haven't thought about this hurrying Forever, it's Katie Lang the song is lock stock and teardrop. Oh That's not kate. That's the letter K Ticket it does sound great He's Canadian right now. She can go in your can your Canada rotation Perfect. She went to college and became fascinated by Patsy Klein's music and that's what caused her to pursue a music career Wow, so she says Katie Lang is her reason for becoming a musician her first band was called the reclines, which is Attribute to Patsy Klein get it. I get it Her debut album 1988 was produced by Owen Bradley the same guy who helped make Patsy Klein's
[1:28:00]Kd is short for a Catherine dawn for those of 90s wasn't she yeah for sure Constant craving was that her constant craving her. Yes. There's some Katie Lang clips that come up where she can fucking blast it She's up there with like a tornado connor type voice and you grab that Rob just because I know you care about this I've she's born in 1961 Yeah, you think it's funny, but I bet and more people like this than like the maps bit I can guarantee it Okay, but hashtag birthday bit. Hey hit us up with hashtag birthday bit. If you like the birthday bit a hashtag maps Don't send us pictures of your birthday bits Do you host count Rob because we've got three people that like maps and I bet we don't have three people that have opinions on any other bit We do Everybody likes this show. It's very important just because we released a good episode this weekend
[1:29:00]Nobody brought up on the text Jane didn't hurt my feelings. I didn't even think about those. Yeah Some stuff on some of our friends when they have listened had said you're no good Which is Linda Ronstad the next artist that was inspired by That's slow enough Patsy Klein though very much inspired by Patsy Klein vocal range and knowledge of the country music influenced her significantly She learned about country from Hank Williams Patsy Klein Growing up She's covered her songs multiple times and I thought this was really cool about Linda Ronstad's voice Erin, I wanted to play the five will goes West song. I know you would love that I thought I don't know what I agree though. I would I didn't want to bring you to tears or anything I almost had it I thought this was one of the best quotes ever about a singer with Linda Ronstad They were interviewing Dolly Parton and she said there's only really three female singers in the world
[1:30:00]Barbara Streisand Linda Ronstad and Connie Smith. The rest of us are only pretending I thought that was such a cool compliment for Linda Ronstad, right? Yeah, it is That's a fan. How have we not had a Linda Ronstad album by the way? There's a there's a there's a couple of them coming up Oh, all right. All right. Next start us on the list. Matt. This one's for you You've talked about her being one of the country artists you like. It's Casey Musgraves What song did you pick? It would be interesting if Patsy Klein was recorded with today's Techniques what that would sound like. I bet it'd be killer Only somebody would make an AI thing that would copy Patsy Klein and we could have her do parody songs Maybe about giddy hamstring cramps one person that has copied her is Casey Musgraves. She performed at A Patsy Klein honor show They did 15 of her songs and she performed a few of them crazy being one of them

Oh Damn, I didn't even think about that. You know what you should have thought about
[1:32:00]The traits are The ultimate final artist. This is a mashup. It's Trisha. You're what and lian rives hit the music Rob Why don't we have more fans the ones that do contact us play songs we know they hate Hey, can we just say To what was his shirt he had Was he the breathalyzer blow here free breathalyzer blow guy? I think so. Yeah, man To think about that guy every time you hear this song crazy And again, this is a song where they did not do a duet radio shows put this together, which is insane This little saxophone part is not good Weird this is wild rustling first year Trisha here would perform patsy client's music when they inducted patsy client into the music city walk of fame
[1:33:00]Majorly influenced by her vocal power Definitely she's got power, right wouldn't you say you're in? Oh, yeah, for sure. There's power here. Yeah, it blows nick cages here This year would set patsy client was first female singer She heard as a child It's who she wanted to sound like lian rives also the other part of her mashup influenced by patsy client Wow, there's a huge part of why she created her sound Listen to so many different female artists throwing up A client it was about the true honest and emotional connection With the way she would take you to a place you don't normally go when you listen to music I thought that was pretty amazing. If we didn't have patsy client. We would have never had the trisha year would Lian rimes Conair song off. Oh my god. I don't even know how you guys can think when that song's on that fucking scrambles my brain So much. I can't try to listen to rustle and there's two different voices Like I kind of not we're dumb shits that don't understand music. It doesn't bother us that it doesn't mash up
[1:34:00]I Did something that doesn't match up. It's like well listen trying to figure whose voice is who and wow Listen, let's get back into it. Where were we? Okay, we're on song 1000 here We're does anybody know where we were? Why can't he be you? We'll say it might not matter Well, this is that one that would that's slow Which song is that the slow one with the little Vampire weekend piano blast Do you think that if the songs were too fast these songs would all be one minute and 10 seconds long and that's why They did them so slowly. Well, you can ask my brother where he listens to this on double speed He's missing out. Okay. There's a lot of timing That's the key to a good joke Aaron. You know what it is timing Back in baby's arms This is on the second disc. Yep. Oh, wow. I gotta say Aaron Baby's arms would be a great nickname if you had a huge dog. You know what I mean? Oh, yeah
[1:35:00]Oh, oh, I don't know. I don't think you would baby anywhere near that part of your body Yes, Russell. I don't watch it son of like romantic comedies, but I feel like that's a perfect romantic comedy That's gotta be in while the lady's getting dressed to go out on the date with the guys In a month there's some there's some there's some movie where that song is played very prominently Leave in on your mind I'll jump ahead a little bit Even on your mind Man, she's having a rough go of it. I'll tell you Bated love Okay Not to be confused with radar love. It's totally different. Oh Yeah, oh, what a banger Wasn't that always on one of the PD collections? I feel like it was on those like late night commercials where I would like For all the oh songs you'd be like, oh, I hope the good songs are highlighted. Yeah. Yeah Someday you'll want me to want you

Do you know what a blue moon is here? I do not it's when you have two full moons in a month. Isn't that a bummer to hear like Not that cool at all Yeah, not that exciting. No You know, it wouldn't be cool though, Rob What's that would be to go see the musical always patsy climb It would be an amazing show to go watch and you could have seen it 2012

We'll tag her on this always I think we might be monetizing this one Oh, yes, give us that sweet money plus patsy climb that estate's not going to come for us They're picking pictures like this of the album. They're messed up. They got nothing going on If you put in the code beck did it better at the monster theater in indiana next week you get 10% off always patsy What kind of cheese? You calling that you calling your any significant other baby Rob is nibbling around the strike. So right now instead of just pumping it down the middle
[1:39:00]He's like i'm gonna nipple with the change. I know now. Usually I do the alphabet crazy arms The Kyle loach kind of night. You gotta just get it done. I oh wow that is a pull Crazy arms Would be one of the greatest boxy nicknames of all time. What would be your boxy nicknames? Your boxer music Oh, man, you guys i'm so i'm so down rabbit holes of watching boxers train Like there's so many good youtube videos of dudes just training hitting the heavy bag. Oh, love it bevel hitting the heavy bag Oh, he's crazy. I do it. Yeah, love it I think I would be a nickname I tried to give myself in high school Which never took the human apocalypse For some reason that never I thought it was a great nickname never took off I don't know What do you what are you erin? I'd be rustled the left sub maker I'd be like it'd be like by Norwegian Oh, that'd be so good I would be a big fan of that man. What are you doing boxing? You know you're going simple like iron mic. I mean, what are we doing here? [100:00] I well, I think we were trying to go with like actual real life things. It's like
[1:40:00]Christmas blow up king or something. I don't know. Oh, that's good. That's good. I just like the blow up king I think that'd be good that people play like wow if you blow people up and it's like no He has a lot of blow-ups in his yard. Erin. What about you? [100:17] And in his closet, man, I would like to be the panty-dropper He's gotta let her know that he's got options guys He's gonna go to do a late night yoga with the big Dominican dude Yes, she's coming back home to you guys Is your wife ever listen this Is your wife ever listen to this when you guys like her in the kitchen dinner to our podcast? [100:48] No, she listens on her headphones when she's boxing I'm like that you guys will be in the same room when she hears what you just said Is there's a small chance like once in a while I'll come home and she's like in the house
[1:41:00]And like she's laughing at something and it is our podcast once in a while. There you go I feel like getting the shit beat out of you by somebody named the panty-dropper would be extra depressing Yeah, I think that would be no good. Listen. Finally, we're at the rating system Erin tried to distract us from nibbling You know, oh never Erin that might also be a copyright infringement on king hippo from mike tyson's bunch That's a great point Yeah, I'd get in trouble for that I'm thinking about king hippo because that's kind of like me when I have to put that syringe in Because I raised my hand and All right, I'm just gonna listen aim for that big X in the middle rob. Yeah. Yeah, the bandage for my syringe poke This is This is all the way out now original All the way up I could never get past don flamenco. No, so bob insky. Oh, man. Don't or rust up. Don't do that to me
[1:42:00]That's tough Now This is number 229 on our list. We're about to break off another 10 on this show. It's crazy Should this I gotta get this face of patsy client off of here. It just is staring at me like she's good It looks like she's gonna you know how you can do that real quick rob. What's that? [102:22] Playing the plane. All right. Let's do it fucking 229 Patsy client. Okay does it belong at 229 on the list? [102:30] Well, that's what we're here to discuss actually the podcast kind of hasn't started until now when we discuss this part Is this a rolling well tone? This is a perfect at 229. It's great patsy client great vocalist inspiration for many Okay, including heather beck It's perfect to 29 is perfect rolling well tone. Is this a rolling bone? [102:50] Should have been higher Up on the list. It's bone being so low, which of course is a higher number Okay, and you're thinking yourself So low with a higher number. So yeah the hit movie solo
[1:43:00]Sorry, very van people's had a higher number from me on rotten tomatoes than most people. I gave it nine stars now Or is this a rolling groan? Okay We do not like this movie. Wow. Is he in jcv? Not a movie. I can't remember. Who's that? [103:19] Very van people's I'm sure I I've never actually seen jcvd. Believe it or not. Oh, it's a fun one I enjoyed it now. Did I see have I recently seen? [103:28] the one with JCVD and Dennis Rodman where they make a bunch of basketball puns including if you remember they Parachute out of the sky and land in giant basketballs. They so did not know what to do with Dennis Rodman now Or is this a rolling groan? [103:43] It should have been higher up on the list or should be which of course is a higher number in that case Okay, I know what you're thinking up higher number like altitude. Okay. It's easy to think about that way It's actually the same What do you think? [103:55] [103:55] 229 rolling old tone rolling bone to rolling groan erin. What do you think? [104:00] I shouldn't have to say it anymore, but it's a greatest hits collection
[1:44:00]I think it's a rolling doesn't be long, but it is fun to listen to and she And should be listened to so I'm going to give it a rolling well toned. I guess don't ever do that again. Okay I'm watching you. I don't want to yell at you, but I will Okay, are you gonna like yelling at me Rob? I love yelling at your ass Hey, I'm switching out to a bigger strap on when I'm doing that. I think it's great. Oh Is it the waistband or the arm Here and excuse me That's my strap on you're talking about here's the deal Russell has a cowboy hat on we have not mentioned it, but for this album. It's perfect. It sets the mood Okay, it makes me know that this is the man in control Okay, Russell. What do you think rolling well toned rolling bone or rolling groan? I'm with erin the greatest hits. I'll never be on board There's an amazing place for this in the world of music, but it shouldn't be on the greatest albums list So I want this I will be excited at some point to pick this up for my collection
[1:45:00]If you can even find the ultimate collection on vinyl I was going to ask you guys with this many songs Is this two records both to four sides or is this how many records do you think is on this erin? [105:16] Is it eight sides four sides? How many times am I flipping? [105:22] It's 82 minutes. So I'm guessing it's Two albums four sides. I I think if you get this on a double album, you would really enjoy it You got to find the right time. I think Matt's right. I don't know what that time necessarily is I'm trying to narrow that down, but this is a great album. She's so Amazing singer amazing songs that she performed and amazing influence on some of our favorites So so I'm going to say it's rolling doesn't belong Right here. Yeah, I think that's yeah, that's what it is. You guys actually that I just going just man Try to do that for a couple weeks. It's actually really hard Okay
[1:46:00]There's a lot of them have already been used. Oh, I was going to say one other thing But oh, I don't think this belongs either I feel like this is something you could buy off like a time life commercial on pbs You know what I'm saying like it's hey, we've got these old folks You got to get all their greatest hits and it's for 4 4 99 and we're going to charge you It just it feels too The collection feels it like it just doesn't belong with all these other albums that we've listened to But you have to admit if one of the greatest top 500 albums of all time was either The espn album that had the Mortal Kombat song on it. That would be dark jams That's one of the greatest albums of all time. I would argue that's one of the greatest albums Or if it was if if we get to like 4 85 and it's Monsters of Rock, you'd be like, fuck. Yeah, this album belongs out here This thing kicks ass. There's that x-game album from like 93. Yeah, that's good. Yeah, you're totally right
[1:47:00]Matt, what do you think rolling well-toned rolling bone rolling grown? I think this rolling doesn't belong Interesting, that is clever I mean, I'm just going through and I like to do this when we get albums like Russell said it best, right? Like absolutely fun to listen to and she should be on all sorts of lists But we've got Tory Amos coming up. We've got [107:28] I had a whole bunch of I mean Whitney Houston is coming up shortly Tracy Chapman, Tracy Chapman, we've got Joni Mitchell, Dolly Parton, Kota Mini Colors, Janice Joplin, Pearl I mean, there is a ton of like actual albums Not to mention the blue album by Weezer, which I've been just hammering the last couple weeks At 295 so and that's all before you know, I Pearl is at 259. So in the next 30 albums we've got a plethora A plethora of influential female artists that have great albums. So I just think this rolling doesn't belong
[1:48:00]Bologna on the list. Unfortunately I forgot about it. So I've always forgot about it for the fourth time. There's three of you. I forgot about it now We'll play on words kind of unfortunately. You guys are incorrect. Well, yeah, it was and it's Shit, but it you also have to do a part after it that explains it listen Hey Rob Hey, this would have never happened if you would have moved it a long earlier We would have got through this before you got on You'd moved it alone if you were to move it alone alone Yeah what this big crush is actually I love it. I'm in full support And it makes me feel better about myself Imitation is a sincerest form of flattery That's true. Okay, also getting run over by a steamroller. That's about as flattery as you can get Now this gets a rolling vocalization recognition Oh double up on your ass actually creative double up on your ass double sun She's one of about five artists that when you hear them who it is Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Patsy Klein and RFK jr
[1:49:00]And these vaccines aren't safe. I mean you just know That's who else could it be? [109:15] Paul McCartney What if he was the opposite of Michael Jackson and the girl is fine. It was RFK jr What would that sound like? [109:27] I don't know Michael. She really seems to like me. The girl is fine Roberts I don't think so Michael This unvaccinated girl is mine Now I forgot to say I forgot to do this bit. I got so excited but next week we've got Rihanna with auntie When is she gonna make some albums for the unkeys? [109:49] [109:53] I can't hit the thing though because technically that was a joke earlier. Pretty good joke. Thank you. I like that one All right, listen, [110:01] [110:03] I would wear a shirt to the phlebotomist that says needle scare me
[1:50:00]Here loves that joke. He does love that joke. It's my joke. I mean I can't help but laugh Oh no, oh, of course It's bound to happen Hello, is this coming from the a great beyond hello Hey, baby, it's me. It's the big bopper. How is it going? I can't believe it, baby I had to agree with you guys on something. I've been listening for years and finally I agreed. You know what I agree with What's that? [110:39] I also hate the greatest hits I mean that wasn't my greatest hits Our big bopper greatest hits we may have hit the expiration Like that may have been the last appearance of the big bopper ever You
